ማኅበሩ ነጻ የሕግ ድጋፍ አገልግሎት ለማግኘት የሚያስችለውን “7711” የተሰኘ ነጻ የስልክ መስመር የማስተዋወቅ የጎዳና ላይ ንቅናቄ ስራውን አጠናክሮ ቀጥሏል፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ የሕግ ባለሙያ ሴቶች ማኅበር ከዩኒሴፍ ጋር አጋርነት በመፍጠር ከህዳር 11-12 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም በጂንካ ከተማ አሪ ዞን የሚገኙ የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች “7711” በተሰኘው ነጻ የስልክ መስመር ላይ በመደወል ነጻ የሕግ ድጋፍ አገልግሎት ማግኘት የሚችሉበትን መንገድ ለማስተዋወቅ በሞንታርቦ የታገዘ የድምጽ ማጉያ በመጠቀም እና እስቲከር በመበተን ታላቅ ህዝባዊ ንቅናቄ አካሂዷል፡፡

ይህ ንቅናቄ ማህበረሰቡ በተለይም የህግ ድጋፍ አገልግሎት ለማግኘት የት መሄድ እንዳለባቸው ግንዛቤ የሌላቸው ሴቶች ባሉበት ሆነው ነጻ የስልክ መስመሩን በመጠቀም ለችግራቸው መፍትሄና ነጻ የሕግ ምክር አገልግሎት ማግኘት እንዲችሉ ግንዛቤ የሚፈጥር ነው፡፡

EWLA has Continued its street Campaign initiative to introduce its Toll Free number "7711" to enable free legal aid Service for those in need

From November 20-21, 2024, Ethiopian Women Lawyers’ Association (EWLA) in partnership with UNICEF conducted a remarkable street Campaign to promote the toll-free number "7711” which helps to get free legal Aid services in Ari zone, Jinka town using megaphone/Montarbo and by distributing stickers among the public.

This campaign has created an opportunity and raised awareness among the community especially the women who don’t know where to go for legal advice.

የኢትዮጵያ የሕግ ባለሙያ ሴቶች ማኅበር ከዩኒሴፍ ጋር በመተባበር ህዳር 11 እና 12 ቀን 2017 ዓ/ም በጂንካ ከተማ አሪ ዞን እንዲሁም በወራቤ ከተማ ስልጤ ዞን ለሚገኙና በዞኑ ሴቶችና ህጻናት፣ ፖሊስ ቢሮዎች እንዲሁም በኢትዮጵያ የሕግ ባለሙያ ሴቶች ማኅበር በጎ ፈቃደኛ ኮሚቴዎች በኩል የህግ ድጋፍ ለሚደረግላቸው ሴቶች “በፍርድ ቤት ራስን ወክሎ መከራከር” በሚል ርእስ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስልጠና ሰጥቷል፡፡


ስልጠናው የሕግ ድጋፍና ክትትል እየተደረገላቸው ለሚገኙ ሴቶች በፍርድ ቤት ጠበቃ ሳይኖር ራስን ወክሎ እንዴት መከራከር እንዳለባቸው እና ፍትህ ለማግኘት የሚያስፈልጋቸውን የሕግ እውቀቶች እንዲያገኙ ለማስቻል ያለመ ነበር፡፡ በዚህ ስልጠና ስለ ክስ ማመልከቻ አጻጻፍና በክስ ማመልከቻው መካተት ስላለባቸው የስነስርአት ህግ መርሆች፣ ስለ መጥሪያ አደራረስ፣ ስለ ክስ አቀራረብ፣ የክስ ክርክር አመራርና ስለ ማስረጃ አይነቶችና አቀራረብ፣ ስለ ይርጋ፣ ስለ ቅሬታና ይግባኝ፤ ወራሽነትን መጠየቅና ውል እንዲፈርስ/ውድቅ እንዲሆን ስለመጠየቅ የመሳሰሉ የህግ ጉዳዮችና የፍርድ ቤት የክርክር አካሄዶች ዙሪያ ገለጻና ውይይት ተካሂዷል፡፡ ውይይቱን ተከትሎም ከተሳታፊዎች የተለያዩ ጥያቄዎች ተነስተው ከመድረኩ ምላሽና ማብራሪያ ተሰጥቷል፡፡ ተሳታፊዎችም ከዚህ ስልጠና በፍርድ ቤት ራሳቸውን ወክለው መከራከር የሚያስችል እውቀት እንዳገኙ፣ ስልጠናው በጣም ጠቃሚ እንደሆነና ለሌሎችም አካላት መሰጠት እንዳለበት ሃሳብና አስተያየታቸውን አንጸባርቀዋል፡፡


On November 20 and 21, 2024, Ethiopian Women Lawyers’ Association (EWLA), in partnership with UNICEF, provided Awareness raising training on “Self-court representation” to women receiving legal aid service through Jinka town, Ari and Worabe town, Silte zones bureau of Women and Children; and Police as well as EWLA volunteer committee in Ari zone, Jinka.


The training was aimed at providing women who are receiving legal support and follow up on how to represent themselves in court without a lawyer and to equip them with the legal knowledge they need to get justice. In this training, issues like: writing case application and the principles of procedural law that should be included in the case application, summoning, presentation of case, ways of handling case argument and how they should be argued, the types and presentation of evidence, Period of limitation, complaints and appeals, claim for inheritance and contract to be rejected and other legal issues as well as court debate procedures were presented, explained and discussed. Following the presentation, various questions were raised and responses and explanations were given from the forum, and the participants reflected that they had gained significant knowledge to represent themselves in court.
