Be Thankful, Always!
وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
{سورة لقمان 12}

اور جو شکر گذار ہوتا ہے، تو اس کا فائدہ اسے ہی پہنچتا ہے اور جو ناشکری کرتا ہے تو بے شک اللہ بے نیاز، تمام تعریفوں والا ہے
And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allāh is Free of need and Praiseworthy.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِى بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ

Alhamdulillahil lathee bi ni’matihi tatimmus saalihaat
All praise and thanks are only for Allah, the One who, by His blessing and favor, perfected goodness/good works are accomplished

*بِسۡـــمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ*

*اَلسَّـــــلَامُ عَلَــيــْكُمْ وَرَحْمَـــةُاللّٰهِ وَبَرَكَـاتُهُ*

*اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاَنِّی اُشْھِدُکَ اَنَّکَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْاَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِی لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَکُنْ لَکَ کُفُوًا اَحَدٌ*

*O Allah, Indeed I ask You, as I bear witness that there is no deity except You, The One, Eternal Refuge, He One who neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to You any equivalent.*

*اے الله! بے شک میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں ، بے شک میں تجھ کو گواہ بناتا ہوں کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو اکیلا ہے، بے نیاز ہے،وہ جس سے نہ کوئی پیدا ہوا اور نہ وہ کسی سے پیدا ہوا اور نہ تیرے لیے کوئی ہمسر ہے۔*

Aye Allah! Beshak mai Tujhse sawal kartha hon, beshak mai Tujh ko gawah banata hon kay Teray siwa koyee Ma'abood nahi, Tu Akela hai, Bayniyaz hai, wo jis say na koyee paida howa aur na wo kisi say paida howa aur na Teray liye koye Humsar hai.

Notice that regardless of how down you’re feeling, once you pick up your Mushaf and you begin to recite; these feelings of sadness soon depart and are replaced by feelings of ease and tranquility.

This is because there are no words that are able to bring comfort to our hearts and souls like, the words of Allāh.

Let your heart wonder into the garden of the Qur’an. Seek consolation in it from every calamity and seek healing in it from all diseases of the heart, so it could bring comfort to your grief.

Our souls are always in need of Allāh, so flee to Him at all times, during your happiness and during your distress.

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamnalanakoonanna mina alkhasireen

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
