Question:
I keep seeing my ex in my dream. I don't really think about him in day or before sleeping. But I continuously see him in my dream. We broke up about 4 years ago and after that we haven't met once. Why is this happening and what should I do?

Answer:
Try substituting his memories with the dhikr of Allah

Say this dua
Urwah ibn al-Zubayr reported: Aisha, may Allah have pleased with her, would say when she intended to sleep,
“O Allah, I ask you for good and true dreams, not false dreams, beneficial and not harmful.” When she said this, they knew that she would not say anything more until she awoke in the morning or in the middle of the night.

Why Is It ??

A husband is rude, abusive and bad tempered: the wife is told to have sabr and reminded what a good muslim wife does.

A wife is rude and bad tempered: the husband is told to find a more pious wife, she is told women don't act this way and her character slandered.

It is reported that a man came to 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab (R.A) to complain about his wife's ill-temper. While he was waiting for 'Umar to come out of his house, he heard 'Umar's wife scolding him and 'Umar quietly listening to her, and not answering her back. The man turned around and started walking away, muttering to himself: "If that is the case with 'Umar, the leader of the believers, who is famous for his uprighteness and toughness, then what about poor me?"

At that moment, 'Umar came out of his house and saw the man walking away. He called him and said, "What is it you want of me, O man?"

The man replied: "O leader of the believers, I came to complain to you about my wife's bad-temper and how she nags me. Then I heard your wife doing the same to you, so I turned around, muttering to myself, 'If that is the situation of the leader of the believers, then what about me?''

Umar replied, "O my brother, I bear with her because of her rights over me. She cooks my food, bakes my bread, washes my clothes, breast-feeds my child...and yet none of these are her duty; and then she is a comfort to my heart and keeps me away from forbidden deeds. Consequently, I bear with her."

The man said, "It is the same with me, O leader of the believers." 'Umar said: "Then, O my brother, be patient with her, indeed this life is short. (Adh-Dhahabi, Al-Kabâ'ir 194)

Questions:
If a woman was a widow , and then after some years she marries a guy , who will be the partner of the woman in Jannah? The one who died or the one she marries after? ( May Allah grant her, and her husband Jannah )

Answer:
This issue is divided into several opinions and scholars have differing opinions in determining this issue:

The wife will be with the husband of the best character on earth
The wife is given a choice
The wife will be with her last husband

All opinions have evidences mostly weak

Imam al-Suyuthi tried to harmonize all these narrations by stating that a woman (wife) will be with her last husband if all of her husband were men of good character. If this is not so, then the woman will choose the one with the best character. ( al-Jami’ al-Saghir, )

Better is to think that this is a matter from among the UNSEEN(GHAYB), so let's first enter the Jannah and then see there what happens

It is not from the Manhaj of the Salaf to take
knowledge from just anyone except after looking into his
condition (in relation) with the sunnah. As it was said:
"Indeed this knowledge is religion so look to whom you
take your religion from."

Do not take Knowledge except from one who is known to be upon the Sunnah

Imaam Muhammad bin Sireen (rahimahullaah) said:

“Verily, this knowledge is Religion. So look into (i.e. investigate) whom you take your Religion from.”

And he said: “They (the Sahaabah) did not used to ask concerning the isnaad (chain of narration), but when the fitnah occurred, they began saying: ‘Name your men for us.’ So the People of the Sunnah would be looked to and so their hadeeth would be accepted. And the People of Innovation would be looked to and so their hadeeth would not be accepted.”

So when one of these repentant individuals neglects these principles and guidelines, he becomes an open target for these misconceptions and he becomes a play object for many of those who (falsely) ascribe themselves to knowledge and Salafiyyah. So all it takes is for a person to claim knowledge or manifest his connection to the scholars from Ahlus-Sunnah, and you will find the repentant youth flocking around him, without thoroughly examining the reality of his condition and without looking into his history (i.e. background). But When he sees that his followers have become many and those who love him have become engrossed with him, he begins to reveal what he was concealing and what (way) he really inclined to. So now you see him calling to (holding) leadership in the field of Da’wah and pitching a tent for gathering everyone (i.e. regardless of beliefs). Or you see him doing other things that are in opposition to the principles of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah.

This is the point where the repentant individuals begin to become confused and divided into two or even three categories – those who agree, those who are against and those who are neutral. This confusion only comes about due to two things:

First: The repentant individual’s lack of devoting attention to beneficial knowledge, especially knowledge of the Fundamentals of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah, since Knowledge protects the one who has it from deviations.

Did you not see how knowledge protected Abu Bakrah (rady Alllaahu ‘anhu) in the Campaign of the Camel (Jamal),when the people put the Mother of the Believers, ‘Aa’ishah (rady Allaahu ‘anhaa) forth (for the campaign). So what protected Abu Bakrah (rady Allaahu anhu) was a hadeeth he heard from Allaah’s Messenger, who said when news reached him of the death of Kisraa and the appointment of his daughter (as the leader): “A people that leave their affairs to be governed by a woman will never prosper.”

