“Cover inarticulateness as much as you can with silence,
For in silence, there is comfort for the silent.

Make silence - when you are at a loss for words - your answer,
Perhaps the answer to some words lies in silence.”

“People will continue to honor you as long as you do not take what is in their hands. But if you do so, they will despise you, dislike your speech and hate you!”

‏فاعفُ عنّا يا أرحم الرّاحمين، يا مَن يغضبُ
‏على مَن لا يسألهُ لا تمنع مَن قد سألك

“My Lord, indeed Iblīs is an enemy to You, and he is an enemy to us. And You do not anger him with anything more than Your forgiveness of us. So forgive us, O Most Merciful of those who possess mercy, O You who becomes angry with those who do not ask You, do not withhold from those who ask You.”
