“من أحب أن تفتح له فرجة في قلبه”
“Whoever desires that a relief be opened for his heart,”
ويَنْجُو مِنْ غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَأَهْوَالِ الْقِيَامَةِ،
“and that he be saved from the terrors of death and the horrors of the Day of Judgment,”
فليكن عمله في السر أكثر منه في العلانية.
“let his deeds in secret be more than his deeds in public.”
[ترتيب المدارك ٥١/٢]

He says: “The heart has a disarray that can only be mended by turning to Allah.
It carries a loneliness that can only be removed by finding solace in Him in solitude.
It harbors a sadness that can only be alleviated by the joy of knowing Him and sincere dealings with Him.
And it holds a restlessness that can only be calmed by gathering around Him and fleeing from everything else to Him”.

“Young man, if you are able every morning and evening to remove any malice in your heart towards anyone, then do so.” Then, the Prophet ﷺ said to him:
“Young man, that is my Sunnah. Whoever revives my Sunnah has loved me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise.”

Our time is precious, and we should use it wisely to strengthen our relationship with Allah and strive for better deeds.
As Umar ibn al-Khattab [RA] advised, “Hold yourselves to account before you are held to account.” This reminder serves as a call to evaluate our actions daily, for self-reflection in this world will make the Reckoning easier in the hereafter. Let’s prioritise our own growth and prepare ourselves for what truly matters.

Fajr is almost 7am & Isha is around 8pm.
Many of us might struggle to wake up the last third of the night for Tahajjud due to work or school.
Then what about the reward of praying the entire night?
The Messenger ﷺ said: “Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer).”
