"Say:" O my servants, don't despair from Allah's grace. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, he is the most almighty for mercy. And come back to your Lord, and surrender to Him before coming the punishment to you then you cannot be helped (again)."
(Surah Az Zumar: 53-54).

يَآايُّهَا النَّاسُ تُوْبُوْا إِلَى اللهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوْهُ فَإِنِّي أَتُوْبُ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ.

"Hi, all of them (humans ) Repentance is you to Allah and ask for forgiveness to Him, because in fact I repeat God in a day as many as a hundred times a day"
(HR. Muslim)

Terms of Repentance ...

🍂 1. AN-NADAM (regret for the sins that have been committed).

🍂 2. AL-IQLA (leaving all the act of sin that has been committed).

🍂 3. AL-AZM (determined will not return to committing sins).

🔥 If the sin is related to the rights of fellow human beings, then it must be equipped with the 4th requirement that is asking for halal and fulfilling their rights (if there is property taken asking for returned or removed).

May Allah ﷻ bow our hearts to always repent and return to the way of Allah ﷻ ..So that we return to him in a clean state, aamiin ...

The ancient Roman ceremony was finally changed to the day of the church celebration with the name Saint Valentine's Day at the initiative of Pope Gelasius I .So the Valentine event became a ritual of the Christian religion whose warnings were changed to February 14, to coincide with the death of St. Valentine.

If the Muslims also celebrate it means that they have imitated the culture of infidels. From Ibn ‘Umar, Prophet sallallaahu‘ alayhi wa sallam said,

"Whoever resembles a people, so he is part of them." (HR. Ahmad)

It is very clear that the warning above is that a Muslim should not participate in enlivening the celebration of Valentine's Day in any form.

You will find that God gives a reply to those who are patient with a better reply than his charity and multiply it. His Word.

وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

"And, in fact we will give a reply to people who are patient with a reward that is better than what they do". [An-Nahl: 96]

إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

"Surely only people are patient who are sufficient for their rewards without limits". [Az-Zumar: 10]

From Shuhaib, he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

عَجَبًا لأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لأَحَدٍ إِلاَّ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ

"It's amazing that a believer. All of the business is good. This is not found except in a believer. If you get pleasure, then he is grateful. That's good for him. If you get a hard time, then he is patient. That is also good for him. "
(HR. Muslim, no. 2999)

Two conditions in the acceptance of the practice in the sight of Allah]

🎙 Shaykh Dr. Maher Al-Mu'aiqly Hafizhahullahu Ta'ala, Imam and Khotib Mosque of Haram Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The requirements in the acceptance of worship in the sight of Allah are:

1. Tauhid to Allah Ta'ala (sincere), and does not shirk him in the slightest.
2.Mutaba'ah: Following the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ.

Allah Ta'ala said:

‎فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا

"So whoever hopes for a meeting with his Lord, then he should do the righteous deeds and do not be associated with something even in worshiping his Lord." (Surah Al-Kahf 18: verse 110)

- Doing righteous deeds that means the practice in accordance with what is taught by the Prophet ﷺ (ittiba ').
- Do not be associated with something even in worship to his Lord, meaning sincere in worship only for God alone.

🕌 Prayer Five Times Can Erase Sin

One of the great fruits (reward) of prayer is that the prayer is the cause of the sins of being forgiven and the removal of our mistakes. But it is very unfortunate, although there is this virtue, many of them claim that Muslims leave the five daily prayers easily and underestimate it.

نَّ رَجُلاً أَصَابَ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ قُبْلَةً ، فَأَتَى النَّبِىَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – فَأَخْبَرَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ( أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ طَرَفَىِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ ) . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِى هَذَا قَالَ لِجَمِيعِ أُمَّتِى كُلِّهِمْ

"There is someone who deliberately kisses a woman (non-mahram who is not lawful for him), then he goes to the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alayhi wa sallam and tells about what he did. Then the word of Allah Ta'ala (which means), "and establish prayer on both the edges of the afternoon (morning and evening) and at some time the beginning of the night." (Surah Hud: 114).

