🖊️ The esteemed scholar, the hadith expert, Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi’i, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

الَّذِي أَنْصَحُ بِهِ نَفْسِي وَكُلَّ أَحَدٍ أَنْ يُشْغِلَ نَفْسَهُ بِالْعِلْمِ، وَهُمُومُ الدُّنْيَا لَيْسَ لَهَا نِهَايَةٌ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تَشْتَغِلُوا بِمَشَاكِلِ الْحَيَاةِ، لَوِ اشْتَغَلْنَا بِهَا لَمَا اسْتَطَعْنَا أَنْ نَطْلُبَ عِلْمًا.

“What I advise myself and everyone else is to occupy oneself with knowledge. The concerns of this world have no end. Beware of being preoccupied with the problems of life. If we were to busy ourselves with them, we would not be able to seek knowledge.”

• We believe in the affirmation or the establishment of everything that Allah ﷺ has affirmed for Himself or everything that His Messenger Muhammad has affirmed for Allah from the names & attributes, however we need to stay away from two great prohibitions when it comes to this issue of the names and attributes: At- Tamtheel- making resemblances and At- Takyeef giving descriptions.

• Scholars prefer using the term "Tamtheel" (making resemblances) over "Tashbih" (comparison)...

• Definition of takyeef.

•Diff between tamtheel and takyeef.
