Ramadan is approaching and people are passing away everyday, young and old.
What chance do we sinners have to make it to the blessed month?

What's scary is we will still fall into sins because of our nature as humans, or we have sins we struggle to come out from.
Now is the time to beg Allāh to allow us to reach this blessed month, and to pardon us for our sins, and to allow us to be firm upon that which pleases Him and to leave off that which displeases Him.

Return to Allāh as a slave in need, truly recognising your weaknesses and ask Allāh to help you.

Allāh Sees who amongst us is sincere, and if we come with humility as slaves in need of His Forgiveness and Mercy, He will surely give us what we wish and provide for us with abundance!

There are moments when the weight of this world feels unbearable, its trials, its disappointments, and the endless struggles that seem to drain the soul. But then, I remind myself: this life is fleeting. It was never meant to be a place of ultimate comfort, nor a destination to settle in. Every hardship, every tear shed is but a step in a journey designed to test our resolve. What truly matters is not what we endure here, but what awaits us beyond.

For the believer, this dunya is a passage, not a home. It is a path laden with challenges, meant to refine the soul and strengthen the heart. And no matter how heavy the burdens may feel, they are nothing compared to the eternal joy that Allāh has promised His righteous servants.

So when sorrow clouds your heart, hold on to this truth: “The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.” (Sahih Muslim 2956)

And remember, “Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:10)

The struggles of this world will fade, but the reward of patience and trust in Allāh will remain forever. ♡

Forgiveness

As I walk through the journey of life, I've come to realize that forgiveness is not a destination, but a process. It's a path I choose to take, though it's not always easy. When hurt by others, I don't forgive in an instant. Instead, I take my time, letting the wounds heal, and the emotions settle.

But why do I forgive, even when those who hurt me don't seek my pardon or apologize? Why do I release the burdens of their wrongdoing, even when they're no longer a part of my life? It's because I know that carrying the weight of their mistakes would only hinder my own growth.

I forgive because I'm too busy living, learning, and loving to let the negativity of others hold me back. I forgive because Islam teaches me that letting go of resentment doesn't diminish my worth, but rather elevates my soul.

Forgiveness is my liberation, my freedom from the chains of bitterness and anger. It's my gift to myself, allowing me to move forward, to heal, and to find peace. With each act of forgiveness, I'm reminded that I'm stronger than the hurts of my past, and that I have the power to choose how I want to live my life.

Many women complain about their husbands not praying Fajr on time.

If you're not yet married, take this as a lesson: when considering a potential spouse, ask about his commitment to Fajr and Salah in general.

A man who values his connection with Allāh will value his responsibilities toward you.
Salah is the foundation of a believer's life. If he's steadfast in prayer, he's likely to be steadfast in other aspects too.

A Lifelong Companion, Not A Seasonal Guest

The month of the Qur’ān is approaching, but why wait until Ramadān to begin?

Let us start now, reciting, reflecting, and living by its guidance, so that when Ramadān arrives, our hearts are already attached to the words of Allāh, not just racing to complete them.

Do we expect to find true peace and salvation when we only open the Qur’ān one month a year?

The Qur’ān was sent as a lifelong companion, not a seasonal guest. Let us not treat it as a ritual for Ramadān, but as the light that guides us every day of our lives.

True tranquility is found only in Tawheed—the oneness of Allāh. We were created solely to worship Him. When a person turns to anything other than Allāh, their heart becomes restless and lost. True peace and comfort come only through knowing and connecting with the Creator, the Sovereign.

By seeking Allāh sincerely and wholeheartedly, you’ll find love, peace, and contentment. Everything else in this world is temporary, but the bond with Allāh is eternal and deeply fulfilling.

Some journeys in life are meant to be walked alone

No distractions, no expectations from people, just pure trust in Allāh تعالیٰ
There will be moments when no one understands your struggles, when no one stands by your side, and when the path feels uncertain. But these are the moments Allāh brings you closer to Him. He removes the noise of the world so you can hear the whispers of your heart calling out to Him.