The man then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is the forgiveness of such sins only specifically for me?" He said, "For all my people."
(HR. Bukhari no. 526 and Muslim no. 2763)

From Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said ;

الصَّلاَةُ الْخَمْسُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا لَمْ تُغْشَ الْكَبَائِرُ

"Among the five daily prayers, between Friday one and the following Friday is an eraser of sin between all of that as long as there is no big sin".
(HR. Muslim no. 233)

From ‘Uthman bin‘ Affan, he said that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said,

مَا مِنِ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَحْضُرُهُ صَلاَةٌ مَكْتُوبَةٌ فَيُحْسِنُ وُضُوءَهَا وَخُشُوعَهَا وَرُكُوعَهَا إِلاَّ كَانَتْ كَفَّارَةً لِمَا قَبْلَهَا مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ كَبِيرَةً وَذَلِكَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ

"There is not a Muslim when the time of prayer is obligatory, then he perfects his ablution, he is solemn" in his prayer, and perfecting the ruku ', then it becomes an eraser of previous sins, as long as the big sins have been committed, and that (repeated) every time. "
(HR. Muslim no. 228)

said Shaykh Salim bin ‘Ied Al Hilali," Prayers that eliminate sin are perfectly fulfilled by presenting hearts, members of the body solemnly, and expecting the face of Allah."
(Bahjatun Nazhirin, 2: 234).

As for the sin that is forgiven with the practice of prayer, what are the big sins or small sins? The scholars disagree in this matter. Jumhur Ulama considers that the hadith is understood that is only a small sin. Whereas Ibn Taimiyah argues that even big sins can be forgiven, so it's not just a small sin. (Majmu 'Al Fatawa, Ibnu Taimiyah, 7: 487-501)

Calmness belongs to The Person Who Believers

Calmness is the gift of Allah that is only given to those who believe. About this, Allah said:

"He is the one who has lowering peace into the hearts of the believers so that their faith increases in addition to their faith (which has existed). And belonging to Allah is the soldier of heaven and earth and is Allah All-Knowing Most Wise."
(Surah Al Fath [48]: 4)

Shaykh Abdurrahman As-Si'dy Rahimahullah said, "Allah reported about His gifts of those who believed by being passed down to their hearts.
He is calm and determination in conditions crushed by trials and difficulties that shake the heart, disturb the mind and weaken the soul.
So among Allah's blessings for those who believe in this situation, Allah confirms and strengthens their hearts, so that they can always face this condition with a calm soul and a firm heart.

So that they are still able to fulfill Allah's commands in difficult conditions like this too.
So increasing their faith, the more complete their determination. "
(Tafsir Al Karim: 791)

ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

"Then Allah sent down peace to His Apostles and to those who believe."
(Surah Al Taubah [9]: 26)

لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا

"Indeed, Allah has been pleased with the believers when they promise faithful to you under a tree, then Allah knows what is in their hearts and then lowering their calm and rewarded them with a close victory (time)."
(QS ..Al Fath [48]: 18)

• Being ungrateful: When we fail to show gratitude to Allah for the many blessings He has granted us, such as our health, family, and sustenance, it displeases Him. "If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe" (Qur'an 14:7)

• Lying: Allah is displeased with lying, including small or trivial lies, as He has commanded us to always speak the truth. "Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man keeps on telling the truth until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person." (Sahih al-Bukhari)

• Backbiting: Speaking negatively about others in their absence or exposing their faults, is a major sin that angers Allah. "And do not backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it." (Qur'an 49:12)

5. Understand that wealth is not the end goal and just a means to earn more good deeds. So even after all your attempts you fail then know that it's what's best for you to enter Jannah.

6. Spend in Allah's way when you don't have. Everyone spends when they have. Remember Allah sees and knows everything you do.

7. Give up sins. Sins are one of the major reasons why there is no barakah in your wealth.

Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) narrated:

It is reported that in Egypt, there was a man who would maintain the mosques, making the call to prayer, etc. He was, by all outward means, an obedient person and devout worshipper.

One day, as he usually would, he ascended the minaret to make the call to prayer. At the base of the minaret, _there was a Christian woman standing. He saw her, and was seduced by her looks._ So, he descended the minaret, went to her, and entered her home. She said to him: *“Who are you, and what do you want?”*

He replied: “I want you.”

She said: “Why?”

He said: “You have enslaved my eyes, and you have captured my heart.”

She said: “I will never answer your desire in a doubtful or suspicious manner.”

He said: “Ok, so, I will marry you, then.”

She said: “You are a Muslim, and I am a Christian. My father will never allow me to marry you.”

He said: “So, I will become a Christian.”

She said: “If you wish to do so, go ahead.“

So, the man became a Christian in order to marry this woman, and lived with the woman’s family in her house. Later on that day, however, he was on the roof of the house. He fell from the roof and died without even having enjoyed his new bride. *So, he lost the woman, and he lost his religion.”*

If there was a corpse that was resurrected and told the world's population about the pain of death, surely world residents would not be comfortable with their lives and not soundly in their sleep ".

🔸1. Perfect ablution (according to sunnah).

🔸3. There is no special reading when praying. You can read Al-Fatihah then read whatever letter you memorize.

🔸4. trying to be diligent (Khusyu') in his prayers, because he remembered the sin he had just committed.

🔸5. Make istighfar and ask Allah for forgiveness after prayer.

🔸6. There is no special istighfar reading for the prayer of repentance (shalaah Taubah). The istighfar reading is the same as other istighfar reading, for example: Astaghfirullah wa atuubu ilaih ...

🔸7. The essence of the repentance prayer (Shalaah Taubah) is to ask for forgiveness to Allah, with regretting the act of the sin he has committed and determined not to repeat it.

How beautiful the dawn time

(١) فريضته تجعلك في ذمة الله

The fardhunya prayer makes you under God's protection

(٢) وسنته خير من الدنيا وما فيها

The sunnah prayer is better than the world and everything in it

(٣) وقرآنه ان قرآن الفجر كان مشهودا

Reading the Qur'an (during the Fajr prayer), then actually reading it when the dawn was witnessed (angels)

NOTES :

1). Prophet _shalallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam_ said,

«مَن صَلَّى الصُّبحَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللَّهِ»

"Who is doing the Fajr prayer, he is in God's protection."
(_Hadith Muslim_).

2). Prophet _shalallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam_ said,

«ركعتا الفجر خير من الدنيا وما فيها»

"Sunnah (sunnah) two rak'ahs at dawn are better than the world and everything. "(_Hadith Muslim_)

3.) Allah _Azza wa jalla_ said,

_"Perform prayers since the sun slipped until the darkness of the night and (also perform the dawn prayer. Indeed, the morning prayer is witnessed (by angels)."_ ( _QS. Al-Isra':_ 78)

Shaykh Abdurrahman as-Si'di _rahimahullah_ said that the words *قرآن الفجر* mean *dawn prayer*. He said,

وسميت قرآنا، لمشروعية إطالة القرآن فيها أطول من غيرها، ولفضل القراءة فيها حيث شهدها الله، وملائكة الليل وملائكة والنهار.

(Fajr prayer in this verse) is called the Qur'an because it is prescribed to lengthen the reading of the Qur'an at that time is longer than other times. Also there is the virtue of reading at that time because it was witnessed by God and also witnessed by the night and day angels.

DIFFERENCE OF PROBLEM SHARING AND CONSULTATION

Problem Sharing often only aims to express feelings without looking for a solution, while consultation is the process of seeking advice or answers from people who are experts in their field regarding certain problems.

