አንድ ወጣት መንገድ ላይ ቁጭ ብለው በሚለምኑ ምስኪን አባት አጠገብ እያለፈ ሳንቲም ሊሰጣቸው ፈለገና ቆሞ ኪሱን ሲፈትሽ ምንም ሳንቲም አልያዘም... ከቦርሳው ውስጥ ገንዘብ ሊሰጣቸው አስቦ ኃላ ኪሱ ሲገባ ቦርሳውን እቤት እረስቶ እንደወጣ አስታወሰና እጁን የሚመለከቱትን አባት ቀና ብሎ እንዲህ አላቸው..."ይቅርታ አባቴ ቦርሳዬን እቤት ረስቼው ወጥቻለሁ አሁን ስመለስ ስለማገኘው ይዤ መጥቼ እሰጠወታለሁ"....፡፡ እሳቸውም ፊታቸው በፈገግታ ተሞልቶ እንዲህ አሉት ልጄ አመሰግናለሁ ሌሎች ከሰጡኝ በላይ ሰተኸኛል ልጁ ግራ ተጋብቶ ነገር ግን ምንም አልሰጠሆትም እኮ??! ሲላቸው ሳንቲም አለመያዝህን አውቀህ #ይቅርታ ስትጠይቀኝ አባቴ አልከኝ ይህን ቃል ከዚህ በፊት ከማንም ሰምቼው አላውቅም። ከዚህ ጥሪ በላይ የምወደውና የማከብረው ነገር የለም አሉት ገንዘብ ጉልበት ስልጣን መለወጥ የማይችለውን ነገር አንዲት መልካም ቃል ትለውጠዋለች። መልካም ንግግርም ምፅዋት ነውና!!!

በጃፓን የደረሰው የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ ቀዝቀዝ ካለ በኋላ የነብስ አድን ሰራተኞች በአንድ ፍርስራሽ ቤት ሲገቡ የአንዲት ሴትን እሬሳ ተመለከቱ።

ሴትየዋ በጉልበቷ ተንበርክካለች፤ ሰውነቷ ወደ ፊት ዘንበል ብሎ ነበር፣ ሁለቱ እጆቿ በአንድ ነገር ተደግፎ ነበረ። የፈራረሰው ቤት ጀርባዋ እና ጭንቅላቷ ላይ ወድቋል።

የነፍስ አድን ቡድን መሪው እጁን ወደ ሴቲቱ አካል ለመድረስ በግድግዳው ላይ ባለው ጠባብ ክፍተት ውስጥ እጁን ሴትየዋ ላይ አደረገው።

ሴትየዋ አሁንም በሕይወት ልትኖር እንደምትችል ተስፋ አድርጎ ነበር። ይሁን እንጂ ቀዝቃዛው እና ግትር ሰውነቷ በእርግጠኝነት እንደሞተች ነገረው።

እሱና የተቀሩት የቡድኑ አባላት ከሴትየዋ ቤት ወጥተው ቀጣዩን የፈራረሰውን ሕንፃ ለመፈተሽ ሄዱ።

የቡድን መሪው ግን የሆነ ነገር ተጠራጠረና ወደ ሟቾ ሴት ፍርስራሽ ቤት እንደገና ተመለሰ።

አሁንም ተንበርክኮ ከሬሳው በታች ያለውን ትንሽ ቦታ በእጁ ሲፈትሽ የሆነ ነገር አገኘ።

የነብስ አድን የቡድን መሪው በድንገት እየጮኸ ፣ “ሕፃን! ልጅ አለ! "
አንድ የ3 ወር ሕፃን ልጅ በእናቱ ሬሳ ሥር በአበባማ ብርድ ልብስ ተጠቅልሎ ነበር።

በግልጽ ለማየት እንደሚቻለው ሴትየዋ ልጇን ለማዳን የመጨረሻውን መሥዋዕትነት ከፍላ ነበረ።.

ቤቷ በሚፈርስበት ጊዜ ልጇን ለመጠበቅ ስትል ሰውነቷን ሙሉ ለሙሉ ህፃኑ ልጇ ላይ አድርጋው ነበረ።

የቡድኑ መሪው ህፃኑን ልጅ አንስቶ ሲያየው ህፃኑ በሰላም ተኝቷል።

የሕክምና ቡድን ህፃኑን ልጅ ለመመርመር በፍጥነት ደርሶ ብርድ ልብሱን ሲከፍቱት ብርድ ልብሱ ውስጥ የሞባይል ስልክ ተመለከቱ።

በሞባይል ስክሪኑ ላይ እንዲህ የሚል የጽሑፍ መልእክት አነበቡ።

“ከሞት ከተረፍክ እኔ እንደምወድህ ሁል ግዜም አስታውስ” ይላል።

እንዲህ ነው እናት ለልጇ ያላት ፍቅር !!