So When the fitnah occurred, Abu Bakrah remembered this hadeeth and it protected him from that, such that he said: “Allaah protected me with something that I heard from the Messenger of Allaah When Kisraa died. He (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: Who did they put to succeed her?’ They said: ‘Her daughter.’ So he (sall Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘A people that leave their affairs to be governed by a woman Will never prosper.’ So when ‘Aa’ishah approached, i.e. Basrah, I remembered the statement of Allaah’s Messenger and so Allaah protected me by it.”

Second: A lack or returning to the People Of Knowledge, Since the most deserving to be asked are the People of Knowledge and their students from Ahlus-Sunnah wal- Jamaa’ah, those who have knowledge of this individual whom the people seek to study under. so this person Should be enquired into:

Is he from the Salafee students of knowledge or not?

And did he undergo valid educational studies, Such that he has the right to be sought knowledge from or no?

SO if the answer is in the negative, then the issue comes to an end, all praise be to Allaah. And if the answer is positive, then he can be Studied under and benefited from, but without going to extremes in that matter. Rather, he should be given his due place and status.

A woman becomes a reflection of how you treat her. If you don't like how she's acting, look at how you are treating her!

This profound truth resonates deeply, reminding us that relationships are a mirror of our actions. The way we treat others shapes their reality, influencing their emotions, behavior, and self-perception.

When you uplift and support her, she blossoms into her best self – confident, radiant, and full of life. Her smile brightens the room, and her laughter infects everyone around her. Her heart beats with purpose, and her soul shines with vibrancy.

But when you diminish and disrespect her, she withers away – her spark extinguished, her soul crushed. Her eyes lose their luster, and her voice becomes a whisper. Her spirit breaks, and her dreams fade.

The power lies in your hands. Your words, actions, and intentions create the environment she grows in. Nurture her with respect, empathy, kindness, and understanding. Be her rock, her safe haven, and her partner in every sense.

A woman's strength is forged in the fire of your love and support. Her resilience is tested by your consistency and care. Her heart beats for you, but your treatment determines its rhythm.

Treat her with love, respect, and kindness, and watch her thrive. Treat her with neglect, disrespect, or indifference, and watch her fade. The choice is yours.

Embracing this truth liberates both of you, fostering a relationship built on mutual respect, trust, and growth. Remember, a woman becomes a reflection of how you treat her. Treat her like the queen she is.

May Allah bless all our marriages. Ameen

🌹𝗠𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗯🌹

It took me 6 years to finally wear hijab. Culturally, not wearing one was acceptable and none of the women in my family wore one so I never had an example set for me from when I was younger.

I only became interested in hijab when I attended uni, funnily enough. I befriended practising sisters in my class and started to attend the ISOC where I became aware of more sisters from my background that seemed happy and comfortable to cover. This was inspiring to me and the more they told me about Islam and showed me kindness; the more I wanted to wear hijab.

Getting the confidence to wear one took so long because I was so insecure about my looks and thought I was so ugly without my hair showing. I know now this was a big lie from shaytaan.

I went from wearing a dangling pashmina on my head; to doing head wraps and turbans. I even wore hoodies just to get comfortable with having my head covered. You name it; i tried it. I know I looked ridiculous but it was my way of coming closer to Allaah and gaining more confidence with covering my hair.

In 2023 I went to Umrah for the first time and it was there I begged Allaah to make wearing the hijab easy for me. I left uni and vowed to commit to my prayers and no lie,  thats when doors started to open up for me.

On my return from umrah I was finally able to wear a head scarf which over time (about 4-5 months) turned into a khimaar and now I fully cover in niqab and gloves alhamdulillah.

There was a time I doubted myself and never thought I would get to where I am now in my imaan or wearing my hijab but by Allaah I made it.

I'd like to let any sister struggling to cover to know, your'e not alone. The journey can be long and rough but with lots of dua and sacrifice Allaah will make it easy.

To anyone looking down or doubting sisters who aren't properly covered. Make excuses for them. You don't know their struggle or how they are trying to get closer to Allaah. If anything make dua for them and show them kindness. You will be part of their journey towards righteousness.

We all have to start somewhere and the beauty is, even if your steps are small, they are big in the sight of Allaah.

Keep on your journey to hijab. Don't care about how you look or what people will say. If you're sincere Allaah will make a way and it will get easier.

🤲🏻 *Let your Duas embrace your hands in this special hour of the special day of Friday* 🤲🏻

➡️It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that The Messenger of Allah (Sall’Allahu alayhi wa Sallam ) said:

"_Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala ) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."_ (Sahih)

At times, we are forced to leave or stay in places that we may not want to. Yet, often, the place we are compelled to be offers the most spiritual growth.

We cannot always predict where growth will occur in our lives, but it often comes after struggle, especially if we use that struggle to draw closer to God. Sometimes, the move may seem detestable or uncomfortable, but Allah knows it is better for our heart and soul, even if the benefits are not immediately clear.

