Что я купила на универском рынке за универские деньги:
1) Тоторо БРЕЛОК! Я так долго искала что то такое… Фильмы от Гибли ЭТО просто моя РИМСКАЯ ИМПЕРИЯ⭐️ . Я очень сильно люблю их всех и я так удивилась когда увидела брелочек ЗА ХОРОШУЮ ЦЕНУ🍵
2) Красивый комплект из сережек и кулона. Мне кажется очень необычно
3) Кольцо такое же. С тюльпаном😳 . Я обожаю тюльпаны .

В ОАЭ проводился хакатон которого спонсирует Nokia! Участвовали 104 команд и мы попали в финал!
Сегодня прошел финал и мы подучили второе место!
Мой вклад в команду это сама идея для приложения. Я очень рада что у меня была возможность участвовать в команде с такими гениями и креативными людьми!

Ну в общем ребята замечательный день был сегодня!
Я очень вкусно позавтракала и убралась в комнате!
Потом поехала в молл и купила там себе рюкзак🍵 . Потом очень дорого и вкусно пообедала (МЯСОО) и купила себе брелочек для сумки. Ещё успела доделать домашки и посмотреть документалку по First Year Writing Seminar.

Rejection doesn’t mean you are stupid or you are a failure, please don’t be harsh on yourself or think bad about yourself.
Admissions (to top unis specifically) is a VERY UNFAIR process. Don’t think that everyone who got into top universities is better or smarter than you. Maybe it could be but not always. Some people are just born in a right family, some people have a lot of money.
I don’t want to say that everyone who got in is like that, but if you didn’t get in don’t be too harsh on yourself please, and take a break from this chaos.
You deserve a rest.

Honestly did not enjoy any of them😒 . Communications lab was okay, but Data Structures was very strange and Professor literally started explaining out of nowhere, idk maybe I was tired 🙁 .

Зарафшан — индустриальный город, где добывается большое количество золота. Город кажется застрявшим во времени. Его архитектура напоминает эпоху СССР, как во многих постсоветских странах, но отсутствие крупных деревьев делает этот «постсоветский эффект» ещё более выраженным. Мой город выглядит именно так. Здесь не так много уютных заведений, куда можно было бы сходить, и иногда отсутствуют некоторые базовые продукты как лайм или голубика. Но здесь есть много того, что родное и близкое мне, что создаёт особую атмосферу уюта...

Я не успела создать вижн борд но скоро сделаю. Я думаю этот год получился просто замечательным и незабываемым. Я стала намного сильнее 💪. Хотя я все еще в полную не знаю что хочу от жизни , я знаю одно я хочу заниматься тем что мне нравится и быть одним из лучших специалистов в этой сфере.
Следующий год будет еще лучше я уверена в этом. Меня ждет замечательный семестр который я закончу на отличные оценки и поездка в желанную 🍋🇮🇹Италию о которой я так долго мечтала.

Well yeah it is not perfect however I am extremely proud of myself for making this far!
Course with extreme grading (95 is A). If you have a prior experience in Python or coding overall you won't struggle that much, exams can be a bit tricky tho. I had to work really hard for this one, specifically for the final exam (I got 100%). We have covered mostly Python and the final assignment was creating a game with your teammate.
This is a part of core curriculum and we mostly worked in teams. Overall course was very fun and workload was mid. We went to laboratory once and collected our own robot that follows the line and crosses the crossroad.
Probably the course I put the most hard work in but still couldn't get A. The grading was not harsh like intro to cs, however it was a very packed course since it combines two parts of calculus. Considering I did not have solid background in Calculus and Precalculus overall, I think I did a pretty good job.
Probably my most favourite class. In the beginning of my semester I hated this class wholeheartedly since it had 3 hours long lecture ( it was screening where we had to watch eco movies). In most of the cases movies were quite disturbing and depressing which put me in even worse condition when I was already homesick. However I learned a lot of stuff from this course and the best part about it was people. Almost everyone on this course was really nice, and the professor was the nicest one I have ever had.
This was my first semester overall. Manifesting As and more opportunities for the next semester!!

