On November 16, 2024, Setaweet, in collaboration with the Merahit student group, organized an impactful training session on healthy relationships, emphasizing consent and exploring the characteristics of healthy relationships. The discussions were highly interactive and engaging, allowing participants to share personal experiences and exchange meaningful ideas. This initiative was made possible through the generous support of Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Last Friday’s Merahit event at Africa Zero Plan was a night to remember! 🎉 We had the honor of hosting Hana Lale, Co founder of Merahit, along with her colleagues from the Ethiopian Human Rights Defenders Centre. The evening was emotional as we looked back on Hana’s journey in creating Merahit and the lasting impact she has had on our campus. 🌟

Speeches from Hana herself, as well as our current president Dina, reflected on Merahit’s growth and its importance to the female students at Hawassa University. 🗣️ The night also included an insightful discussion on body positivity and self-love, exploring their powerful influence on our mental well-being.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring and memorable evening. Let’s continue to support each other and spread love, both for ourselves and those around us. 💛
