📝عن جابر بن عبد الله عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:

يومُ الجمعةِ ثِنتا عشرةَ ساعةً لا يوجَدُ مسلِمٌ يسألُ اللَّهَ عزَّ وجلَّ شيئًا إلَّا آتاهُ اللَّهُ عزَّ وجلَّ فالتمِسوها آخرَ ساعةٍ بعدَ العصرِ

أخرجه أبو داود (١٠٤٨) واللفظ له، والنسائي (١٣٨٩)، صححه الألباني ،المصدر : صحيح 📚أبي داود

📝Narrated by Jābir Ibn 'Abdillāh رضي الله عنه who said: The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

The day of Jumu'ah(Friday) has twelve hours, in which there is no Muslim who asks Allāh [Glorified and exalted is He] for anything except that Allāh [Glorified and exalted is He] will grant it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr

قال الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن ناصر السعدي -رحمه الله تعالى- :

وهذا مشاهد مجرّب؛
إذا أحبّ العبد أهل الخير، رأيته منضمًّا إليهم، حريصا على أن يكون مثلهم،

وإذا أحبّ أهل الشرّ، انضمّ إليهم وعمل بأعمالهم

[ بهجة قلوب الأبرار صـ ٢٤٤ ]

Shaykh ‘Abdur Rahmān Ibn Nāsir As-Si’dī -may Allāh The Most High's mercy be upon him- said :

And this is something that is seen and experienced;

If a slave loves the people of goodness, you will see him affiliating with them and keen to be like them,

And if a slave loves the people of evil, he will affiliate himself with them and do the things they do

[Bahjatul Qulūbil Abrār pg.244 ]

قال الشيخ عبدالله بن عبدالرحيم البخاري -حفظه الله تعالى- :

لا تجعل الدعاء كالدواء لكن اجعله كالهواء

[ ١٦ محرم ١٤٣٩هـ ،الجلسة بعد صلاة الجمعة بجامع الرضوان]

Shaykh 'Abdullāh Ibn 'Abdir Rahīm -may Allāh The Most High preserve him- said :

Do not treat supplications as (only a form of) remedy. Rather, treat it as the air (that you breathe in).*

[ 16 Muharrom 1439H, sitting after the Friday prayer at Jāmi' ar-Ridhwān ]

*I say : The meaning of it is to not treat the act of supplication to Allāh as a remedy where you only turn to it when you are afflicted. Rather, treat it as though it is the air that you are constantly in need of.

📝عن جابر بن عبد الله عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:

يومُ الجمعةِ ثِنتا عشرةَ ساعةً لا يوجَدُ مسلِمٌ يسألُ اللَّهَ عزَّ وجلَّ شيئًا إلَّا آتاهُ اللَّهُ عزَّ وجلَّ فالتمِسوها آخرَ ساعةٍ بعدَ العصرِ

أخرجه أبو داود (١٠٤٨) واللفظ له، والنسائي (١٣٨٩)، صححه الألباني ،المصدر : صحيح 📚أبي داود

📝Narrated by Jābir Ibn 'Abdillāh رضي الله عنه who said: The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

The day of Jumu'ah(Friday) has twelve hours, in which there is no Muslim who asks Allāh [Glorified and exalted is He] for anything except that Allāh [Glorified and exalted is He] will grant it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr
