Whoever prays Fajr in congregation then sits remembering Allah until the sun rises, then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that of Hajj and ‘Umrah.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
مَنْ صَلَّى الغَدَاةَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَانَتْ لَهُ كَأَجْرِ حَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ ، تَامَّةٍ تَامَّةٍ تَامَّةٍ
“Whoever prays Fajr in congregation then sits remembering Allah until the sun rises, then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that of Hajj and ‘Umrah, complete, complete, complete.”

Aid Comes With Seeking Forgiveness

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ahmad Bin AbdulHaleem Ibn Taymiyyah [D.728 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:

❝…Whoever hopes for something he strives and seeks it, and whoever fears something flees from it.

If a person strove and sought aid from Allaah [تعالى] and adhered to seeking forgiveness [Istighfaar] and striving, then Allaah will most surely give him from His excellence that which never even crossed his mind.

If a person finds that his heart does not become happy and delighted, nor does it achieve the sweetness of Eemaan, nor the light of guidance then he should repent [Tawbah] a lot and seek forgiveness [Istighfaar] a lot, and he should adhere to striving as much has he can, since indeed Allaah says:

﴿وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ﴾‏

«As for those who strive hard in Us [Our Cause], We will surely guide them to Our Paths [i.e. Allaah’s Religion – Islamic Monotheism].» [Ankaboot: 69]

It is upon him to establish the obligatory duties outwardly and inwardly; and adhere to the straight path seeking aid with Allaah, absolving himself from strength or might expect with Allaah.❞

A Supplication to Remove Poverty and All Harms

Mak-hool (rahimahullah) said:

Whoever says —

laa hawlaa wa-laa quwwata illa bilLaah, wa-laa mal-ja’a min-Allahi illa ilayH

There is no power nor strength except with Allah, and there is no refuge from Allah except unto Him

— Allah will remove from him seventy types of harm,

the least of which is poverty.

[Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah), 20447]

From the Treasures of Jannah

Abu Musa (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said to me, "Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Jannah?"

I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!"

Thereupon he (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,

"(Recite) 'laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa bilLaah' (there is no change of a condition nor power except by Allah)."

Raḍītu billāhi Rabban wa bil-Islāmi dīnan wa bi-Muḥammadin nabiyyan.

I am pleased with Allāh as Lord, and with Islām as a religion, and with Muḥammad as a Prophet. Then I guarantee that I will take him by the hand until he is entered into Paradise.

Tawheed And Istighfaar

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah [رحمه الله] said:

❝The state and matter of Istighfaar amongst the people of Tawheed and its connection with the testimony of La ilaha ila Allaah is firmly established.

From the first of them until the last of them and from the last of them to the first of them. From high to low.

The comprehensiveness of the state and matter of Tawheed and Istighfaar applies to all of the creation and they in relation to these situations are of different grades to Allaah. Every person having a grade which is known.

Therefore, the testimony of La ilaha ila Allaah [none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah] with truthfulness and certainty eliminates all of Shirk, a small and a large amount, that which is done mistakenly and intentionally, the first of it and the last of it, that done secretly and openly. That which appears upon all of its characteristics, that which it hides and its intricate details.

Istighfaar wipes out that which remains from its affects, it wipes out sin which is from the branches of Shirk. Indeed all sins are from the branches of Shirk.

So Tawheed eliminates the foundation of Shirk, and Istighfaar wipes out its branches.

«فأبلغ الثناء قول: لا إله إلا الله.»

The most expressive praise is the statement of La ilaha ila Allaah.

«وأبلغ الدعاء قول: أستغفر الله.»

The most expressive of Dua is the statement of Astaghfirullaah [I seek forgiveness from Allaah].❞

If you struggle with leaving h‌arām, read the following dūʿā:

اللّهُـمَّ اكْفِـني بِحَلالِـكَ عَنْ حَـرامِـكَ

Allāhummakfinī biḥalālika ‘an ḥarāmika,

O Allāh, suffice me with what You have made h‌alāl over what You have made h‌arām,

wa aghninī bi faḍlika `amman siwak

and make me independent of all others besides You.

This is just one of the duas our beloved Prophet (saw) would read at Tahajjud time.

Dont say 'thank you' to a Muslim who helps u

Say Jazaak Allahu khayr which is a dua as u ask Allah Subhaana wa ta'aala to grant the person "khayr" goodness that the person deserves.

An excellent dua to teach ur kids as well!

Do NOT SHORTEN & say it write'JZK' even saying 'jazaak Allah' is WRONG.

Saying 'Jazaak Allahu khayr' is an act of worship, so dont abbreviate an ibadaah that u will get rewarded for.

‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattāb رضي الله عنه said:

“If one of you knew the reward he has in saying to his brother, JazākAllāhu Khayran (may Allāh reward you with good), you would say it much to one another”

A Supplication In Prayer That Amazed The Prophet ﷺ

From Ibn ‘Umar Raḍi-Allāhu 'Anhumā who said: Whilst we were praying with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ a man from amongst people recited;

Allaahu Akbaru Kabeeran Wal Ḥamdulillaahi Katheeran Wa SubḥaanAllaahi Bukratan Wa Aṣeelaa,

(Allāh is Great, the Greatest, and praise belongs to Allāh in abundance, and glorified be Allāh at the beginning and end of the day),

So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ asked (after prayer): “Who said such and such?!!”

The man replied: “I did O Messenger of Allāh.”

So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “I was amazed by it, for it opened the gates of heaven.”

Ibn 'Umar Raḍi-Allāhu 'Anhumā said: “I have not abandoned them (i.e these words) since I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying that.”

Note: Sh. al-Albānī Raḥimahullāh mentioned in his book (صفة صلاة النبي) that this Dhikr is from one of the supplications with which the prayer is opened (after the first Takbeer).

One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when he ﷺ raised his head from the position of ruku` (bowing position), he said: “Sami Allahu leman hamidah” – ‘Allah hears the one who praises Him’. A man from behind added:

رَبَّنـا وَلَكَ الحَمْـدُ حَمْـداً كَثـيراً طَيِّـباً مُـبارَكاً فيه
“Rabbanaa wa la kal hamd, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh”
‘Our Lord, all praise is due only to You, praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed.’

When we finished [the prayer] the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Who spoke?’ The man said, ‘I did’. He ﷺ said,

‘Indeed I saw some 30 angels all scuffling to see which one of them could record it.’

Let these words be the last you utter before going to bed.

Narrated Al-Bara bin `Azib Radiallahuanhu

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me,

"When you want to go to bed, perform ablution as you do for prayer, then lie down on your right side and say:

'Allahumma aslamtu wajhi ilaika, wa fawwadtu 'amri ilaika wa alja'tu dhahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, la malja'a wa la manja minka illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabik al-ladhi anzalta wa binabiyyika al-ladhi arsalta'.

If you should die then (after reciting this) you will die on the religion of Islam (i.e., as a Muslim); so let these words be the last you say (before going to bed)"

While I was memorizing it, I said, "Wa birasulika al-ladhi arsalta (in Your Apostle whom You have sent).' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No, but say: Wa binabiyyika al-ladhi arsalta (in Your Prophet whom You have sent).

Allah is Enough for Us

Allah is enough for us and He is the Best Protector.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
'Allah is Sufficient for us and He Is the Best Disposer of affairs," was said by Abraham when he was thrown into the fire; and it was said by Muhammad when they (i.e. hypocrites) said, "A great army is gathering against you, therefore, fear them," but it only increased their faith and they said: "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs, for us)." (3.173)

“The names الحي القيوم Al-Hayy Al-Qayyum has a remarkable effect on:

The acceptance of supplications and the removal of afflictions.”🤲♥️

~Ibn al-Qayyim(May Allah have mercy on him)
[Zād al-Ma'ad, 4/188]

Al-Hayy: The Ever-Living One, who always remains without any beginning or any end, with Perfect and Ever-Lasting Life, Who never dies nor passes away.

Al-Qayyum: The Self-Subsisting One upon Whom everything depends. The One Who sustains everything that exists. The One Who has no need whatsoever of anything but rather everything in existence has total need of Him.

These Names of Allah are mentioned together only thrice in the Quran- Surah al-Baqarah, Surah Al- Imran, and Surah Ta Ha.

In a situation where we lost something precious, we usually make du’a for the bleeding to stop, for the anguish to go away, for the grief to subside. But did you know that we’re also taught to ask Allah to replace what was lost with something better? Rasulullah salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:

🌺 ❛If any servant [of Allah] who suffers a calamity says:

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon
(We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return)

Allahumma jurnii fii musibatii
(O Allah, [I seek with You the] reward for my affliction)

wa akhlif lii khayran minha
(and [I ask You to] give me something better than it, in exchange for it).

…then Allah will give him reward for (his) affliction,
and would give him something better than it, in exchange.❞
【Sahih Muslim 918b】

A lot of us are going to lose things in this dunya. And that’s the norm.

🌿 So if we lose health, don’t just ask Allah to restore our health, but ask Allah for health that is better than before.

🌿 And if we lose our career, or income, or opportunities, ask Allah to bless us with a career / income / opportunities that are better than what was taken away.

Don’t just ask Allah to stop the bleeding, don’t just ask Allah to protect and safeguard it, but ask Allah to increase it, to make it better.

