Introduction
Estimates for 2022 show that there are more than 3.9 million zero-dose and under-vaccinate children in Ethiopia. Among these 1.5 million are estimated to be in Oromia region. These include 64,732 zero-dose and 143,128 children in the conflict-affected woredas of Horo Guduru and Keleme Wollega zones. This gap in immunization coverage has led to frequent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, particularly measles. The main goal of the CSO engagement project is to increase immunization coverage and reduce the number of zero-dose and under-vaccinated children in 18 conflict-affected woredas in the two zones. The Oromia Development Association (ODA) in consortium with HUNDEE will implement the project in eighteen woredas in Kelem Wollegga and ten woredas in Horo Guduru Zones. The target woreda Woredas of Zero-Doze immunization and under immunization are Horo Gudru (Horo,Hababo Guduru,Horo Buluq,Amuru, Jimma Geneti,Abay Chomen,Jimma Rare,Chomen Guguru,Abe Dengoro and Guduru.
Job Title I : Zonal EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) Project Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities
Provide technical support to woreda level EPI coordinators, Woreda Health Office, Health center and other stakeholders and mobilizes related stakeholders and beneficiary communities as per the project activities and agreement signed with donor and government to fulfill the objective of the project,
Make sure that all the planned vaccine session is completed as planned and reach the target and ensure all the data register at Woreda Data base eg. DHSI2 and other modalities.
Takes full responsibility of financial and administrative management of the specific project activities that you will be assigned.
Schedule and manage project meetings and supportive supervision and monitoring through approval of Regional EPI project manager and Health Program EPI PME Specialist.
Develop annual implementation plans in collaboration with EPI Regional Project manager, Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Program Specialist and other colleagues and partners,
Coordinate, supervise and provide technical assistance for Woreda EPI project coordinator and Woreda Health Office EPI focal person.
Provide technical assistance to Woredas to incorporate Health service strategy in woreda based planning.
Commits to support all the efforts of the HUNDEE to prevent and respond to SEA allegations: adhere to the HUNDEE’s code of conduct,
Qualification: Frist degree (BSc) in medicine, public health, nursing or other health sciences with graduate degree (Masters) in public health, epidemiology; or related fields
Additional training in project managing and reporting is an advantage
Work Experience: For first degree holders at least seven years; and for graduate /second degree holders five-years of relevant experience with government organizations; national or international organizations in the program coordination, management and leadership roles in public health, expanded immunization, child health or related fields.
Previous expertise in designing, planning, implementation, assessment and monitoring of immunization programs is an advantage.
Skill: Excellent knowledge of Afaan Oromo, Amharic and English, in spoken and written
Familiarity with National Health policy of Ethiopia and Particularly of eye Health,
Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and implement program
Employ problem-solving skills and analysis.
