Mário Pinheiro, a Visiting Professor at the Business School and the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism at Central Asian University, teaches courses related to the Project Management module. His academic work focuses on imparting practical knowledge and skills, drawing from his extensive international experience spanning over 20 years.

In addition to his academic role, Mário serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Central Asian Exhibition Center (CAEx Uzbekistan), one of the largest and most modern exhibition centers in Central Asia, proudly a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

From November 8-12, 41 teams from universities across the country gathered at CAU for 48 hours of intensive coding and problem-solving 🌍⌨️

Out of 41 teams, 15 successfully submitted projects, which were reviewed by local and international experts. On November 12, these teams presented their work to a CAU panel that included:

Dr. Minich has completed specialized training at prestigious institutions such as the University Hospital of Leipzig and the Martini Clinic in Hamburg. His qualifications include a PhD in medical sciences and participation in numerous international urology and oncology conferences. CAU Dental School Students Present Their Research in Istanbul, Turkiye 🎉🇹🇷

We are thrilled to announce that Fourth Year Dental School Student Zilola Kadirova and Third Year Dental School Student Inna Sim presented their research on "The Link Between Breastfeeding and Tooth Decay" and "Cheese Toothpaste" respectively at the Advanced Dentistry and Oral Health Conference 2024 held in Istanbul, Turkiye 🇹🇷

✨ Zilola's research highlighted that while breastfeeding offers numerous health benefits, prolonged and night-time breastfeeding may contribute to a higher risk of dental caries, also known as Nursing Bottle/Rampant Caries.

✨ Inna's research introduced a unique idea of cheese-flavored toothpaste, which doesn’t exist in the dental market. Her proposal received significant recognition among the scientific community in Turkiye, as this new flavor could lead to greater acceptance among children.

🏆 Inna Sim secured the First Prize among all presenters from Turkiye, UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and more for the most innovative research presentation!

As part of a strategic partnership, a delegation from Central Asian University (CAU), along with our founder Jahongir Artikhodjaev, visited China’s leading hospitals—Anzhen Hospital and Chaoyang Hospital—designed by CAMCE, a globally recognized leader in engineering. The CAU representatives explored innovative methods of constructing medical facilities, learned about current developments in China’s modern medical sector, and observed the implementation of advanced technologies, digitization, and the integration of artificial intelligence into medical practice.
