The Jew & Christian who hears of the final Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam).

The great companion Abu Hurairah (radiAllahuanhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said

"By The One in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is there is nobody of this ummah (nation) be they Jews or Christians who hears of me and then dies without believing in what I was sent with except that he will be among the people of the Hellfire [Sahih Muslim].

Every human being since the advent of the final Messenger Muhammad Ibn Abdulllah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) who had heard of him and failed to accept him is threatened with the Hellfire. This is a very serious matter.

As Muslims it is our duty and responsibility to convey this message to them in the best way possible. If you fail to do so they could possibly hold you responsible in front of Allah. If you have a neighbor, co-worker who is not Muslim it is incumbent you convey this message. Remember you duty is to convey and not convince.

The Five Levels Of Prayer,
By Ibnul-Qayyim

Ibnul-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah Rahimahullaah said:

And mankind, with regard to their performance of prayer are in five levels:

The First: The level of the one who is negligent and wrongs his soul: He is the one who falls short in performing wudhoo (ablution) properly, performing the prayer upon its time and within its specified limits, and in fulfilling its essential pillars.

The Second: The one who guards his prayers upon their proper times and within their specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and performs his wudhoo with care. However, his striving (in achieving the above) is wasted due whisperings in his prayer so he is taken away by thoughts and ideas.

The Third: The one who guards his prayers within the specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and strives with himself to repel the whisperings, thoughts and ideas. He is busy struggling against his enemy (Shaytaanor Satan) so that he does not steal from the prayer. On account of this he is engaged in (both) prayer and jihaad.

The Fourth: The one who stands for the prayer, completes and perfects its due rights, its essential pillars, performs it within its specified limits and his heart becomes engrossed in safeguarding its rights and specified limits, so that nothing is wasted from it. His whole concern is directed towards its establishment, its completion and its perfection, as it should be. His heart is immersed in the prayer and in enslavement to his Lord the Exalted.

The Fifth: The one who stands for the prayer like the one mentioned above. However, on top of this, he has taken and placed his heart in front of his Lord Azzawajall, looking towards Him with his heart with anticipation, (his heart) filled with His love and His might, as if he sees and witnesses Allaah. The whisperings, thoughts and ideas have vanished and the coverings which are between him and his Lord are raised. What is between this person and others with respect to the prayer, is superior and greater than what is between the heavens and the earth. This person is busy with his Lord Azzawajall, delighted with Him.

The First type will be punished, the second type will be held to account, the third will have his sins and shortcomings expiated, the fourth will be rewarded and the fifth will be close to his Lord, because he will receive the portion of the one who makes his prayer the delight and pleasure of his eye.

Whoever makes his prayer, the delight and pleasure of his eye, will have the nearness to his Lord Azzawajall made the delight and pleasure of his eye in the hereafter. He will also be made a pleasure to the eye in this world since whoever makes Allaah the pleasure of his eye in this world, every other eye will become delighted and pleased with him.

When you complain, 'Why me?', remember the hardships of Ayyub peace be upon him, who endured 18 years of illness.

Prophet peace be upon him said:

إن نبي الله أيوب صلى الله عليه وسلم لبث به بلاؤه ثمان عشرة سنة فرفضه القريب والبعيد إلا رجلين من إخوانه كانا يغدوان إليه ويروحان..

"Verily, the Prophet of Allah, Ayyub peace be upon him, suffered from his illness for eighteen years, and he was rejected by his close and distant relatives, except for two men from his brothers who would visit him morning and evening. ( then the hadith states, even one of the brothers who used to visit him thought negatively that Ayyub aleh salam did a great sin due to that he is in affliction but in reality it was not like that)"

(Narrated by Abu Ya'la in his "Musnad" (176/1-177/1) and by Abu Nu'aym in his "Hilyah" (3/374-375)" Authenticated by Shaykh al Albani in al Saheeha no. 17)

P.s According to the latter part of the hadith, after 18 years, Ayyub peace be upon him, recovered and became strong and handsome, to the extent that even his own wife struggled to recognize him due to his transformed appearance.

