Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“A protection from the Shaytān is restraining the glance, avoiding excessive speech and food, and not mixing with the people excessively. The Shaytān gains mastery over the son of Adam through these four doors.

The wandering glance transports the image to the heart and distracts the mind with it. Thus, fitnah starts with a curious glance.”

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The Qur'ān is a stranger in the heart of a sinner."

Ibn Masood (radiyAllahu ‘anhu)

Do not befriend anyone except the ones who aid you in the remembrance of Allah.

‎'Abdullāh b. Mas'ūd رضي الله عنه: “The light of the heavens and the earth is due to the Light of Allāh's Face.”

This hadeeth applies to both men and women and Allah knows best⁣

Abu Ad-Dardh narrated:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Nothing is placed on the Scale that is heavier than good character. Indeed the person with good character will have attained the rank of the person of fasting and prayer.”⁣⁣

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Verily, Allah has revealed to me that you must be humble towards one another, so that no one oppresses another or boasts to another.⁣⁣

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said,

“The religion is all morals; whoever has better morals than you is more committed to the religion than you.”

[Madaarij al-Saalikeen 2/307]📚

Wahb bin Munabbih رحمه الله said,

“Whoever is afflicted with some calamity, he has been taken on the path of the Prophets!”

[Hilyat al Awliya 4/56]

WINTER❄️

Umar رضي الله عنه said,

“Winter is the prize of the worshippers.”

[Imam Ahmad, Az-Zuhd]


Ubaid Ibn 'Omair رحمه الله used to say if winter came,

“O people of the Quran, the nights have lengthened for your prayers and the days have shortened for your fasting, so take advantage.”

[المصنف لابن أبي شيبة ٩٨٣٦]


Abdullah Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه said,

“Welcome winter wherein blessings descend, and the nights lengthen for qiyam while the days shorten for fasting.”

[Lata'if al-Ma'arif]

The  Prophet ﷺ said: "Modesty and Iman are inseparable; if one disappears the other one follows." (Authenticated by Al-Albani).

This highlights how grave it is when Muslim men and women lose their modesty—first from their hearts, then through their actions and appearance. If modesty is lost, Iman is lost along with it.

Imām ash-Shāfi'ī: “Whoever does not love knowledge, then there is no goodness in him..”

Allah commands in the Qur'an

#Prophet #Hadith

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “I have several names. I am Muḥammad (The Oft Praised), I am Aḥmad (The Most Praising), I am al-Mahi (the Obliterator) by whom Allah obliterates disbelief. And I am the Gatherer (al-Hashir) at whose feet humankind shall gather. And I am the Final (al-Aqib), after whom there is no prophet.” (Bukhārī)

Ṣalla Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a man goes out of his house to his Masjid, one foot records a good deed and the other erases a bad deed."

Can you imagine?

We are living in a time when all the sins of the earlier generations have come together - the sins of the people of Noah, Firaun, Loot, Haamaan, and Qaaroon, yet Allaah تعالى is merciful to all of us.

We are living in an age that seems worse than Jaahiliyyah, but the scary thing is that Allaah تعالى will not send another Prophet or Messenger to guide us or rectify our affairs!

And scarier than this is that the people are arguing, questioning, doubting, and denying the very foundation of this Deen!

People do not care about the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, except those upon whom our Lord has mercy.

May Allaah have mercy on us and rectify our affairs. The most clear Aayah that describes our situation is:

اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُّعْرِضُونَ
{Mankind’s reckoning has drawn near, while they turn away in heedlessness}
[Surah al-Anbiyaa (21):1]

More than 1,400 years have passed since this Aayah was revealed, and the passing of every moment is bringing us closer and closer to the Day of Judgment, yet we are drowning in our heedlessness.

As the poet said:
People are in their heedlessness...
…while the millstone of death is grinding.