It may feel lonely at times, but this solitude is not emptiness—it’s space for growth, reflection, and a deeper connection with Allāh. Every step taken with sincerity brings you closer to Him, and every hardship endured with patience strengthens your faith.
So, don’t fear walking alone. If Allāh is with you, you have everything you need.

The Race Against Time: Offering Your Best to Allāh in Your Prime

A sincere advice for my brothers and sisters in Islām,

As I watch my father, weak and recovering from his brain operation—a man who, at 87 years old, was once the most active and vibrant person—I am deeply moved. Today, he struggles to even move a limb. Seeing him, once so full of energy and independence, now fighting to perform even the simplest of movements, has profoundly reminded me of the value of our youth, our prime, and good health.

Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ have repeatedly reminded us of the fleeting nature of life, the value of youth, and the urgency to act before our time is up. Sadly, this reality only dawns on many of us when it’s too late—when we are weak, ill, or at the end of our journey.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.” (Sunan Tirmidhī)

This narration is the foundation of my advice. Youth is not just a phase of strength and energy; it is a divine trust. It is a fleeting opportunity to earn Allāh’s pleasure before life’s inevitabilities—weakness, frailty, and death—overtake us.

When we are young and healthy, it’s easy to overlook the blessings of strength and time. But every breath is a mercy from Allāh, and gratitude demands action. What will our excuse be when Allāh asks us about our youth?

The time to act is now.
The time to serve Allāh, to support others, and to dedicate our wealth, energy, and lives for His sake is now!

When old age or illness arrives, regret often follows. You will only wish you could do what you neglected in your youth. Life is short, and youth even shorter. Every moment wasted in heedlessness is a moment gone forever. Reflect on the regret of those who spent their prime chasing leisure and dunya comfort, only to later find themselves unable to do what they once could.

Imagine standing before Allāh with nothing but excuses for why we did not pray more, fast more, serve more, or give more.

The companions of the Prophet ﷺ were young when they transformed the world. They carried the message of Islām, sacrificing their youth for the eternal gardens of Jannah.

Where are we? Why not us?

The graveyards are filled with people who thought they had more time. Don’t let that be your story. Seize your youth. Seize your health. Seize your life for Allāh. In the end, only what we do for Allāh will endure.

The time is now. Act, before it’s too late.

— أبو إسماعيل

May Allāh make this advice a source of reflection and action for all of us, amiin.

Feeling worn out? Take a deep breath.
This too shall pass. ♡

Have you ever felt so weighed down by life that even your own thoughts seemed too heavy to carry? I think we’ve all been there in one way or another. Some days, no amount of motivation feels enough, and even the most beautiful reminders seem distant...

But you’re not failing for feeling this way. It’s human to feel exhausted, to carry the weight of this Dunya in a heart that was created for something far greater. Allāh never intended this world to be our paradise—it’s a stepping stone, a refining process to prepare us for something eternal. When life feels unbearable, let yourself feel the weight, but don’t let it convince you to give up. Remind yourself gently: “This too shall pass.” Allāh promised ease, not after hardship, but with it. Every struggle you endure comes with hidden mercy, even if it’s hard to see right now.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Strange is the affair of the believer, for there is good for him in every matter, and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, he thanks Allāh, and that is good for him. If he is harmed, he shows patience, and that is good for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

So, when life feels too much, trust that your patience is precious in the sight of Allāh. He sees your quiet struggles, hears your silent ad'iyah, and your endurance when no one else does.

And yes, it’s okay to pause, to cry, to feel unsure. These aren’t signs of weakness; they’re signs of being alive, of being human. When you feel numb, let your heart whisper to its Creator. He hears you, even when you can’t find the words. Remember, nothing you endure is ever wasted. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allāh expiates some of his sins for it.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

So hold on, even if it’s just by a thread. Every tear, every ache, and every moment of patience is seen, recorded, and rewarded. Allāh never tests us to break us—only to bring us closer to Him. Keep holding on, even if all you can do is take one more small step. The road ahead may be long, but the destination is worth every struggle.