One of the verses in the Qur’ān that humbles and frightens me deeply is where Allāh says: “Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?”

(Sūrah Al-Baqarah, 2:44).

This verse is a reminder for anyone who calls others to good to first ensure they are acting upon what they preach. It is a warning against neglecting one’s own soul while guiding others.

There’s a saying, “Don’t just talk about it, be about it.” If you share reminders, advise others, or try to help people improve, make sure you are also working on yourself. Start with yourself, and never stop striving. One of Shaytan’s tricks is to make us complacent, whispering, “You already know this,” while keeping us from acting on that knowledge. But knowledge without action is not beneficial; it may become a burden, even a proof against us on the Day of Judgment. Na’ūdhubiLlāh!

This thought terrifies me. That’s why when people say, “May Allāh make this a hujjah for you, not against you,” it hits me so deeply. How frightening it is to imagine knowing the truth, recognizing its importance, and yet failing to embody it. What excuse would we have before Allāh for not acting upon what we knew?

I think of the Sahabah, who would not move on to another set of 10 verses of the Qur’ān until they had acted upon what they learned. They embodied the balance of learning and applying, living the Qur’ān in their actions. Compare this to our constant consumption of reminders today (quick lectures, videos, posts) without pause for reflection or action.

It has also become so easy to advise others, sharing tips and reminders without sincerely asking, “Am I doing these things myself?”

So this is a reminder, first and foremost to myself: don’t just speak about it; be about it. Preach, yes, but practice even more.

Let the knowledge you share transform your actions, your speech, and your manners. May Allāh protect us from being among those who neglect their own souls while reminding others, and may He grant us the sincerity to practice what we preach.

THE STARS HAVE NOT CONTROL OVER ANYTHING

Imaam Barbahaaree rahimahullaah said:

Look into the stars sparingly, just enough to help you to know the times of the prayer. And turn away from whatever besides that, since it invites to apostasy

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani: The Prophet (ﷺ) led us in the Fajr prayer at Hudaibiya after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he faced the people and said,

“Do you know what your Lord has said (revealed)?” The people replied, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” He said, “Allah has said,

‘In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and some became non-believers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allah had belief in Me and he disbelieves in the stars, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me but believes in that star.’ “

[Al-Bukhari] [Muhsin Khan’s Translation]

Qatadah (radi Allaahu anhu) said,

“These stars were only created for three purposes: Allah created them as adornment for the heaven (sky), as missiles for the devils and as signs for navigation. Therefore, whoever seeks to interpret any other meanings for them other than these, then verily he has spoken with his own opinion, he has lost his portion and burdened himself with that which he has no knowledge of.”

Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim both recorded this statement.

Ibn Al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) described Allah’s Greatness, saying…

He governs the affairs of the various kingdoms and He commands and forbids, creates, sustains, gives death, gives life, gives power, strips power (to and from whom He wills) and alternates the night and day.

He gives varying fortunes to people and alternates governments (and states), destroying some and bringing some into existence.

His Command and Power are dominant in the heavens and their zones, the earth and all that which is on and in it, in the seas and in the air.

His Knowledge has encompassed everything and He counted everything. He hears all types of voices and they do not confuse Him. Rather, He hears each voice in its distinct language and need, and no voice will make Him busy from fulfilling the need of another, and no need will ever escape His Perfect Knowledge (and His Power to deliver).

He does not become bored because of the many needs of those who need. His Sight encompasses all that which there is. He sees the movement of a black ant on a barren rock during a dark night.

To Him, the Unseen is uncovered end the secret is secret no more,

“Whosoever is in the heavens and on Earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring Forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to (some, death to some, etc.).” [Sūrah ar-Raḥmān, Verse 29]

He forgives an evil deed, makes depression vanish and brings reprieve from disasters, relief for whoever needs it, wealth for the poor, guidance for the misguided, light for the lost, help for he who is desperate, fullness for the hungry, cover for the barely clothed, cure for the ill and ease for he who suffers.