Shaikh al-Sadee رحمه الله commented on this Aayah, saying:
“This is an expression of amazement at people’s attitude and at the fact that no reminder moves them, and they do not pay any attention to any warner, for their reckoning has drawn near and the requital for their deeds, both good and bad, is at hand, but they are turning away in heedlessness, paying no attention to the purpose for which they were created, ignoring that of which they have been warned as if they were created for this world and were born merely to enjoy physical pleasures therein. Allaah keeps renewing the reminder and exhortation to them, but they persist in their negligence and turning away.” [1]

A lot of people are living in heedlessness and ignorance. Many people are behaving like there is no questioning in the grave, no Resurrection, no Judgment, no Reckoning, that they will not be held accountable to Allaah سبحانه وتعالى for their actions!

In our time, there has been an ever increase in the number of men who behave like Dayyooth (cuckold) [2]. Immorality, foolishness, chaos, disorder, confusion, and ignorance are on the rise. There are women who are behaving like men and men who are behaving like women!

May Allaah have mercy on us, we should ever increase in our supplication:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ القُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قُلُوبُنَا عَلَى دِينِكَ
❝O Controller of the hearts, keep our hearts firm upon Your religion.❞ [3]

O Allaah! Grant us a good end.

O Allaah! Forgive us, have mercy on us, and rectify our affairs.

May Allaah show us the truth as truth and help us to follow it. And may Allaah show us the falsehood as falsehood and help us to shun it.

[1] Tafseer al-Sa`dee

[2] Dayyooth (a man with no protective jealousy for his wife/daughter/sister. He is the one who approves of evil conduct in his family. He allows them to intermingle with non-Mahram men. He sees them doing something objectionable but does not feel bad or stop them.)

The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: ❝There are three at whom Allaah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection:
1) The one who disobeys his parents,
2) the woman who imitates men in her outward appearance,
3) and the Dayyooth (cuckold).
And there are three who will not enter Paradise:
1) The one who disobeys his parents,
2) the drunkard,
3) and the one who reminds people of what he has given them.❞
[Sunan al-Nasaa’ee (2562) and graded as “Hasan Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

[3] Sunan al-Tirmidhee and Sunan Ibn Maajah, and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee. Anas رضي الله عنه narrated that Allaah’s Messenger ﷺ used to say this quite frequently.

Plant Yourself A Tree In Paradise NOW

Say any of the words of remembrance below to plant a tree in Jannah:

First Dhikr:

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

Subḥānallāhil-Aẓīmi wa biḥamdi

“Glorified is Allāh, the Magnificent and praised is He."

Sunan At-Tirmidhī [no. 3464].

Second Dhikr:

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh

“There is no might and no power except by Allāh."

Mu’jam al-Kabīr [no. 13354].

Action plan:

- Repeat both after reading the post.
- ⁠Read every day.
- ⁠Share to friend to share that same reward when they say it InshāAllāh.

Read & Share

And (as for) the servant;

if he exchanges disobedience with obedience, Allaah will exchange the punishment upon him with pardoning (him), and humiliation with honor

[Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah), al-Jawaab al-Kaafi, 73]

Ahmed Ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said,

“When a man asks for a woman's hand in marriage he should inquire about her beauty; if he is pleased, he should ask about her religiosity, if he is pleased, he should marry her and if he isn't pleased then his rejection is based on (him not being satisfied with her) religiosity.

One shouldn't ask about religiosity first, whereby if he is pleased with it he asks about her beauty and if he isn't pleased with it he rejects her, as this rejection becomes based on her beauty and not on the account of her religiosity.”

[Al Isnaf 12/206]

Be Kind! ✨

Kindness costs nothing, yet it can heal unseen wounds. Treat everyone with gentleness, you never know their struggles.

Ibn al-Jawzī said: "The less knowledge a person possess; the more able devil will be to deceive him."

‎● {تبليس إبليس صحفة ٥٠٨}

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله reported: Mu’la bin al Fadl رحمه الله said,

“The Salaf used to supplicate to Allah for six months asking him to get them to the month of Ramadan; and they used to supplicate for six months that Allah accept their fasting and other worship in Ramadan.”