Hearing the stories my family members have shared has left me shaken for a while.
One recurring issue is the problem with appearance and the constant stereotyping, especially in educational institutions. In Uzbekistan, wearing a uniform is mandatory in most schools and even universities. While I don't see uniforms as inherently bad, the enforcement is often excessive. School administrations—and sometimes even the Milliy Gvardiya (National Guard) stationed at schools—believe they can judge a person’s character based solely on their appearance.
Naturally, boys' appearances are rarely criticized and usually ignored. Instead, all the attention is focused on girls. If a girl has long, braided hair and wears a long skirt, she’s immediately labeled as a good, well-behaved, and smart student. But dare she have short hair or wear black pants to stay warm because the school’s heating system doesn’t work properly—then she’s suddenly seen as a troublemaker.
This happened to my sister. Because her hair was dyed dark red, she was rudely scolded by the leader of the Milliy Gvardiya, who accused her of being a bad influence. He even had the audacity to say to my mother: “Our mission is to fight against students like THIS. Do you even check on your daughter before she leaves home?” For context, she was wearing an oversized gray sweater and oversized black pants.
Yes, perhaps dyed hair might go against school regulations. But does that justify speaking so harshly to a top-performing student? Should her hair color overshadow her academic excellence? Schools and officials seem to focus on all the wrong things.
There are far more pressing issues in schools that demand attention—like inadequate study conditions, failed water supply, broken heating systems, and the constant money gatherings. One recurring issue is the problem with appearance and the constant stereotyping, especially in educational institutions. In Uzbekistan, wearing a uniform is mandatory in most schools and even universities. While I don't see uniforms as inherently bad, the enforcement is often excessive. School administrations—and sometimes even the Milliy Gvardiya (National Guard) stationed at schools—believe they can judge a person’s character based solely on their appearance.
Naturally, boys' appearances are rarely criticized and usually ignored. Instead, all the attention is focused on girls. If a girl has long, braided hair and wears a long skirt, she’s immediately labeled as a good, well-behaved, and smart student. But dare she have short hair or wear black pants to stay warm because the school’s heating system doesn’t work properly—then she’s suddenly seen as a troublemaker.
This happened to my sister. Because her hair was dyed dark red, she was rudely scolded by the leader of the Milliy Gvardiya, who accused her of being a bad influence. He even had the audacity to say to my mother: “Our mission is to fight against students like THIS. Do you even check on your daughter before she leaves home?” For context, she was wearing an oversized gray sweater and oversized black pants.
Yes, perhaps dyed hair might go against school regulations. But does that justify speaking so harshly to a top-performing student? Should her hair color overshadow her academic excellence? Schools and officials seem to focus on all the wrong things.
There are far more pressing issues in schools that demand attention—like inadequate study conditions, failed water supply, broken heating systems, and the constant money gatherings. Worse, some students openly boast about corruption, claiming, “You can do anything with money. I’ll get into university with money, finish it with money, and find a job thanks to my father’s money.”
These are the real problems we need to address—not the hair color of a bright student.

Overall after math midterm it felt like everything ended and I have nothing to do when in reality I have even more things to do. I was always sleepy and whenever I would open my laptop to start doing my assignments I would just open youtube and watch useless videos. I just did not want to start, I did not want to do anything.
I guess this is what a burnout feels like.
Prolonged overwork and stress, unhealthy diet, constant exposure to screen and lack of fresh air and sunlight turned me into an apathic zombie this week
So if you are also having the same "symptoms" just think about it a bit and give yourself a break, water, fresh air, sunlight, and some fruits. You are not lazy, you are strong and capable of a lot of things)

Пожалуйста дорогие инженеры держите свое мнение о других направлениях при себе!
Каждый раз после разговора с инженерами я начинаю раздумывать сделала ли я правильный выбор. Могу ли я найти себе работу по своему направлению? И просто overthinking и в итоге испорченный день и муд.
Я очень много думала об этом и пришла к выводу что зачем мне отказываться от того что я хочу из за того что это сложно? В Computer science ОЧЕНЬ и ОЧЕНЬ сильная конкуренция, но это единственное что мне по душе сейчас. Я точно знаю что hardware мне совсем не интересен и в общем то что Comp Eng изучает. И я знаю если я хороша в том что делаю то я могу найти свое место в обществе.
Вот представь ты по приколу сказал фрешману что его degree useles. А тот фрешмен просто провел целый вечер в стрессе и передумывая всё.
Может кто то там знает чем что он/она хочет заниматься в будущем. Но я пока что нет. В школе я только занималась математикой, английским и физикой так как система такая, и сейчас единственное где я себя вижу это CS.

В субботу мы с классом отправились в поездку в оазис Аль-Айн, расположенный в Абу-Даби. С собой у нас было профессиональное оборудование, чтобы запечатлеть все красоты этого места.🍵
🐈⬛ Изначально я не хотела ехать из-за длительности поездки – целых 12 часов! Но, к моему удивлению,мне всё очень понравилось. ОАЭ постепенно покоряет мое сердце, хотя этот регион сильно отличается от тех шумных городов, к которым меня тянет. Здесь царит совершенно другая атмосфера – размеренная, спокойная. И, хотя зелени здесь не так много, как мне хотелось бы, я начинаю любить эту красоту пустыни.
🍵 Оазис Аль-Айн это огромный парк с разнообразными растениями, где на протяжении веков люди превращали пустыню в цветущий оазис. Здесь растет около 145 тысяч пальм!
🍵 Затем мы посетили историческую крепость, летний домик шейха, которому уже более ста лет. Нас угостили традиционным арабским кофе и финиками – арабская гостеприимность🌟 .
После насыщенной экскурсии мы отправились на обед и насладились вкуснейшим шашлыком.
И в конце дня мы побывали на рынке верблюдов. Мы даже взяли у верблюдов "интервью" по приколу. Вечером мы захотели полюбоваться закатом на большом озере, но не успели. Поэтому любовались небом😍 .
🐈 Эта поездка помогла мне по-новому взглянуть на ОАЭ. Я поняла, что здесь есть своя особая магия, которую нужно просто почувствовать.