May Allāh bring peace to our hearts and soothe every pain we carry. May He be our comfort when we feel lost and our calm when life feels heavy. May Allāh help us place our trust completely in Him, to rely on His wisdom even when we don’t understand, and to find strength in knowing He is enough for us. May Allāh keep us firm on His path, steady in our faith, and strong in doing what pleases Him, no matter what comes our way, amiin. 💌

Do you truly love Allāh?

Take a moment to evaluate your love for Allāh.
It's said that when you love someone, you naturally love their words. So, ask yourself: Do you truly love Allāh? Many of us listen to music, memorize its lyrics, and recite it repeatedly, but we struggle to do the same with Allāh's speech. Is your love for Allāh genuine, or is it something you claim without meaning it?

If you love Allāh, you will inevitably love His speech. The two go hand in hand. You cannot truly claim to love Allāh while prioritizing the speech of Shaytan (music) over the Qur'an.

Remember that music is haram (forbidden) in Islam, as it distracts the heart from Allāh and His remembrance. Choose wisely. When you begin to prioritize the Qur'an in your life, I guarantee, by the permission of Allāh, that you will witness profound changes in your heart, mind, and life.

Prioritize His words, abandon what displeases Him, and see the transformation unfold.

The word Haya', meaning shame and modesty, is derived from hayah, meaning life. The rain is called haya because it brings life to the land, plant and livestock. The life of the world and the Hereafter is known as haya'; anyone who has no shame is dead in the world and wretched in the Hereafter.

Between the sins and lack of shame and jealousy there is attachment; each one of them requires the other and looks earnestly for it.

Anyone who feels ashamed of Allāh at the time of committing a sin will feel ashamed of His punishment on the Day he meets with Him; anyone who does not have shame from disobedience of Allāh will not be ashamed of His punishment.

When Dry Flowers Bloom Through His Mercy

There are moments in life when we feel overwhelmed by our shortcomings and mistakes, wondering if we are worthy of Allāh’s blessings. But the truth is, our relationship with Allāh is not based on what we deserve; it’s built on His infinite mercy. No matter how flawed we are, Allāh’s mercy is greater than our imperfections. This is the essence of turning to Him, not because of our worthiness, but because He is Al-Rahman, the Most Merciful.

When we feel broken, like dry flowers inside, struggling to find life and purpose, it’s comforting to remember: "There are so many dry flowers inside of me, and You, Allāh, You are the Lord of the rain." Just as rain revives barren land, Allāh’s mercy and love can rejuvenate even the most desolate hearts. It’s a reminder that no matter how distant or empty we may feel, Allāh is near, waiting to bring us back to life, to heal our wounds, and to nurture our souls.

This realization teaches us humility and hope. Humility because we recognize that we are entirely dependent on Him. Hope because we trust that He will never leave us in despair. So, let us turn to Allāh with sincere hearts, seeking His mercy and guidance. He is the One who transforms emptiness into abundance and hopelessness into strength. With Allāh, every barren soul can blossom again.

Sharīʿah Over Customs

Every Muslim must avoid blindly following customs and instead evaluate them against the principles of Sharīʿah.

If a custom aligns with Sharīʿah, it is permissible to follow; otherwise, it must be avoided.

The mere fact that people are accustomed to something does not make it permissible.

All customs practiced in any land or tribe must be assessed in light of the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.

What Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ have permitted remains lawful, and what Allāh has prohibited must be abandoned, even if it is a deeply rooted tradition.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴?

How long will you wander like a stranger, lost in your own faith?

Neglecting deeds despite the knowledge that you’ve gained.

Friday after Friday, a blur of time and space. Where is your salawaath, your dhikr, and your dua’s embrace?

Have you forgotten the sweetness of communication with the Almighty, or are you too ashamed to try? With every breath, gratitude to Allah is due, a debt that can never be repaid. But instead, you suffocate under the weight of your own pride, your own negligence.