He accepts he who repents, gives reward for he who does good, gives aid for he who was dealt with injustice, destroys an arrogant person, covers mistakes, gives safety after fear end elevates some people and humiliates others.

If those who inhabit His heavens and His earth and all those whom He created, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the most pious heart, His Kingdom will not increase. If all His creation, whether mankind or the Jinns, had hearts similar to the heart of the most wicked heart, this will not decrease from His Kingdom. Also, if all those who inhabit His heavens and His earth, all mankind and all the Jinns, the dead and the living, stand up on one strip of land and each asks Him for his need, and He then fulfils their needs, this will not decrease from what He has a bit.

He is the First, nothing is before Him, the Last, nothing is after Him, the Most High, nothing is above Him, and the Most Near, nothing is nearer than Him. He, Exalted and Ever High as He is, is the Best Whom one can and should remember, the only One Who deserves to be worshiped and thanked, the Kindest of all those who own and the Most generous of all those who are asked to give.

He is the King Who has no partner, the One Who has no competitor, the Samad (Self-Sufficient) Who has no offspring, and the Ever High, none like unto Him. Everything perishes save His Face and every kingship is bound to perish except His.

He will only be obeyed by His Leave, and His Knowledge uncovers all disobedience to Him. When He is obeyed, He thanks for it, and when He is disobeyed, He grants forgiveness (for those who truly repent to Him). Every punishment from Him is just and every bounty is a grace. He is the Closest Witness and the Nearest One with His Perfect Care. He controls the forelocks of everything and has the full records of all deeds end the books of all ages. The hearts are unmasked to Him and the secret is unveiled. His giving and punishing is merely a Command, “Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, ‘Be, and it is!’” [Sūrah Yāʾ Sīn, Verse 82].

The story of Prophet Yusuf عليه السلام teaches us a profound lesson in destiny (Qadr).

Betrayed by his brothers, sold as a slave, and unjustly imprisoned—each trial was a stepping stone in his journey to becoming Egypt’s treasurer.

Imagine if his life had taken a different course, without these hardships.

Would he have been positioned to save Egypt from famine and reunite his family?

Every trial, while painful, was crafted by Allāh سبحانه و تعالى for a greater purpose only He could see.

Next time you face a setback, remember that you may be exactly where you need to be for a future that’s yet unseen.

Towards the end of his life, Prophet Yusuf عليه السلام reflected, “He was truly kind to me when He freed me from prison, and brought you all from the desert after Satan had ignited rivalry between me and my siblings. Indeed my Lord is subtle in fulfilling what He wills. Surely He ˹alone˺ is the All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (Qur’an 12:100).

Key takeaways from this verse:

1 - Instead of blaming his siblings for what happened, he attributed their mistake to being an influence from Satan.

2 - He understood that Allāh works in ways that we can never understand and that He fulfils our wishes in subtle ways.

After everything he’d been through, Yusuf عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ was grateful to his Lord!

Be kind, always. You never know the silent battles someone is fighting or the weight they're carrying. A careless word or thoughtless action can linger in someone's mind far longer than you'd imagine. Choose kindness because your words and actions matter-they have the power to lift someone up or push them down. Don't be the reason someone skips a meal, dreads waking up, or feels like they don't belong. Instead, be the reason they smile, feel seen, and believe in the goodness of people again. Kindness costs nothing but means everything. Make it your legacy. 🫀

Giving Charity on Fridays

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

Giving charity on Friday has a special merit compared to other days,

just as giving charity during the month of Ramadan has a higher merit compared to the rest of the year.

I witnessed Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله when he would go out for Jumuaah,

he would take whatever he found at home—be it bread or anything else—and give it as charity in secret on his way.

I heard him say:

“If Allāh commanded us to give charity before consulting with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ (58:12), then giving charity before consulting with Allāh is even more virtuous and deserving of merit”

[Zaad al-Maad, 1/399]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

Whoever wishes to attain the levels of the strangers, let him bear with patience the harm he will meet from his parents, his wife, his brothers and relatives.

