Benefit | Easy Dhikr With Tremendous Rewards

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “No servant ever says:

‘Laa Ilaaha Illallaahu Waḥdahoo Laa Shareeka Lahoo, Lahul Mulku Walahul Ḥamdu Wahuwa ‘Alaa Kulli Shay`in Qadeer’

(There is none worthy of worship except Allāh, and He is alone, He has no partners, to Him belongs the supreme authority and praise and He is able to do all things)

Being sincere with it from his soul, being truthful with it from his heart (and) tongue, EXCEPT that the doors of heaven are torn apart for him until Allāh looks at the one who uttered this statement, and the right of the servant whom Allāh looks toward is that he is granted whatever he asks for.”

Temporary Pleasures vs True Happiness

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:

‎“O people who take pleasure in a life that will vanish, falling in love with a faded shadow is sheer stupidity!”

Purification of the Soul [Pg. 147].

Reflection:

❖ In Islām, the concepts of pleasure and happiness are distinctly different, yet interconnected.

Pleasure often refers to temporary sensory experiences that may bring immediate gratification, such as indulgence in food, entertainment, or material possessions.

Happiness in Islām is deeper and more profound, rooted in spiritual fulfillment and the contentment that comes from a relationship with Allāh.

❖ True happiness is achieved through worship and obedience to Allāh, as it aligns with the soul’s purpose and leads to inner peace.

Action plan

❖ Prioritise pleasing Allāh over personal pleasure.

❖ Read the following supplication:

اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ الْأَشْيَاءِ إِلَيَّ

“O Allāh, make your love the most beloved of things to me."

The Greatest Bounty Upon the Slave | Shaykh Abdurrazzaq al-Badr حفظه الله

كنوز العلم

29 Nov, 13:33

Broken hearts ❤️‍🩹

Must read.

#Copied

Mugheeth was married to Bareerah while they were both slaves. Immediately Bareerah got her freedom, she revoked the marriage and even the Prophet pleading on behalf of Mugheeth did not change her mind. Mugheeth, may Allah be pleased with him, wept.

He wasn't just weeping, he would walk behind Bareerah with tears screaming down his beards seeking the love of one has none for him. The Prophet was also astonished and said to Abbas :

ألَا تَعْجَبْ مِنْ حُبِّ مُغيثٍ بَرِيرَةً ، ومِنْ بُغْضِ بَرِيرَةَ مُغِيثًا
Amazing is Mugheeth's love for Bareerah and her disinterest in him !

1. What this honored Sahabi is experiencing is an heartbreak; "A broken heart is a metaphor for the intense pain or emotional stress that someone feels after a great loss or deep longing. It's often used to describe the pain of unrequited or lost love"

It goes beyond a metaphor at times and can become a real medical problem , which is called the "broken heart syndrome"
Piety does not mean you cannot suffer emotionally. Piety does not prevent heartbreak.

2. If crying for love were prohibited, the Prophet would have stopped Mugheeth. There's nothing wrong in crying for love. Just understand your culture and know where and when to cry.

3. Nobody wants to suffer heartbreak, to mitigate this :

a. Avoid crushing on people that can possibly marry you, but marriage between the two of you is impossible.

Let me explain a bit: if you crush on a TV star , you yourself know it's impossible to marry him or her, it's not much of a pain.

But if you crush on your teacher, it is very possible you marry him or her , but impossible because of certain other reasons. It may hit you hard and bad when s/he marries.

b. Avoid marriage with people you yourself saw the red flags but continued to lie to yourself that it will work out. It may in some possible world. It doesn't in this world. Better to allow your emotions die outside marriage than suffer heart demolition in marriage.

c. Give preference to character over looks and wealth. I didn't say you shouldn't consider these, I am saying character is more important.

d. Love responsibly. No human being is worthy of unconditional love. The only being worthy of that is your Creator and He does not break hearts. All else, even your favorite celebrity Shaykh, can cause you severe emotional harm.

e. Keep healthy relationships with friends, family and your religious community. Marriage does not mean severing the ties of kinship nor the bonds of friendship. Be wary of those who request your love at the expense of your love for others.

4. If and When the heartbreak occurs:

a. It is Qadar. This always mitigate our loss.

b. If crying will bring the person back, cry him or her a river. If it will not , cry in the privacy of your home. It is not wrong to cry publicly in an environment that is sane, but a lot of environments today are insane.

c. Reconnect with loved ones. Connect or reconnet with community. Spend time on your hobby. Avoid too much thinking about your loss. Have hope that another will come.

d. Avoid going into a relationship immediately. Give it time. Rebounds are usually recipes for further heartbreaks.

e. Speak to someone you trust ,who will understand you. You must TRUST him or her , and MUST have at least the feeling that s/he can understand your pain. If one of this is missing, speaking to yourself is better.

d. Patience. For all pains are limited by time.

May Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala Heal you.

🌸 The Forgotten Sacrifices of a Mother 🌸

رب ارحمهما كما ربياني صغيرا 🤲🏻

A mother’s journey is one of silent sacrifices and boundless love. She gives up her dreams, endures sleepless nights, and whispers countless prayers—all for us. 💖
Yet, as we grow, we forget. Her quiet sacrifices fade into the chaos of our lives. And when we become parents, we face the same struggles but forget she once stood where we are now. 🌿🌙

She asks for nothing, yet her heart overflows with prayers for us. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Your mother, your mother, your mother, then your father." Let’s honor her before it’s too late—hold her hand, thank her, and love her deeply. ❤️

Via 🌿Shajar Parenting Group

May Allaah Bless our mothers and Grant us wisdom to cherish them. Ameen. 🌟

One of the more emotional moments from this recent 7-day conference was a touching story shared by Sh. Abdullah an-Najmi حفظه الله about Sh. Ahmad an-Najmi رحمه الله and his deep love and care for the Muslims, especially for the Students of Knowledge.

On one occasion, a Yemeni student came to study under the Shaykh but fell seriously ill during his visit. Sh. Ahmad learned of the student’s condition after midnight and rushed to the student, determined to take him to the hospital.

Once they reached, the doctor advised Sh. Ahmad to go home, assuring him that the hospital would handle everything. However, Sh. Ahmad replied, "This is my son; I will not leave him."

That student later recounted to Sh. Abdullah that Sh. Ahmad stayed by his side the entire night, performing ruqya on him until Fajr.

Subhanallah, Sh. Ahmad treated his students as if they were his own children, offering them the same care and support he would provide to his flesh and blood. This shows the character of our Ulema, true reflections of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.

May Allah have mercy on Sh. Ahmad an-Najmi, the great scholar Mufti of South KSA, may Allah preserve all of the scholars of Ahl-Sunnah, and guide us all to the straight path far from deviation. Aameen.

Beware of Shubhaat (Doubts) - Indeed these are a very dangerous tool of Shaytan to mislead people!

When a few words could destroy mountains, then O, O' Common Man, what do you think about yourself?

Sheikh Rabi, may Allah preserve him, said:

Those ones often get lost and join the parties of evil. Ibn Aqil, a mountain among mountains in intellect, depth and knowledge, was advised not to go with the Mu’tazilah, yet he went to them and became a Mu’tazili.

Abu Dharr, a student of Ad Daraqutni, an Imam in the Sunnah, heard a word that influenced him, so he went and became an Ash’ari.

AbdurRazzaq sat with Ja’far ibn Sulaiman ad Duba’i, who had some Shi’ism in him. He sat with him, then he turned towards Shi’ism and inclined towards (became interested in) it. Then, the poor man became a Shiah, though his Shi’ism was not severe. We do not wrong (injure) him, but he fell and was influenced.

Thus, whoever sits with the people of falsehood will inevitably be influenced against his will. No matter what he claims for himself, he will inevitably be affected.

Allow your boys to grow into men.

One of the hardest things today is to raise boys into masculine men in a feminised gynocentric world.

While you're stuck in the west or other parts of the world which has the same agenda of constant attacks on masculinity, you need to make sure you are not doing your boys a disfavour by neglect or by going along with the stream.

Teach them how to be responsible, don't rush to help them in everything. Let them figure things out. If you send them on an errand and they get it wrong, don't scold them. Tell them about the parts they did right and then the parts they got wrong and teach them that a man corrects what he has done wrong, let them make it right. These details will teach them how to take responsibility and that it is up to them to make it right, no one will fix their mistakes.

Let them wrestle with their brothers, don't interfere. This is how they will grow strong, masculine and resilient. Leave them to get into fights as long as they're not the oppressor.

This grows both self-esteem and healthy strong character.

When they fall, don't rush to comfort them like a small baby. Teach them that men fall, men hurt and even if they cry it is OK but men don't give up. If you don't, they will always be afraid of doing the hard things that might hurt or be tough.

When they argue, don't interfere straight away, let them work it out. It is good for their development and intelligence. When they've worked it out, call them to sit down and ask them how they came to resolve the problem. Give credit on what they've done right and correct what was wrong.

When they want something or reach for something or need something, don't rush to help, and if they fail, call them to you and talk to them. Tell them that men do fail, but men never give up. And let them do it over and over until they accomplish whatever they set out to do.

If you don't do this, they will forever be afraid of failure and always leave things half done, don't turn them into quitters. Teach them that men bite it together and get things done no matter how tough the task.

Don't talk to them like small children, adress them as grown men, give them kunya, make them feel like adults, let them feel included and let them grow early into masculine, resilient, strong men in body and mind.