In the case of a household, problem sharing to one's heart to an incompetent party can actually worsen the situation, even triggering regrettable decisions, such as divorce.

On the other hand, wise consultation with an expert, such as a religious teacher for religious problems or a doctor for health problems, will provide appropriate and useful solutions.

Allah ﷻ says:

فَسْـَٔلُوْٓا اَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَۙ

“.... So, ask people who have knowledge if you don't know." (QS An-Naḥl [16]: 43).

Use the right time and place to discuss problems, so that the solutions obtained are truly appropriate and beneficial. May Allah ﷻ guide us to be wise in solving life's problems.

From the noble friends Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhuma, the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said,

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غمٍّ، حتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلاَّ كفَّرَ اللهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ
"No Muslim will be struck by fatigue, pain, distress, sadness, annoyance, depression, until he is even hit by a thorn, unless Allah will wipe away his sins for the reason that befell him."

💐 A MAN WHO DIED BY FII SABILILLAH

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

"There are three types of people who are killed:

(A). a believer who fights Jihad with his soul and property in the Path of Allah, so that when he "FACES" the Enemy, he attacks them until he is "killed". So that is a martyr who is cleansed in Allah's Heaven under His Throne. The Prophets did not surpass him, except with the GIFT OF PROPHETIC DEGREE.

(B). A person who is worried about himself because of his sins and mistakes, he 'jihad' with his soul and property in the way of Allah, so that if he encounters an enemy, he 'attacks' them until he is killed. then it is the "Cleanser" who washes away the sins, and also the mistakes.

Indeed, the sword "wipes away" sins, and he is "ENTERED" from whichever DOOR OF HEAVEN he wishes. In fact, 'Heaven' has 8 doors, and Hell has 7 doors and some doors are more important than others.

(C). A hypocrite who strives with his soul and property. so that when he has faced an enemy he fights in the way of Allah until he is killed, but he is in Hell, because indeed the 'sword' does not erase the sin of hypocrisy."

From Abdullah bin Mas'ud radhiallahu'anhu, from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi Wasallam he used to pray:

In this prayer, Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi Wasallam teaches us to ask for 4 things, namely:

Al Hudaa (hint/guide)
At Tuqaa (piety)
Al 'Afaaf (awakeness)
Al Ghina (wealth)

Thus, if we summarize the explanations above, the 4 things requested in this prayer are:

1. Al Hudaa, namely perfect guidance from Allah to walk the straight path

2. At Tuqaa, namely complete devotion to all things, in carrying out religious commands and avoiding what is prohibited in religion

3. Al 'Afaaf, namely staying awake from doing things that are prohibited by religion and things that are not halal, so that our hearts and souls become pious

4. al Ghina, namely the wealth of the heart, so that you don't feel dependent and hope too much for what is in human hands, but rather depend and hope for what is in God's hands

Life is full of tests, anyone who lives will definitely have problems because part of living in the world of Allah gives them problems, whether they are Muslims, infidels, rich and poor, officials and non-officials, therefore
Allah سبحانه و تعالى says in Surah Thaha Verse 117

فَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰٓ

meaning: So We said: "O Adam, indeed this (the devil) is an enemy to you and to your wife, so never let him take you both out of paradise, causing harm to you.

Allah explained that the descent of Prophet Adam from Heaven to the world was a test. in Heaven all pleasures will be collected and jealousy will be removed from my heart, as He says in Surah Al-A'raf Verse 43

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى هَدَىٰنَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِىَ لَوْلَآ أَنْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ ۖ لَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَنُودُوٓا۟ أَن تِلْكُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Meaning: And We removed all kinds of grudges that were in their chests; rivers flowed beneath them and they said: "Praise be to Allah who has guided us to this (heaven). And we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Verily, the messengers of our Lord have come, bringing the truth." And it was said to them: "This is Paradise which has been bequeathed to you, because of what you used to do."

