The praise of a major scholar is not something light. Now imagine 5 different major scholars praising a single man, in detail. Whomsoever spews their irrelevant opinion thereafter seeking to combat this praise with remarks such as, 'cannot string a line of Arabic together', 'makes mistakes in arabic' and rhetoric to that effect; then, such a one should be entered into the barn to live with his likes, among the donkeys and she-asses as he has successfully exhibited all that aligns with the conditions of being ahmaq.

— “It is okay to invite a mubtadi’ (innovator) to speak in conferences so long as he invites to Khayr” (Allāhul musta’ān)
— “Ihyā’ at-Turāth are Salafī” “if a person is offered financial assistance from them, he should take it and eat it freely (without fear)

— I have been encouraging the brothers in India to vote for the past 20 YEARS” (Allāhul musta’ān)

And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. [Al-Furqān, 62]
Then he said, “Subhānallāh! How vast is the Mercy of Allāh! How encompassing is His favour! How subtle is His creation! He gave whoever failed during the day another chance in the night, and whoever fell short during the night another chance in the day.”

Seeking Knowledge At A Young Age
‘Alqamah (rahimahullah) said: “What I memorised when I was young is as if I see it written on a parchment or a piece of paper.”
And it is said in a proverb related to this:
“Clay can only be moulded when it is moist.” (So likewise a person can be moulded while at a young age).”

Note:
Many of the scholars, among the contemporary and those of old, began their studies at the latter part of their lives. Thus, an individual should never become disheartened upon hearing the aforementioned quotes and should look at the Prophet ﷺ and the companions as examples in this regard.

Crying upon hearing the Āyāt of the Qur’ān
إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدࣰا وَبُكِیࣰّا ۩﴿ ٥٨ ﴾
When the Verses of the Most Gracious (Allāh) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrate and weeping.
[Surah Maryam, Āyah 58]
• تفسير البغوي:
أَخْبَرَ اللَّهُ أَنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ كَانُوا إِذَا سَمِعُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ سَجَدُوا وَبَكَوْا.
Tafsīr Al-Baghawī commented (under the above āyah):
Allāh has informed us that when the Prophets heard the Āyāt of Allāh they would prostrate themselves and weep.
تفسير ابن كثير:
قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَر قَالَ: قَرَأَ عُمَرُ بن الخطاب، رضي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، سُورَةَ مَرْيَمَ، فَسَجَدَ وَقَالَ: هَذَا السُّجُودُ، فَأَيْنَ الْبُكِيُّ؟ يُرِيدُ الْبُكَاءَ.
Ibn Kathīr on this verse said:
“Umar bin al-khattāb recited Surāh Maryam and then prostrated and said (admonishing himself thereby), ‘This was the prostration, so where is the weeping?’ He wanted to weep.”

Shaykh Al-Islām Ibn taymiyyah said:
“And extremism in the Ummah occurred within two groups: a group from the misguided Shia who believe that the Prophets and Imāms of Ahlul-Bayt possess divinity; and a group from the ignoramuses of the Sūfiyyah who believe similar to that in relation to the prophets and the righteous.
So whomsoever is deluded into attributing something of divinity to our Prophet, or other than him from the prophets, then he is from the category of the Christians. Whereas the rights of the prophets are only that which have come in the Qurān and the Sunnah regarding them.”

Al-Hasan al-Basrī used to say, “The believer does not banter except that he loses awareness, and then upon pondering he regrets it.” (1)
Al-Hasan saw a man who spoke a lot. He remarked, “O son of my brother! Guard your tongue for indeed it has been said: ‘Nothing is more worthy of incarceration than the tongue.'” (2)
He also said, “A man reached nobility via his intellect, his shyness and his kindness.” (3)

“My mother would have me undergo that which would help me to gain weight so that she could prepare me to enter upon the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
She was unable to achieve that until I began to eat cucumber with ripe dates whereupon I became more plump and gained weight to a better weight.”
وعن عائشة قالت كانت أمي تعالجني للسمنة تريد أن تدخلني على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فما استقام لها ذلك حتى أكلت القثاء بالرطب فسمنت كأحسن سمنة . ( واسناده صحيح ) .