[Lataif al Ma’arif 1/138]

روى الحاكم أن النبي ﷺ قال:
Al-Hākem reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

أتاني جبريلُ عليه السَّلامُ فقال: يا محمَّدُ!
“Jibrīl عليه السلام came to me and said, ‘O Muhammad!

عِشْ ما شئتَ فإنَّك ميِّتٌ،
Live as you wish, for you will surely die.

وأحبِبْ من شئتَ فإنَّك مفارقُه،
Love whom you wish, for you will surely be separated.

واعمَلْ ما شئتَ فإنَّك مجزِيٌّ به،
Act as you wish, for you will surely be paid back in kind.’

ثمَّ قال: يا محمَّدُ!
Then he said, ‘O Muhammad!

شرفُ المؤمنِ قيامُه باللَّيلِ ،
Know that the believers’ glory lies in night prayer,

وعِزُّه استغناؤُه عن النَّاسِ.
and his dignity in self-sufficiency.’”

[حسنه الألباني في صحيح الجامع (73)]

Quran (At-Taubah 9:112)

ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ ٱلْعَٰبِدُونَ ٱلْحَٰمِدُونَ ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ ٱلْءَامِرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱلنَّاهُونَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱلْحَٰفِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

[The believers are] those who turn to God in repentance; who worship and praise Him; who bow down and pros-trate themselves; who order what is good and forbid what is wrong and who observe God’s limits. Give glad news to such believers.

إذا كان الصبر مراً، فإنّ عاقبته حلوة.

If patience is bitter, the consequences are sweet.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for it is carried above the clouds. Allah Almighty says: By My might and majesty, I will help you in due time.” (Ṭabarānī)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever sends salāh upon me once, Allah will send ṣalāh upon him tenfold, erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status.” (Nasā’ī)

Ṣalla Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam.

#Ãisha_daughter_of_Abubakar_As_Siddiq رضي الله عنهما:

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to remember Allāh in all of his affairs.

💡Jami` At-Tirmidhī 3384 | Sahih

قال الشيخ مقبل بن هادي الوادعي رحمه الله:
Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi‘i, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“تخصيص رجب بعبادة لا نعلم فيه دليلاً،
Specifying Rajab with an act of worship—there is no evidence for it that we know of,

وما يفعله الناس فهو من البدع.”
and what people do is from the innovations.”

Qam‘ al-Mu‘anid: (2/292)

Quranic verse of the day:

Ayat:
اللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
يُخْرِجُهُم مِنَ الظُلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّور

Meaning: Allah is the protector of those who believe, bringing them out of darkness into light.

Tafseer: This ayat reminds us that Allah guides believers from ignorance to knowledge and from sin to righteousness.

Surah: Al-Baqarah (2:257)
Context: This verse highlights Allah's role as protector and guide for believers, contrasting darkness (ignorance/sin) with light (knowledge/righteousness).

Reflection:Tomorrow, seek Allah's guidance and trust in His protection:
- When faced with uncertainty, recall Allah's promise to guide believers.
- Strive to replace ignorance with knowledge and sin with righteousness.
- Trust in Allah's loving care and protection, Aameen.

Jazakumullahu khairan kaseerah.

Forgotten Sunnah - immense strength:

Narrated Ali(may Allah be pleased with him):

Fatima complained of what she suffered from the hand mill and from grinding, when she got the news that some slave girls of the booty had been brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). She went to him to ask for a maid-servant, but she could not find him, and told Aisha of her need. When the Prophet (ﷺ) came, Aisha informed him of that. The Prophet (ﷺ) came to our house when we had gone to our beds. (On seeing the Prophet peace be upon him) we were going to get up, but he (peace be upon him) said, 'Keep at your places,' I felt the coolness of the Prophet's feet on my chest. Then he (peace be upon him) said, "Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say:

'Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater)' for 34 times, and

'Al hamdu Li llah (i.e. all the praises are for Allah)' for 33 times, and

Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) for 33 times.

This is better for you than what you have requested."