People are muflihun (=successful) when living in the world if they fulfill 2 criteria;

1. get what you want, in reality there are always obstacles filled with anxiety and fear
2. Avoid potential dangers that are feared

At the same time, when facing many tests, humans have limitations. If you think about this too much, it will become a mental burden, causing stress and mental disorders. From this condition, Islam teaches an attitude of resignation, so that it surrenders all matters to Allah Almighty who manages all things.

tawakal means putting down the burdens of life that you cannot bear alone (and handing them over to Allah), because humans have 2 elements, namely physical & soul, essentially tawakal is a gift so that humans will be more calm in facing their lives.

Requirements for a person who trusts must have faith, because they must believe in God's promises

وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمْرِهِۦ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدْرًا

meaning: And gave him sustenance from a direction he did not expect. And whoever puts his trust in Allah will surely fulfill his (needs). Indeed, Allah carries out the affairs that He (wills). Indeed, Allah has made provisions for everything.
[At-Talaq Verse 3]

🍂" PRAYER WHEN YOU HAVE DIFFICULTIES FOR RIZKI

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَمْلِكُهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

“Allaahumma innii as-aluka min fadhlika wa rohmatik, fa-innahu laa yamlikuhaa illaa anta.”

"O Allah, I ask You for additional Your bounty and Your mercy, because indeed no one has it except You."([1])

The origin of this prayer is the story where the Prophet had guests but he did not have anything to be able to entertain his guests. This is as narrated by Ibn Masúd radhiallahu ánhu, he said:

ضَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ يَبْتَغِي عِنْدَهُنَّ طَعَامًا، فَلَمْ يَجِدْ عِنْدَ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ، فَقَالَ: «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ» ، فَأُهْدِيَتْ إِلَيْهِ شَاةٌ مَصْلِيَّةٌ، فَقَالَ: «هَذِهِ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللهِ، وَنَحْنُ نَنْتَظِرُ الرَّحْمَةَ»

The Prophet sallallaahu álaihi wasallam had guests, so the Prophet sent messengers to his wives to look for food. However, it turned out that none of his wives had any food at all. So the Prophet prayed "O Allah, I ask You for additional Your bounty and Your mercy, because indeed no one has it except You." Then the Prophet received a gift of a roast goat. So the Prophet said, "This is among the gifts of Allah, and we are waiting for His mercy."

Remember that the conditions for repentance explained by the scholars as quoted by Ibn Kathir Rahimullah, "Avoiding sins for now. Regret past sins. determined not to do it again in the future. Then if the sin is related to the rights of fellow human beings, then he must resolve it/return it." (Tafsir Al Qur'an Al 'Azhim, 14:61)

Shaykh Bin Baz Rahimahullah said:

"It could be that death is near while you are still careless, there are many people who don't find afternoon time in the morning, still in the afternoon but don't find morning time, there are those who sleep and don't wake up. an intelligent and brilliant person will always be prepared and careful and prepare for the afterlife"

The Different Types of Hearts

Types of Hearts

There are three main types of hearts:

1 - A Sound & Healthy Heart:

A sound and healthy heart is that which is attached to Allāh alone. A person with a true and sincere heart will:
• Rely, love and hope in Allāh.
• Forgive people for the sake of Allāh.
• Control anger and desires for the sake of Allāh.
• Be humble and kind with parents, spouse, friends, children for the sake of Allāh.
• And all other praiseworthy traits of the heart.

2 - A Dead Heart:

A dead heart is the opposite of a healthy heart. It does everything to please itself. It is slave of its own desires. If money is what a person with a dead heart desires, then he becomes a slave of money. He does everything and anything for the sake of earning money irrespective of whether it is earned in a Halāl or Harām way.

3 - A Sick Heart:

A sick heart swings between a healthy and a dead heart. This person has love for Allāh, faith in his heart, sincerity towards his duties but at the same time, also loves his desires and prefers them.

