Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaylī on Gaza Ceasefire

Since the bloody events in Gaza began, we have been praying for our people in Gaza and asking our Lord to grant success to Muslim rulers to end this war and to alleviate the suffering of our brothers. We thank Allāh for what we have heard of reconciliation, and we ask Allāh to actualise it.

The events of Gaza, from the beginning to the end, show every fair person that Ahl al-Sunnah have Fiqh (understanding) of the outcomes at the beginning of events, and Fiqh of the reality of matters at the end of events. This is unlike others, who do not have insight into the Fiqh of the outcomes at the beginning, nor do they have an understanding of the reality of matters at the end.

Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaylī (Ḥafiẓahullāh)

Since the appearance of the Khawārij in the history of Islām, they have not been satisfied with any of the Muslim rulers, starting with the two Rightly Guided Caliphs, ʿUthmān and ʿAlī (Allāh be pleased with them) and then those who came after them. They believe that they (i.e. the rulers) did not rule according to the Sharīʿah.

And they (i.e. the Khawārij) will not be satisfied with today’s ruler, no matter who he is, because their understanding of ruling according to the Sharīʿah is deviant and distorted. They are people of discord and division and carry weapons against those who disagree with their opinion.

You will hear them say: "We did not fight and strive for the establishment of this rule [that we have now]."
So beware, be careful.

Some beautiful manners of Islām

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

◽️Do not insult anyone
◽️Do not belittle any good deed
◽️Speak to your brother while you are cheerful and smiling at him, for that is an act of goodness
◽️Raise your garment to the middle of your shin, and if you refuse, then to the ankles. Beware of letting your garment fall below your ankles, for it is a sign of pride, and Allāh does not like pride.
◽️If someone reviles you and criticises you for what he knows about you, do not criticise him for what you know about him, for he will bear the evil consequences of it.

‎THE DUĀ TO BE SAID ON THE DAY OF ‘ARAFAH

The Prσphet ﷺ said: “The best σf supplicatiσn is the supplicatiσn σf the Day σf Arafah. And the best σf what I and the Prσphets befσre me have said is:

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ
وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Laa ilaaha iℓlaℓlaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo, lahul-Mulku wa lahul-Hamdu, wa Huwa alaa kulli shay’in Qadeer

Nσne has the right tσ be wσrshipped but Allāh, Alσne, withσut partner, tσ Him belσngs all that exists, and tσ Him belσngs the Praise, and He is pσwerful σver all things.

[Sunan al-Tirmīdhî (3585) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh Al-Albānī].
