Introduction

Estimates for 2022 show that there are more than 3.9 million zero-dose and under-vaccinate children in Ethiopia. Among these 1.5 million are estimated to be in Oromia region. These include 64,732 zero-dose and 143,128 children in the conflict-affected woredas of Horo Guduru and Keleme Wollega zones. This gap in immunization coverage has led to frequent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, particularly measles. The main goal of the CSO engagement project is to increase immunization coverage and reduce the number of zero-dose and under-vaccinated children in 18 conflict-affected woredas in the two zones. The Oromia Development Association (ODA) in consortium with HUNDEE will implement the project in eighteen woredas in Kelem Wollegga and ten woredas in Horo Guduru Zones. Job Title I : Zonal EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) Project Coordinator

Category: Development Program Division

Report To: Liaison EPI Project Manager

Role and Responsibilities

Provide technical support to woreda level EPI coordinators, Woreda Health Office, Health center and other stakeholders and mobilizes related stakeholders and beneficiary communities as per the project activities and agreement signed with donor and government to fulfill the objective of the project,

Make sure that all the planned vaccine session is completed as planned and reach the target and ensure all the data register at Woreda Data base eg. DHSI2 and other modalities.

Takes full responsibility of financial and administrative management of the specific project activities that you will be assigned.

Schedule and manage project meetings and supportive supervision and monitoring through approval of Regional EPI project manager and Health Program EPI PME Specialist.

Develop annual implementation plans in collaboration with EPI Regional Project manager, Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Program Specialist and other colleagues and partners,

Coordinate, supervise and provide technical assistance for Woreda EPI project coordinator and Woreda Health Office EPI focal person.

Provide technical assistance to Woredas to incorporate Health service strategy in woreda based planning.

Commits to support all the efforts of the HUNDEE to prevent and respond to SEA allegations: adhere to the HUNDEE’s code of conduct,


Qualification: Frist degree (BSc) in medicine, public health, nursing or other health sciences with graduate degree (Masters) in public health, epidemiology; or related fields

Additional training in project managing and reporting is an advantage

Work Experience: For first degree holders at least seven years; and for graduate /second degree holders five-years of relevant experience with government organizations; national or international organizations in the program coordination, management and leadership roles in public health, expanded immunization, child health or related fields.

Previous expertise in designing, planning, implementation, assessment and monitoring of immunization programs is an advantage.

Skill: Excellent knowledge of Afaan Oromo, Amharic and English, in spoken and written

Familiarity with National Health policy of Ethiopia and Particularly of eye Health,

Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and implement program

Employ problem-solving skills and analysis.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to convene stakeholders and facilitate a policy process among NGOs, national health authorities and donors

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Head, People and Culture Specialized Services, the Consultant (Total Rewards) will deliver high-quality service, expert knowledge, and advice on Total Rewards to employees and people leaders at the Foundation, driving positive outcomes for People & Culture (P&C) clients. WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

Resolve complex employee and people leader inquiries escalated by advisory services regarding Total Rewards.
Escalate complex cases to the Head of Specialized Services, Enabling Services, and/or Total Rewards CoE as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 - 10 years of Human Resource (HR) experience, ideally within an HR shared service environment.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Office 365, and SharePoint).
Extensive knowledge of compensation processes, including updating job descriptions post-evaluation, activating job profiles, updating salary structures, and managing ad-hoc payment information.

6. Duties and responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
Working with and reporting to the PAD Finance Coordinator, the Finance Office (Disbursement and Collection Officer) is responsible for managing the full cycle of project-related financial activities, including the disbursement of funds, collection of receivables, and maintaining accurate financial documentation and records.

1. Key Responsibilities:
Project Disbursement: Manage and process all disbursements for project activities, ensuring funds are released according to approved budgets and timelines.
Fund Collection: Handle the collection of project funds, including donor contributions and partner payments, ensuring timely receipt of all due funds.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all financial transactions, including disbursements and collections, ensuring that all documentations are inline with the organizational minimum document requirement, accurate, and up-to-date.
Financial Recording: Record all disbursement and collection transactions in the organization's financial system, ensuring that the ledger reflects real-time data.
Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile project accounts to ensure that disbursements and collections match the financial records.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Finance Coordinator on the status of project finances.

Place of Work: - Based in Gida Ayana Wereda, East Welega Zone with frequent travel to PIN's project sites in different regions as required.

Support for Program Development

Assist the Project manager in identifying new emergency operation areas through rapid assessment and contribute for the improvement the emergency unit in responding for various disasters.

Project Implementation, logistics and resource management:

Coordinate and/or participate emergency coordination meeting at woreda and zonal level and update the project manager regularly on the meeting updates and findings
Coordinate activities in the field to ensure that the emergency response activities are not duplicated with other partner operating for IDPs returnees and host community responses
Provide support and guidance during the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency response in the intervention woredas and the respective kebeles from the inception to the close out stages
Coordinate activities in the field to ensure that PIN WASH and shelter emergency response are implemented as per the specified standards and proto cols
Coordinate and get involved in need assessment of new project proposal developments
Coordinate and conduct hygiene promotion activities in project implementation areas in collaboration and coordination with respective government stake holders
Coordinate the construction and rehabilitation of hygiene and sanitation facilities in the health institutions
As a coordinator on Emergency WASH response, Field Coordinator is responsible for mentoring, couching and leading Field Officer and Site supervisor on Emergency WASH and Shelter response project activities.
Facilitate regular assessment on the situation of IDPs and the hosting community, compile, analyse, interpret data, and report to the Project Manager for update and action
Support in strengthening rapid response of the emergency team to enable them to collect, compile, analyse and interpret surveillance reports to use for decision making and action and also provision of feedback.
Facilitate and follow the distribution of WASH and shelter NFIs as per the project
Help in staff training, performances monitoring and ensure that PIN standards and protocols are adhered and implemented
Provide and facilitate trainings and orientation for field staffs and government employees' basics core value of humanitarian organizations
Work with integration with other project staffs
Coordinate and follow the provision and fixing PIN and donor visibility items in the implementation areas in collaboration with PIN communication managers
Reporting and M/E
Provide updates and regular reports on in the situation of IDPs and hosting community
Assist the project manager to compile the field-based reports and also assist on preparing high level regular reports and updates
Support the field-based team to establish strong reporting systems and data flow mechanisms and ensure proper functioning of the systems for regular assessment,