Action Plan:
- Memorise the following supplications:

اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ

“O Allāh purify my heart from every evil.”

اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ خُلُقٍ لا يُرْضِيْكَ

“O Allāh, purify my heart from every characteristic that is not pleasing to You”

اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ الغِلِّ والحِقْدِ والحَسَدِ والكِبْرِ

“O Allāh, purify my heart from hatred, resentment, jealousy, and arrogance.”

1. The afterlife is the essential life, the real life, namely life that is continuous, permanent and eternal.

2. The life of this world is called the world because it is low and despicable, because dunya means the lowest or bad worldly life is something few and small, a life full of lust and slander. The end of the world is mortality and annihilation.

Allah Azza wa Jalla said:

فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ

Even though the enjoyment of life in this world (compared to life) in the afterlife is only small. [At-Taubah/9:38]

And Allah has promised paradise to those who fear Him.

"And as for those who fear the greatness of their Lord and restrain (themselves) from their lusts (desires), then indeed, heaven is their abode." (QS An-Nazi'at: 40-41).

• Lying: Allah is displeased with lying, including small or trivial lies, as He has commanded us to always speak the truth. "Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man keeps on telling the truth until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person." (Sahih al-Bukhari)

• Backbiting: Speaking negatively about others in their absence or exposing their faults, is a major sin that angers Allah. "And do not backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it." (Qur'an 49:12)

• Arrogance: Believing you are better than others and acting superior, is a form of pride that Allah dislikes. "Indeed, Allah does not like anyone who is self-deluding and boastful!" (Qur'an 4:36)

• Being Extravagant: Discarding food or being extravagant with water and electricity, is wasteful and contradicts Allah's teachings on moderation. "And do not waste [resources), for indeed, He does not like those who waste." (Qur'an 7:31)

• Delaying Salah: Delaying prayers beyond their prescribed times without a valid excuse is neglecting an obligation to Allah. "And those who pray, who are constant in their prayer, and those who guard their prayers, these are in gardens, honored." (Qur'an 70:34-35).

From Abu Said Al-Khudri and from Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhuma, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he said:

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حُزْنٍ وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

"Not a Muslim is struck by fatigue, or illness, or worry, or sadness, or disturbance, not even a thorn that wounds him but Allah will erase his mistakes because of it" (HR. Al-Bukhari no. 5642 and Muslim no. 2573.

The minimum reward for a Muslim who is struck by a disaster, no matter how small the disaster, is that Allah will erase his mistakes.

However, if he is able to be patient & expect reward from this disaster, then he will actually get additional goodness.

Most people neglect to expect rewards when they experience small misfortunes such as being pricked by a thorn, getting a minor illness (flu, cough), or when they are tired from working all day, for example, whether a father works outside the home or a mother who does housework daily steps and also other things as mentioned in the hadith above.In fact, in all these cases, they have the opportunity to obtain goodness apart from the certainty that their mistakes will be erased.

It is appropriate for a Muslim to always show intention & hope for reward in every misfortune he experiences, whether small or large.

May Allah make us His servants who always hope for rewards even to the smallest misfortune that we receive.

The third caliph of the Muslims, Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, when he saw the graves, he cried and shed tears until his beard was wet.

"When you remember heaven and hell you don't cry, why do you cry when you see the cemetery?" Uthman answered, "Indeed, I once heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam say:

“Indeed, the grave is the beginning of the journey to the afterlife. if someone survives his (torture) then the next journey will be easier. But if he does not survive his (torture) then the next (torture) will be more cruel.”
(HR. Tirmidhi, he said hasan gharib)

So in the end the grave will become a place that can lead us to incomparable happiness or it will become a place that can lead us to incomparable misery and sadness, and it all depends on how we do our deeds.

Hopefully this can be a reflection for all of us and at the same time can be a motivation to increase good deeds, may Allah close our lives in a state of Husnul Khatimah. Aamiin 🤲🏻

O Allah, reward me for my disaster, and replace me with something better than it, then Allah will replace it with something better."