If one were to ask, how can they harm me seeing as I am beloved to them and they to me?

It was said in reply:

You have opposed them in their love of this world and their great desire for it. They, in order to attain this world, do not care what they lose of their religion; if you follow them in this, they will love you; if you oppose them and instead traverse the path to the Hereafter by following the truth, they will behave coarsely towards you.

Your parents will be pained and angry at your actions, your wife will vexed at you and seek separation, and your brothers and relatives will rarely meet you.

You will be, amongst them, saddened and disturbed, and it is then that you will look at yourself with the eye of a stranger and you will understand the circumstances of all strangers like yourself, you will feel isolated from your brothers and relatives, and you will find yourself alone traversing the path to Allah.

Be patient for just a few days, bear the ignominy of this world for a few minutes, partake scarcely of this lowly life, you will find that this leads you to the Abode of well-being, its land is pure, its gardens resplendent, its fruits bountiful and its rivers sweet; therein will you have all the soul desires and all the eye takes delight in, therein will you abide for eternity.

Which of the Favours of Your Lord will you Deny?

Ibn al-Dunya mentioned that the Prophet Dawud (Alayhis-Salaam) asked Allaah; "What is the least of your blessings?.”Allaah revealed to him, "O Dawud, take a breath." Dawud did so, and Allaah told him: "That is the least of My Blessings on you.”
[Extracted from the book 'Patience and Gratitude' by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah]

In the quest of fulfilling our desires, are we overlooking and taking for granted the little blessings and favours in our life like security, fresh air, food, clean water, and good health!

Didn't the Messenger of Allaah said: "Whoever among you wakes up in the morning secured in his dwelling, healthy in his body, having his food for the day, then it is as if the world has been gathered for him." [Sahih al-Jami]

Shouldn't you reflect upon this verse,
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
“Which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?
[Surat Ar-Rahman (55:13)]

'Knowing A Person'

A man bore witness to ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab so ‘Umar said to him: “I do not know you, but it does not matter that I do not know you. Bring me someone who does know you.”

A man among the peole said: “I know him.” ‘Umar asked: “What do you know about him?” He said: “He is of good character and is virtuous.”

‘Umar asked: “Is he your neighbour who you know by night and by day, and you know when he comes in and goes out?” The man said: “No.”

‘Umar asked: “Did h have any financial dealings with you which is the way to know whether he is God-fearing or not?” The man said: “No.”

‘Umar then asked: “Has he been your companion on a journey (safar), which is the best way to know whether he is of noble character and attitude?” The man said: “No.”

So ‘Umar said: “Then you DON'T KNOW HIM.”

The Sunnah Of Fajr

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

'Ā'ishah has been reported to have said: ❝The Prophet (ﷺ) did not take care of any voluntary act of worship the way he took care of the two prayer units of Fajr.❞ (al-Bukhārī, 1169, Muslim, 724, 94 (repeated).

In another report of his (725, 97): ❝They are more beloved to me than the whole world."❞

Trust in Allah. You may be in a lot of pain right now and going through many hardships, but hold on to Him, be patient, and remain grateful to Allah. Be optimistic and remember His promises.
-Al Mar-atus Saliha

Allah promises ease after hardship: "For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease." (Qur'an 94:6)

He assures us that He will not burden a soul beyond its capacity: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear..." (Qur'an 2:286)

He also promises that those who are patient will receive a great reward: "Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account." (Qur'an 39:10)

The complain of Hell:

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “In very hot weather delay the Dhuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allaah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold.” [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (536, 537, 3260) and Saheeh Muslim (617)]

It is said that the breath in the summer is “exhaling” and in the winter is “inhaling”

Ibn Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) said:

Whoever has a sound heart, ALLAH grants him an insight (by which) he realises sin. To the point, he isn’t at ease nor relaxed with it. This is from the blessings of ALLAH upon mankind.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

Count (Dhikr) on your fingers, for they (the fingers) will be questioned and asked to speak (on the day of judgement).