You long for something and seek it with all your heart, but you miss Tahajjud’s precious moments without a fight. You cling to sins like a drowning man to a sinking ship, and yet you wonder why your heart remains so heavy, so dark, and ripped.

So wake up, O dear one, and take a hard look within. Are you living the life that Allah has ordained for you, or are you just pretending? Are you using your blessings to build a life of purpose and meaning, or are you squandering them away on fleeting pleasures and vain desires?

The choice is yours, but know that the consequences will also be yours to bear.

Let this be a wake-up call, a reminder to turn back to the path—to seek forgiveness, to make amends, and to start anew with a heart that’s pure and a spirit that’s true. For the clock is ticking, and time is running out.

Will you answer the call, or will you continue to slumber and miss out?

Memories are the ruins of the past imprinted in our souls, and they - both sweet and bitter - generate sorrows.

We grieve over the sweet ones: why didn't they last?

And over the bitter ones: how did they pass?

The best way to benefit from them is through contemplation and remembrance, drawing lessons and learning from them.

Never give up on making du’aa . Every du’aa has a purpose: it may be answered as we wish, delayed for a better time, or used to protect us from harm. Trust in Allāh’s wisdom and keep praying.

If you're wondering, 'Why is my Rabb delaying?'

Remember, He isn’t late; His timing is perfect. Whatever you’re waiting for – blessings, healing, or guidance – it’s coming.
Stay patient and keep your focus on Allah.
His timing is always better than what we think is ‘good timing.’
With Allāh as your guide, there’s no need to worry about the path ahead.

Sometimes in life, we reach a point where we have two paths: one leading to Allāh and the other to our desires. In those moments, choosing Allāh’s command and following His path seems like hardest thing to do. But we often forget that when we leave something for Allāh, He blesses us with something better.

One thing about our desires is , once they are fulfilled, there is no real fulfillment in it.
They often leave us hollow. We desire things one after another, and the cycle is never ending.

Whereas when Allāh blesses us with something, there is peace in that fulfillment and a kind of contentment.

So, let this be a gentle reminder to myself and to all of you:
when life brings you to a road where you have to choose between Allāh and your desires, choose Allāh.

For when one choose Allāh's path he opens other beautiful paths for us that we have never imagined.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

In a moment of reflection, I feel the need to reach out with sincerity and humility. I take responsibility for any wrong I may have done towards others, and from the depths of my heart, I offer my sincere apologies. Wa’Allaahi, life is fleeting and far too precious to be weighed down by grudges. Though I can say with honesty that I never intended to cause pain, intentions do not erase the impact of our actions; what truly matters is how others have felt in response to them. I humbly seek forgiveness, hoping to leave no heart unsettled.

To anyone I may have wronged, I am genuinely sorry.

Never expect people to reciprocate your efforts and intentions in the same way.
This will save you from a lot of emotional and mental pain.

If people do reciprocate, that's fine. If they don't, it's still fine.

Expecting everyone to be like you and to give as you do will only lead you to drown in your own false expectations.

Life can be dangerous in a hostile environment where people only care about themselves. In the end, their loyalty lasts only as long as they need to survive. There is no justice or honesty as long as survival is at stake, and anyone can be left to drown.

Take care.

"Why does the thought of dying scare us?"

Because we’ve made this world our main focus, forgetting that it's only temporary. Even though we know life constantly changes, we still hold on to it as if it’s our forever home.

If we were to reflect, we’d understand that this life is just a stop on our journey to the real destination that awaits us. So, when everything around us is temporary, how can our worries, sadness, tears, joy, and laughter be any different? They too are part of this world’s fleeting nature.

Put your trust in Allaah. Know that He has planned the best life for you. Your current situation is not the end. Our true home isn’t here.

Trust in Allaah and keep going forward. Remember, after every dark night, a new day begins. Keep your faith strong.