In Surah al-Baqarah, Allah gives a promise that people who are patient and say Istirja' will receive mercy and guidance.

أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ

Allohumma innii as aluka minal khoiri kullihi, 'aajilihi wa aajilihi, maa 'alimtu minhu wa maa lam a'lam, wa a'uudzu bika minasy syarri kullihi, 'aajilihi wa aajilihi, wa maa 'alimtu minhu wa maa lam a'lam, wa as alukal jannata wa maa qorroba ilaihaa min qoulin au 'amalin, wa a'uudzu bika minannaari wa maa qorroba ilaihaa min qoulin au 'amalin, wa as aluka mimmaa sa-alaka bihi muhammadun ﷺ , wa a'uudzu bika mimmaa ta'awwadza bihi muhammadun ﷺ , wa maa qodhoita lii min qodhoo-in faj'al 'aaqibatahuu rusydaa.

it means:

"O Allah, I ask for all good, both fast and slow, what I know and what I do not know, and I seek refuge from all evil, fast and slow, what I know and what I do not know.

and I ask for heaven and that which draws nearer to him from word or deed, and I seek refuge from hell and that which draws nearer to him from word or deed.

and I ask for everything that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked for and take refuge from everything that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked for protection.

And whatever You have destined for me, then make it good in the end."

He/She knows that the tongue has no bones and does not get tired easily, but it is not used to pray to Allah.

But, when it comes to comments about other people, or religious teachers, or even electricity poles, his enthusiasm is extraordinary... what good is it for him?!

That's how it is... life in this world will continue, and people will continue to be careless, unless Allah blesses them.

Come on, be aware.. remember that time that has passed will never come back again.. we only have a chance in the remaining time of our lives.

we will leave this world.. the most important thing is our fate in the afterlife.. let's prepare as well as possible with good deeds, may Allah bless us all, amen.

Allah also said:

✒"WOMEN WHO ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR PRAYERS"

The best fardhu prayer for women is at home. However, if he wants to pray in a congregation in a mosque, it should not be prohibited. The condition is that he is safe from slander and does not cause slander. because things that can provoke slander are not permitted, including wearing strong perfume.

From Zainab la-Tsaqafiyah, wife of Abdullah bin Mas'ud Radhiyallahu 'Anhuma, said Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam said to us:

"If one of you (women) wants to go to the mosque (to join in congregational prayers), then she must not wear perfume." (Hadith History of Muslim).

The Muslim imam included this hadith in, "Chapter A woman goes out to the mosque if it does not cause slander, and she goes out without wearing perfume." This shows that if a woman wants to attend congregational prayers in a mosque with Muslims, it is forbidden for her to wear perfume.

Ibn Daqiq al-'Ied said: It is forbidden to use perfume on women who want to go to the mosque; because it can arouse the lust of men who smell it. This also applies to exquisite clothing and striking jewelry.

In fact, in another hadith it is clearly stated that a woman who prays in the mosque wearing strong perfume, her prayer will not be rewarded and will not be accepted, until she gets rid of the smell.

From Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu 'Anhu, said: Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

"A woman who uses perfume and then goes to the mosque to smell it, her prayer will not be accepted so she bathes as the janabat baths.(Hadith narrated by Ibn Majah, Ahmad and mentioned in Sahih al-Jami' al-Shaghir, no. 2703).

🗣️Say Greetings When Entering an Empty House 🏡

Saying greetings to a house that is uninhabited or there is no one in the house is not obligatory, but only sunnah.