Moosa (as) was forced away from his mother and believing family. He was an infant, of course, and the decision was made for him - but little did his mother know, as she threw her son in the river in desperation to save him, that he would be safest in the palace of the very man who wanted him and his people dead. While it hurt her, she had to let him go and he was saved from murder, by God's will.

After going from a believing household to grow up in the palace of the disbelieving Pharaoh, he was forced to move again. Accidentally killing a man while defending another, he knew that he would be persecuted for that action instead of being given a fair trial.

So he fled, away from all that was familiar, and away from his loved ones. It must have been lonely, and scary.

But Allah gave him a family and a home in Madyan. He spent almost a decade there, learning what Allah wanted him to learn, until he received revelation. That period in his life was necessary for what was to come after.

So as you assess your situation, where you are, where you are going, and where you want to be, remember that it is in the place that is most unfamiliar and uncomfortable that you might find the growth you truly need - not just the one you want.

So even as you wonder why you are in one place and not another, try to see the wisdom of where Allah has placed you. Remember that He knows the unseen, and He wants what is best for this life and the next for you.

And perhaps that is the lesson - that Allah, the Most Merciful, the All Wise, is with us wherever we are. If we cannot love the place, surely we can love the One who put us there out of His infinite wisdom and mercy.

No woman is going to leave because you made a mistake. She left because you made it a habit. The truth is, she would have rather fixed things with you than start over with somebody new.

And she stuck around because she was hoping you would step up and be the man she deserves. But you thought she would never leave, and you got comfortable disrespecting her.

And look, now she's gone! Even the most loyal woman who fight to make it work will eventually get tired.♥️

We sin so easily yet when it comes to saying Astagfirullah throughout the day, it gets hard.

My brothers and sisters, remember to do your istighfar daily even if it tires you, even if you lose your focus while saying it because istighfar opens doors which have been closed, istigfar saves your from those very sins you heedlessly commit everyday, istighfar is a huge gift from our merciful Lord.

So use it, fill your heart with it and kill your nafs with it. May Allah forgive us all.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“The Qur’ān is an intercessor entitled with intercession (for its reciters) and it is an entrusted disputer (against those who neglect it), whoever places it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise and whoever puts it behind him, it will lead him to the Hellfire.”

So aim to make it part of your daily routine. In Sha Allah we will see how good it feels to make the Qur'ān a priority.

Remember it will only take a short time from your day but the rewards you will gain in this life and the next will be unimaginable.

Every minute will be well worth it and well spent. It can only bring good to this life and the next

You no longer need to make excuses to yourself or feel guilty about not reading the Qur'an regularly.

Imitation of the Kuffar - Dangerous !

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas   رضي الله عنه  as collected by Imam al-Bayhaqi with an authentic chain when he said:

“Whosoever lives in the lands of the mushrikin and celebrates their Nayrouz and festivals and keeps imitating them until he dies in that condition, will be resurrected with them on the Day of Resurrection.”

——

It’s surprising to see Muslims celebrating Diwali and bursting crackers—what’s the joy in this for us as Muslims?

Prophet ﷺ warned us about imitating other cultures in ways that stray from our own faith when he said,

"Whoever imitates a people is one of them." [Sunan Abu Dawood, 4031]

Diwali, Birthdays, Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines, and many others are other examples of impermissible celebrations.

Don't take your prayers lightly!

✏️ Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"The slave has two standings before Allâh:
one in prayer and the other on the Day he meets Him. Whoever fulfills the right of the first standing, the second will be made easier for him. But whoever takes the first standing lightly and does not fulfill its right, the second will be made difficult."

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the call for the prayer is pronounced, Satan takes to his heels, passing wind with noise, When the call for the prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the Iqama is pronounced, he again takes to his heels, and after its completion, he returns again to interfere between the (praying) person and his heart, saying to him. 'Remember this or that thing.' till the person forgets whether he has offered three or four rak`at: so if one forgets whether he has prayed three or four rak`at, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu (i.e. forgetfulness).

Seeking knowledge is one of the greatest acts of worship that Allah ‎ﷻ grants those he loves.

Sufyan Al Thawri رحمه الله said:

"There is nothing after the obligatory acts of worship than seeking knowledge”

And with every action of worship we are obliged to have the correct intentions and be free from Riya’ as Allah ‎ﷻ says:

وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ”

“even though they were only commanded to worship Allah ˹alone˺ with sincere devotion to Him in all uprightness..”

🔹Narrated Ibn Umar:

Umar got some property in Khaibar and he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him about it. The Prophet said to him, "If you wish you can give it in charity." So `Umar gave it in charity (i.e. as an endowment) the yield of which was to be used for the good of the poor, the needy, the kinsmen and the guests.

Hud 11:42

And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers."

Hud 11:43

[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allāh, except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.

"All of these things (plucking eyebrows/getting tattoos and so on) are things which the hadeeths testify that the one who does that is cursed and that they are major sins, but there is a difference of scholarly opinion as to the reason why they are forbidden. It was said that it is because they come under the heading of deception or that they come under the heading of altering the creation of Allaah, may He be exalted, as Ibn Mas‘ood said, and this is the more correct opinion…"
