Research shows that these issues often stem from attachment disorders formed in childhood. Attachment disorders arise from difficulties in bonding between children and their primary caregivers.

Abuse, neglect, or unstable parenting can disrupt healthy attachment, leading to lasting emotional impacts. These attachment issues often manifest as deep-seated fears, insecurities, and relationship challenges in adulthood.

"Daddy or Mommy Issues" often mask the true depth of attachment disorders. Society often misunderstands these issues, leading to unfair blame and harmful stigma.

2001 was a significant year in the history of Ethiopia’s banking.

This is because ATMs were first introduced in Ethiopia in 2001.

The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) introduced local ATM services with a fleet of eight ATMs in Addis Ababa.

In 2005, CBE became authorized to issue Visa-branded cards and facilitate transactions on the global Visa network. While CBE pioneered ATMs in Ethiopia, private banks later became leaders in modernizing banking services.

After much anticipation, Ethio Telecom has finally gone public. Here are some details you must know:

- The company's valuation is ETB 300 Billion

- The company is offering 10% of its stake, which amounts to ETB 30 billion.

- Shares are being sold at ETB 300 per share

- A buyer can buy a minimum of 33 shares (ETB 9,900) and a maximum of 3,333 (ETB 999,900)

- The sale begins today (October 16, 2024) and ends January 3, 2025.

- Shares are sold through Telebirr SuperApp

Last month, ecommerce giant AliExpress made a significant entry into the Ethiopian market. Ali Express looks eager about its Ethiopian entry, launching a dedicated portal with exclusive perks.

Given how rapidly Ethiopia’s ecommerce is growing, AliExpress’ eagerness is quite justified. Last year alone, ecommerce revenue in Ethiopia has grown by 23%. Currently, there are more than a dozen ecommerce platforms in Ethiopia working to meet this demand.
