MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices inaugurates the Arada Premium Women and Children Health (WCH) Specialty Center, setting a new benchmark for women and children’s healthcare in Ethiopia. The facility directly addresses critical gaps in maternal and child health while improving the accessibility and quality of care.
Senior Government officials, healthcare professionals, partners past and present MSIE staff gathered at the center to celebrate the achievement, reaffirming their collective commitment to equitable and inclusive healthcare in Ethiopia.
Dr. Abebe Shibru, Country Director of MSI Ethiopia, welcomes attendees and highlightes the center’s transformative potential. He furthet expresses his pride in the milestone, saying, “This center represents a transformative step in addressing the healthcare needs of women and children. H.E. W/r Workesemu Mamo, Chairperson for Health, Social Development, Culture, and Sporting Affairs Standing Committee at the FDRE House of Representatives, praises the initiative. She also emphasizes the center’s alignment with Ethiopia’s broader goals to improve healthcare equity and serve underserved populations.

He subsequently calls the center a benchmark for future developments in specialized healthcare facilities, saying, “This center is a testament to the power of collaboration between stakeholders. The Arada Premium WCH Specialty Center delivers a comprehensive range of services, including maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) care, family planning, diagnostics, and emergency care.
