TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Friday appealed to the devotees to followed the allotted time slots on SED and SSD tokens, to avoid unnecessary waiting in Tirumala.
As many devotees are turning up for darshan much earlier than the allotted time slots on their SSD tokens and SED tickets, they are forced to wait for long hours.
TTD is allowing the devotees to enter the darshan queue lines only on their allotted reporting time specified on their tokens or tickets from the past few days.
But, still many devotees are coming to Tirumala, much earlier and facing the hardships of waiting outside.
Through the Dial your EO programme on Friday, TTD EO appealed to the devotees to follow the time slots unscrupulously to avoid the long waiting. “We are already making announcements in all the five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English for the information of the pilgrim public in Tirumala. We are starting the announcements at Tirupati Railway Station and Bus Stand also for the information of the devotees in a day or two”, he added.
The devotees can visit other temples in Tirupati or visit spiritual places in Tirumala instead of waiting outside the queue lines, the EO observed.
