In so-called "Lugansk People Republic", Russian occupiers kidnapped Serbian man Dragomir Topalovic, who believed in the Ruzzian world and went to help in Lugansk as a volunteer.

On this day, November 21, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom and the beginning of Euromaidan.

Back in 2013, the current government of Ukraine made a decision to suspend the process of integration with the European Union just a few days before the Vilnius summit. This made thousands of people to gather in the Independence Square (Maidan) in the center of Kyiv. Ukrainians were serious about protesting, especially after years of deep political and economic crisis caused by the de facto dictatorship of the Donetsk mafia in the form of the Party of Regions and their Communist Party allies. We simply didn't want to join Euraisan Union as we recognized ourselves as a part of the European civilization!

By that time, Euromaidan had several thousand activists and was peaceful. Very soon this resulted in dramatic events that led to a real revolution and irreversible changes in all state and social processes of Ukraine and gave rise to the modern generation of heroes of the nation. For the first time in the modern country's history, government officials, politicians and criminals felt unsafe before the might of common folks who had a will to fight for their rights and homeland.

This morning, Russia struck the city of Dnipro with Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) equipped with MIRV warheads (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicles).

Each MIRV warhead carries six independent warheads that separate upon the missile’s re-entry into the atmosphere, with each independently targeting a designated location.

The recording was published on the Telegram channel "Moscow Laundry," which is reportedly linked to Russian intelligence services.

The German Free Democratic Party, after the collapse of Scholz's coalition, intends to put the issue of supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine to a vote in the Bundestag next plenary week — DPA

The Biden administration has lifted a de facto ban on American military contractors deploying to Ukraine to help the country’s military maintain and repair US-provided weapons systems, particularly F16 fighter jets and Patriot air defense systems, an official with direct knowledge of the plan stated.

The new policy, approved earlier this month before the election, would allow the Pentagon to provide contracts to American companies for work inside Ukraine for the first time since Russia invaded in 2022. Officials said they hope it will speed up the maintenance and repairs of weapons systems being used by the Ukrainian military.

It is not clear whether Donald Trump will keep the policy in place when he takes office in January. Trump has said he hopes to end the war between Ukraine and Russia “within 24 hours” of returning to power.

He will arrange a peace summit. He will suggest both parties stop fighting. They won’t unless Russia gives in on their needs.

After that Trump can claim he tried peace. He will then put some ultimatum on Russia so he can point to the claim he made, that if he would have been the president then Russia would never have attacked.

He will take money and spend it in America and then allow US weapons to be shipped from US military storages and send the bill to Europeans. He will sell this to the US as him doing good business.

RUSSIAN INTEREST RATES HIT 21%

The real inflation rate this signifies is around 40%. The increase from 19 to 21 raised a lot of eyebrows and indicates that the central bank is looking at even higher rates of inflation than anyone expected. It means that real inflation has either shot up or they’re trying to curb the rate of increase by pushing harder on the brake.
In economic terms a 21% interest rate isn’t just pushing down the brake very hard in a normalised western economy. It would be a fat lady jumping on the brake with both feet from a ladder.
To put this in perspective the interest rate is now at what Russia itself termed in March 2022 as ‘emergency’ levels - back then it was used to stabilise a collapsing Rouble.
The Russian bond market dropped again - showing that even with high interest payments foreign lenders aren’t interested in buying Russian government debt, and domestic lenders rather than taking advantage are thinking this is now getting too dodgy to risk. They see inflation outpacing any interest payments by so much it’s not worth doing it. Add to that capital gains taxes at high levels and there’s no point.
Russia is driving its economy into a mountainside at ever increasing pace. It’s almost as if they have the binoculars the wrong way round and think the mountain is 10 times further away, rather than ten times closer than they think it is.
There is an age old maxim that ‘war economies never result in collapse until they do’.
It is quite shocking how long the Nazi war economy kept going. It was only really after August 1944 that the signs of collapse became obvious. The Russians captured the Ploesti oil fields in Rumania - putting Germany out of reach of any oil supply that wasn’t derived from its coal-oil conversion plants. They were eventually bombed out.
Once the allies won the Battle of the Bulge in December the speed of decline was precipitous as everything collapsed.
Russia faces a point where if its oil industry is hammered, its losses become too much and its income continues to fall, with international payments increasingly difficult and businesses collapsing because of inflation/interest rates on commercial borrowing, it’s going to have no way out. Short term it could print more money and improve liquidity but that’s just a sure fire way of boosting inflation like a rocket, so if they have any sense they’d avoid that option.
Let’s not forget either that Russia doesn’t even have the overseas assets in the west that it had as collateral. Its cash held on deposit is now being turned into Euro and dollar loans to Ukraine - financed by the interest on Russian financial assets held in western banks. Ukraine won’t pay a penny. Russia seems to see the money as simply gone for good, but they’ll want it back as part of any long term settlement. It may be all they have left.
The state national reserve is dwindling constantly- falling from some $179 billion at the start of the war to $42 billion now. It really isn’t going to last long. Once it’s gone Russia becomes illiquid. It literally doesn’t have the money to pay anyone without ‘printing’ it. And you know where that ends: financial collapse and civil unrest.