Hawassa University Governance & Development Studies Students Association (HUGaDSSA) has organized a panel discussion under the theme "Navigating the complexity of modern International relations" on December 21, 2024 at Africa Union hall.

The Dean of College of Law & Governance, Dr. Debrework Debebe, stated in his opening speech that such a platform is very important to exchange culture, ideas and knowledge among scholars and to clarify confusions about international relations. He appreciated the students for organizing the event on a scholarly discussion and inviting international students to attend.

Feven Mekonnen, President of HUGaDSSA, also expressed her deepest gratitude for the CLG, the panelist academics, and her club members for making the panel discussion happen with their commitment and dedication.

The panelists, Dr. Emebet Bekele, Ass. Professor of English Language, Literature & Linguistics and Executive of Public & International Relations at HU; Mahteme Feleke, a Lecturer of International Relations, Political Science & Law at CLG; and Addis Zena, Ass. Professor of Sociology at CSSH, delved into the essence of international relations, the role of technology in contemporary IR, most pressing challenges of IR in the 21st century, and strategies of overcoming those challenges from different perspectives.

Chekolech Neshru, a lecturer at CLG facilitated the panel discussion, and students raised questions to the panelists and they explained different issues in the complex nature of international relations and cooperation.

A scholarship student from South Sudan and an exchange student from Germany shared their experiences in Hawassa University with the beauty of differences in culture, language and food beyond being away from home. They both attested to the kindness and hospitality of Ethiopians which made them feel at home away from home.

The dean of CLG and the PIR executive both wished international students at Hawassa university a very pleasant holiday season with the upcoming Christmas and new year, and the session was concluded by certification.

በሁሉም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የተማሪዎች የምግብ አቅርቦት በወጥነት እንዲከናወንና ከምግብ በጀት ተመን ማሻሻያው ጋር የተጣጣመ ስታንዳርድ የምግብ ሜኑ በማዘጋጀት እንዲጠቀሙበትና በአግባቡ ስራ ላይ መዋሉን ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ክትትል እንዲያደርግ በጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ ክና የካቢኔ ጉዳዮች ሚኒስትር አለምፀሐይ ጳውሎስ በቀን ህዳር 25/2017 ዓ.ም የተፈረመ ደብዳቤ ያሳያል።

ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ከዚህ ቀደም በቀን አንድ ተማሪ ቁርስ፣ ምሳ እና እራት ለመመገብ በመንግሥት የሚመድብላቸው 22 ብር በጀት ብቻ እንደነበር ይታወሳል።

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Ethiopia’s Integrated Youth Activity–Kefeta, is a five-year project, led by Amref Health Africa (Amref) and implemented by its consortium partners since August 2021. Integrating democracy and good governance, basic education, higher education, economic empowerment, and sexual reproductive health, Kefeta takes a comprehensive approach in advancing the economic and social opportunities for youth in Ethiopia.

One of the program components focuses on improving youth's skills and capacity development that are the key aspects for employability. To secure that first job as well as navigate in the labor market, young candidates need not only the technical skills to perform specific tasks but also core work skills like learning to learn, communication, problem-solving and teamwork. Along with good technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set of skills that they would prefer from an employee. These skills are what they believe will equip the employee to conduct their role to the best of their ability. 

Kefeta has designed the following employment relevant trainings for students:
1️⃣Work-habit (face-to-face/online)
2️⃣Life skills ( face-to-face/online  )
3️⃣Digital skills (online)
4️⃣Career Counseling (Embedded with work-habit and Life Skills)
5️⃣Entrepreneurship (Online)

This online registration form is developed to identify young people with strong interest to improve their employability skills.  In 2024/2025 financial year, the above listed trainings and/or counseling will only be provided for registered students. This registration form is applicable only for the 11 Universities and Polytechnic colleges working with Kefeta.

ለሁሉም የክላስ ተወካዮች (Representative) በሙሉ ነገ ማለትም አርብ ከቀኑ 9:30 በአፍሪካ አዳራሽ እንድትገኙ በጥብቅ እናሳስባለን፡፡

ማሳሰቢያ፡ተወካዮች መምጣት የማይችሉ ከሆነ ከክላስ ተወካይ ተማሪ መላክ አለባቸዉ ይህንን ማድረግ ሳይችሉ ቀርተዉ ለሚፈጠረዉ ነገር ሀላፊነቱን አንወስድም ፡፡