Whenever you feel sad, depressed or stressed just remember what you have. Just be grateful. Look around and think about everything that you can see, smell and hear. Think about the things that you can do with the opportunities you were given. Think back to your younger self. How would they view your current life? Chances are, they'd be proud of how far you've come. It's easy to take our daily experiences for granted, but many people dream of living just one day in your shoes. You likely have the privilege of going to sleep without hunger or fear for your safety. In hospitals around the world, patients are praying for the health and opportunities you possess. Remember that time when you got sick? You wished your life could go back and you would be happy again. You probably wished for nothing more than to feel healthy again, to go outside, or simply to feel good. Don't let those lowest moments fade from memory – they serve as powerful reminders of life's blessings. Everything that you have, EVERYTHING is a dream for someone. Я уже второй раз переписываю это задание, и профессор попросил меня сделать это еще раз. У нас очень хороший профессор по кору и всегда даёт возможность исправить свою работу. За это я очень благодарна. Но все же, я не могу не задаться вопросом: почему я допустила столько ошибок?
Возможно, проблема кроется гораздо глубже. Дело в том, что в наших школах не уделяют достаточного внимания написанию объемных эссе и исследовательских работ. Многие ученики НЕ ЗНАЮТ как цитировать источники, определять плагиат и оформлять библиографию (I had no idea what was all of that before coming here). Лично я начала осваивать эти навыки только сейчас, в университете.
В нашей системе образования гуманитарные предметы часто сводятся к простому заучиванию материала. Даже если бы школы ввели больше проектов и научных работ, старшеклассники, скорее всего, не смогли бы уделить им время. Ведь основная часть их времени уходит на подготовку к сложнейшим вступительным экзаменам в вузы. Многие ученики занимаются с репетиторами по 5 часов в день 6 дней в неделю на протяжении нескольких лет (обычно 3 года), чтобы сдать два профильных экзамена и три обязательных. При этом количество абитуриентов, набравших максимальный балл, крайне мало.
Получается парадокс: школьная программа не готовит к поступлению в престижные вузы, поэтому ученикам приходится тратить огромные деньги на репетиторов. В итоге, мотивация к обычной школьной учебе значительно снижается. Школа должна быть мостом между школой и университетом, как минимум должна подготовить учеников к университету - чем моя школа как я понимаю не справилась.

ЭТО ТАКАЯ ИМБА! ОБСУДИМ?
🎵 Помогите я не могу перестать это слушать.
Альбом просто шикарный! И новые песни и старые песни с участием Лии звучат просто великолепно! Многим не понравилась заглавная песня и многие думают что эта песня больше подходит для группы NMIXX. По моему это совсем не так. Песня очень ITZY - coded - fun, energetic and loud. Мне она напомнила эру Wannabe, многие песни в этом альбоме именно в стиле GOLD. Что насчёт остальных песен в альбоме - они очень приятные и легко слушаются. Not very complex like the title track.
Personally for me Kill My Doubt is still the most favourite one with Born to be. But this album is much better than IT'Z DIFFERENT, NOT SHY and Guess Who. Like literally.
People just want to hate on ITZY cause it is trendy. There is no reason to hate them. I am sure if ITZY released NOT SHY right now, people would HATE IT. LIKE 100%. I am honestly not a big fan of NOT SHY and the album overall. I think it is their worst album.
GOLD on the other hand is VERY good. I love 'FIVE' and 'Supernatural'.

Сегодня опять учим калк👩💻
Уже как четвёртый день я работаю над калком, чтобы в итоге получить хороший балл. Результаты первого экзамена меня не удовлетворили . Я думаю это произошло из-за того, что это мой первый экзамен в таком формате. После того как я обсудила свою работу с профессором, я поняла, что мне только уверенности в своих силах не хватает. Я все правильно решила ,но не правильно описала🤩 . Чтобы быть уверенной в себе мне нужно знать материал на все 101%

Asian Economics Olympiad is an economics competition organized by the Kazakhstan National Economics Team!
📅 Registration Deadline: October 23th, 2024
📍 Eligibility: 9th-12th grade students
💻 Format: Online
The Olympiad is held in two stages:
First stage(October 26) - Multiple-choice and Free-response questions
Second stage(November 2) - Top 15 teams advance to the finals. They will have 24 hours to prepare a solution for a given business case
Want to participate? Gather a team from 3-5 students and register using a link 💎
