Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رَحِمَهُ الله said:

“‎If you see yourself deteriorate, pick yourself up by repenting and seeking Allāh’s forgiveness and by asking Him to keep you firm.

And don’t become careless, and neither say: “In sha Allāh, my eemaan will become stronger.' (without doing anything about it).

Instead from right now - from the moment you feel that you are ill - you must implement the cure.”

Two Things That Lead Most To Either Hellfire Or Paradise

From Abū Hurayrah Raḍi-Allāhu ‘Anhu who said: The Prophet Ṣallallāhu-‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “Do you know what is that makes most people enter Hellfire??!!”

They (the Companions) replied: “Allāh and His Messenger know best.”

He Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “The two empty ones: the GENITALS and the MOUTH and do you know what is that makes most people enter Paradise??, it is TAQWĀ OF ALLĀH and GOOD CHARACTER.”

THE MOST DIFFICULT 3 DAYS UPON MANKIND

Sufyān b. 'Uyaynah Raḥimahullāh said: the most loneliest time that the son of Adam will be in is 3 situations:

1. The day he is born and comes to the abode of stress and anxiety (i.e. The world).

2. The night he will sleep with the deceased, so he will live beside neighbors he has never seen the likes of (i.e. The grave).

3. The day he will be raised up (from the dead) and he will witness the likes of that which he never witnessed before (i.e. The Day of Judgement).

Allāh the Most High said to Yaḥya regarding these 3 situations:

"May peace and safety be upon him, the day he is born, the day he dies and the day he will be brought back to life"

Narrated Abu Qatada bin Rib'i Al-Ansari: A funeral procession passed by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who said,

"Relieved and relieving?" The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is relieved and relieving?" He said,

Do You Need Anything?

Have you noticed how your life becomes disturbed and difficult only when you disobey Him (‘Azza wajall)?!

Did you not know the story of one of the righteous predecessors who narrated that he saw a young man in the city of Beirut remembering Allāh, Most High, so he said to him, 'do you need anything?'

He replied: 'If I ever need something, I ask from my Lord in my heart and He will fulfill it for me.'

A Mother’s Du’a

Muhammad bin Ismail (al-Bukhari) — rahimahullah — lost his vision (went blind) when he was a little boy.

And his mother saw (the prophet) Ibrahim al-Khalil (alayhi salam) in a dream, and he said to her:

“Oh you! Allah has restored the eyesight of your son due to your excessive crying and (making) abundant du’aa (for him)”.

Then in the morning they woke up and Allah had restored his eyesight to him.