Ibn 'Umar radhiyallahu 'anhuma said,

إذا دخل البيت غير المسكون، فليقل: السلام علينا، وعلى عباد الله الصا لحين

"If someone enters a house that is not occupied, then say "Assalamu 'alainaa wa 'alaa 'ibadillahish sholihiin (greetings to ourselves and greetings to the pious servants of Allah)".
[Narrated by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrod 806/ 1055. The Sanad of this hadith is Hasan as said by Al Hafizh Ibnu Hajar in Al Fath, 11: 17]

The above is said when the house is empty. However, if there is family or servants in it, then say "Assalamu 'alaikum". but if you enter the mosque, say "Assalamu 'alainaa wa 'alaa 'ibadillahish sholihiin". Meanwhile, Ibn 'Umar considered this last greeting to be said when entering an empty house.

Imam Nawawi Rahimullah in the book Al Adzkar said, "It is Sunnah if someone enters one's own house to say salam even though there are no occupants. That is, say "Assalamu 'alainaa wa 'alaa 'ibadillahish sholihiin". Likewise, when entering a mosque or someone else's empty house, it is sunnah to say the greeting (salam) "Assalamu 'alainaa wa 'alaa 'ibadillahish sholihiin. Assalamu 'alaikum ahlal bait wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh."
(Al Adzkar, pp. 468-469).

The meaning of the sentence "Assalamu 'alainaa" shows that prayer should start for yourself first and then others. Meanwhile, the phrase "wa 'ala 'ibadillahish sholihiin", namely greetings to pious servants, means pious means a person who carries out his obligations, Allah's rights and also the rights of servants.
(Syarh Sahih Al Adabil Mufrod, 3: 186).

🎓 Abu Dzar Al-Ghifari radhiyallahu'anhu said,

🌴 "My beloved (Rasulullah) sallallaahu'alaihi wa sallam ordered me seven things:

1) He ordered me to love poor people and get close to them.

2) And he ordered me to look at those who are lower than me (in worldly matters) and not to look at those who are higher than me.

3) And he ordered me to continue my kinship (family relations) even though they were rude to me.

4) And he ordered me not to ask anyone for anything.

5) And he ordered me to tell the truth even if it is bitter.

6) And he ordered me not to be afraid of the reproaches of those who criticize in the way of Allah.

7) And he ordered me to increase my dhikr:

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

."Laa haula wa laa quwwata illaa billaah" (there is no effort and strength except with the help of Allah), because it is included in the deposits under the 'arsh (in another narration: because it is included in the deposits in heaven)."

• Show submissiveness and devotion during your dua. The Prophet (PBUH) said, Know that Allah will not accept the supplication from an absent heart - (Tirmidhi)

• Be patient and do not hasten for an answer. The Prophet (PBUH) said: The dua or prayer of any worshiper will continue to be responded to, as long as he is not hasty i.e. as long as he doesn't lose patience.

• Continue to gain a lawful means of living. The Prophet (PBUH) narrated a story about a man asking Allah, saying O Lord! O Lord! but his food was unlawful, his drink was unlawful, his clothing was unlawful, and he was nourished unlawfully; so how can he be answered? (Muslim)

Allah does not place a burden on us greater than we can bear. If the answer to your Dua has been delayed, it's because Allah KNOWS you can handle it. He tests those whom He loves, so keep asking and remember that Allah
makes with hardship ease. And remember, as with Tawakkul, we need to exert effort as well.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever imitates a nation then he is from amongst them.”

قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه : اجتنبوا أعداء الله في عيدهم.

‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه said: “Avoid the enemies of Allāh during their festivals.” and in one narration with addition “.. for the Wrath of Allāh descends upon them during it.”

قال عبدالله بن عمرو رضي الله عنه : من مر ببلاد الاعاجم فصنع نيروزهم و مهرجانهم و تشبه بهم حتى يموت و هو كذلك حشر معهم يوم القيامة.

‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr رضي الله عنه said: “Whoever settles in the land of the non-Arabs and celebrates their new year and festival and imitates them until he dies while he is in that state, will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection.”

Ibn Taymīyyāh said: “Muslims should not celebrate any festival of the disbelievers.”
