Ibn Abi Dunyā narrated that 'Amr ibn Dinar said: A man from Madinah had a sister that passed away. They prepared her body and carried her to the grave. After they buried her, they returned to their family. The man remembered that he forgot a bag inside of the grave. He took one of his companions with him to retrieve the bag. They dug up the grave and found the bag.

The man said: Let us check the condition of your sister. They removed the plank covering the niche and found her grave ignited with fire. They covered the grave back with dirt and went to his mother to ask her about the condition of his sister.

The mother said that she would delay the prayer untill its time elapsed and she did not believe she would perform wudhu before praying. She would also go to the door of her neighbor when everyone was asleep and place her ear at their door to eavesdrop on their conversation.

The Creditor

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ demanding his debts and behaved rudely. The companions of the Prophet intended to harm him, but Allah's Apostle ﷺ said (to them), "Leave him, for the creditor (i.e. owner of a right) has the right to speak." Allah's Apostle then said, "Give him a camel of the same age as that of his." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! There is only a camel that is older than his." Allah's Apostle said, "Give (it to) him, for the best amongst you is he who pays the rights of others handsomely."

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:
Allah's Apostle ﷺ owed a man some debt (and that man demanded it very harshly). The companions of the Prophet wanted to harm him, but the Prophet said to them, "Leave him, as the creditor has the right to speak harshly." He then added, "Buy (a camel) of the same age and give it to him." They said, "We cannot get except a camel of an older age than that of his." He said, "Buy it and give it to him, as the best amongst you is he who pays back his debt in the most handsome way.'

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: When the Day of Resurrection approaches, the dreams of a believer will hardly fail to come true, and a dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of prophetism, and whatever belongs to prothetism can never be false.

Muhammad bin Sireen said: But I say this.
He said:"It used to be said: There are three types of dreams: The reflection of one's thoughts & experiences one has during wakefulness, what is suggested by Satan to frighten the dreamer, or glad tidings from Allah."

So, if someone has a dream which he dislikes, he should not tell it to others, but get up & offer a prayer." He added, "He (Abu Hurairah) hated to see a Ghul (i.e., iron collar around his neck in a dream) & people liked to see fetters (on their feet in a dream). The fetters on the feet symbolizes one's constant & firm adherence to religion.

And Abu Abdullah said:
Ghuls (iron collars) are used only for necks.

The act of cleaning oneself (after urinating and defecation) with water is called istinjaa' (الاستنجاء) and cleaning with other than water like stones and tissues and the likes is called istijmaar (الاستجمار)

24. The angels saying to the believer: “Sleep the sleep of the groom who does not awake except that his family has become more beloved to him.”
25. The righteous companion's saying to the believer: “May Allah reward you with good, for by Allah, indeed, I knew you to rush to do good but you were slow to do evil.”
26. The believer in his grave bears witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Messenger of Allah
27. The believer is shown his place in Heaven day and night
28. The saying of the inhabitants of the heavens to the souls of the believers: “A good soul has come from the people of Earth, may Allah bless you and your body that you used to inhibit.”

The Ruling on the Dowry

Q: The questioner asks, “Is the dowry from the pillars of the marriage? And what is the evidence for that ?”

Answer: The dowry is not from its pillars, nor is it from the conditions, but it is necessary; because Allah said when He mentioned:
وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَن تَبْتَغُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِكُم
And what is other than that has been made permissible for you, provided you seek them with your wealth.
(Surah an-Nisa, 4:24)