And after making the du’a, don’t pin the exact outcome of that du’a, because the best that we’re expecting might not actually be the best. Instead have full trust and conviction that the One you’re asking is All-Knowing and Fully Capable. In whichever way Allah chooses to answer, it IS best for us.

May Allah make us believers who are patient and pleased with His qadr, and replace what has been lost and taken away with that which is far better.

[3] when [alone] in privacy,

If you do not find it in these places, then ask Allāh to grant you a heart – for verily, you do not have one.”

See Al-Fawā’id [p. 479]

Action plan:

- Read the Qur’ān for at least 20 minutes daily.
- Attend at least one Islamic class per week.
- Engage in the remembrance of Allāh in private.
- Read the following supplications:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

“O Turner of the hearts, affirm my heart upon Your religion.”

“O Allāh rectify my heart and my action”

“O Allāh, purify my heart from every evil.”

Supplication at the Time of Distress🌸

The Messenger of Allāh said:

Allāhumma raḥmataka arjū, fa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ‘ayn, wa aṣliḥ lī sha'nī kullah, lā ilāha illā Ant.

O Allāh, Your mercy is what I hope for, so do not entrust me to myself even for the blink of an eye, and rectify for me my condition, all of it. There is none worthy of worship except You.

How Much Do You Remember Allāh Daily?

Qur’ān: Allāh says,

“Surely in the remembrance of Allāh do hearts find comfort"

Sūrah Ar-Ra'd: 28

Spiritual Development: Imām Ibn Taymīyyah said:

“Dhikr [Remembrance of Allāh] is to the heart as water is to a fish; see what happens when a fish is taken out of water!”

See Al-Wābil As-Sayyib [p.63].

Practical steps to remember Allāh on a daily basis:

1 - Incorporate Dhikr into daily tasks like commuting or cooking.

2 - Set fixed times each day for focused remembrance of Allāh.

3 - Use phone reminders or apps to help keep up with daily Dhikr.

4 - Start now with this Dhikr which is light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale and beloved to Allāh:

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيْم

“Allāh is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him, Allāh is free from imperfection, the Greatest.”

Ya Fattah (the Opener of all doors) I turn to You seeking Your guidance and mercy. Open for me the doors of success, understanding & ease in all my affairs, just as You opened the sea for Prophet Musa (as) guide me to the best opportunities.

Ya Fattah, remove any obstacles from my path, bless me and my loved ones. Ameen.

Don’t underestimate the importance of du’ā.

‎Oh Allah, save the vulnerable and oppressed among the believers.

‎[ This is a du’ā said by the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم during Qunūt ; reported by Bukhari & Muslim].

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to seek protection against the evil of jinn and the evil eyes till Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas were revealed. After they were revealed, he took to them for seeking Allah's protection and left everything besides them" [At- Tirmidhi Book 9, Hadith 25].

Narrated by Ibn Abbas

When praying at night (Qiyamul Lail), the Prophet ﷺ used to say between the two prostrations:

“Rabbigfirli, Warhamni, Wajburni, Warzuqni, Warfa’ni.”

(O Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me, improve my situation, provide for me, raise my status).

If you want Allaah to bless you ten times, remove ten of your sins, and elevate you ten degrees, send blessings upon the Prophet ‎ﷺ once.

If you want Allaah to bless you a hundred times, remove a hundred of your sins, and elevate you a hundred degrees, send blessings upon the Prophet ‎ﷺ ten times.

And so on, whenever you send blessings upon him ‎ﷺ, multiply it by ten without any limit.

The Prophet ‎ﷺ said:
“Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allaah will bless him ten times, remove ten of his sins, and elevate him ten degrees.”

And this is not specific to Fridays, but on Fridays, it is more virtuous.

ANOTHER TREMENDOUS DUA TO ERASE A MULTITUDE OF SINS.

The Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said to the one who recited the following dua at the end of Salah "he has been forgiven three times"

Hanzalah bin 'Ali (radiAllahuanhu) narrated that: Mihjan Ibn Al-Adra' (radiAllahuanhu)
narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the masjid and there was a man who had finished his prayer and he was reciting the tashahhud. He said:

"Allahumma inni as'aluka ya Allah! Bi-annakal-Wahidul-Ahad us-Samad, alladhi lam yalid wa lam yowled, wa lam yakul lahu kufuwan ahad, an taghfirali dhunubi, innaka antal-Ghafurur-Raheem.

(O Allah, I ask of You, O Allah, as You are the One, the Unique, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who begets not nor was He begotten, and there is None equal or comparable to Him, forgive me my sins, for You are the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.)"

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He has been forgiven," three times.Reference :
