You don't see forests nor flowing rivers, yet it is visited by millions each year and is blessed with a spring of healing water that does not dry - Zamzam.
People from all over the world come to this rough terrain with zeal and passion and leave with nostalgia, having experienced the most moving and amazing trip in their life. Just ask any pilgrim !
The city of Makkah is a protected one, the one eyed imposter, a^war ad-Dajjaal, will not be able to enter it, just as he won't be able to enter al-Madinah.

من رأى عورة فسترها كان كمن أحيا موءودة من قبرها
Which means: the reward of the person who conceals the faults/sins of another is similar to the reward of the person who rescues a girl buried alive.

#Istighfar (to ask Allah for forgiveness) is a type of dhikr too, it is done by many statements, like saying: “Astaghfirullah”,
“Rabi-ghfirli”, or “Ghufranak”, or “O Allah forgive me”; all of these give one meaning which is: Asking Allah for forgiveness, all of these are called istighfar. Also if one makes istighfar for himself and did not mention other than himself he will get reward. However, if he mentions himself in the istighfar along with other than himself he will get more reward; like if he says: “O Lord
forgive and forgive my parents” or “O Allah forgive me and forgive so and so”. If one goes beyond that and generalizes his istighfar he will get even more reward like saying: “O Lord forgive me and forgive the believer males and females”.
If the person makes istighfar for himself and did not mention others, this is called Religious Istighfar, which will earn him reward. If he mentions his parents, it will be more beneficial like saying: “O Lord for give me and forgive my parents”, when the good deeds are displayed to the parents they will see this istighfar, they will say: Where is this from? They will say: This is from the istighfar, which your son made to you, after your death. By this, the son would have benefited himself and his parents. All of these statements are called Religious Istighfar

Allah said in the Qur’an:
﴿يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءامَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا، وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلا﴾
Verses 41-42 of Surat al-Ahzab mean: “O you who believed mention Allah a lot and make tasbih <to say ‘subhanallah’> at the beginning and at the end of the day.”
Dhikhr (mentioning Allah) has types: All of what is said in praising Allah is dhikr, tasbih (to say “subhanallah”) is dhikr, tahmid (to say “alhamdulillah”) is dhikr, takbir (to say “Allahu akbar”) is dhikr, and tahlil (to say “la ilaha illallah”) is dhikr. The best type of dhikr is tahlil (to say “la ilaha illallah”), supplication (du^a)’is dhikr; and the best dhikr is “la ilaha illallah”, then comes after the takbir (to say “Allahu akbar”), the tasbih (to say “subhanallah”), and the tahmid (to say “Alhamdulillah”.
The most beloved words to Allah are these four: “La ilaha illallah”, “subhanallah”, “alhamdulillah”, and “Allahu akbar”. It was mentioned in what pertains to the merit of tasbih that the one who says “subhanallah wa bihamdihi” will have a palm tree planted for him in Paradise

The accountable person (mukallaf) is the one who is pubescent, sane and has received the message of Islam. The male becomes pubescent when one of two things occurs:
1- seeing the seemen {maniyy} or
2- reaching 15 lunar years of age.
The female becomes pubescent when one of three things occurs:
1- seeing the seemen {maniyy} or
2- menstrual bleeding {period} or
3- reaching 15 lunar years of age.
As such there are three {3} types of people who are not accountable for their deeds in the Hereafter:
the child who died before becoming pubescent;
the person whose insanity ensued {happened} before pubescence, then remained throughout puberty until his death;
and the pubescent, sane individual who never received the call of Islam, i.e., the basic message which is the Testification of Faith, that “no one is God except Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”.
Allah said in Surat al Isra’ verse 15
{وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولا}
The verse means: [Allah will not punish in the hereafter those who do not receive the basic message {the creed of Islam} unless he reveals a messenger].
The prophet, salla-l-lahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:
"رفع القلم عن ثلاثٍ: عن النّائم حتّى يستيقظ، وعن الصّبي حتّى يحتلم، وعن المجنون حتّى يعقل" رواه الإمامُ أحمدُ
This hadith means: The Pen has been lifted from writing the deeds of three: the one who is asleep until he wakes up, the child until he becomes pubescent and the insane person until he becomes sane (narrated by Imam Ahmad).

The Personal Obligatory Knowledge of the Religion is the amount that one has to learn from among the Knowledge of Belief, rules of purification (taharah), the prayer (salah), fasting, and judgments pertaining to dealings for the one who engages in transactions. Among other issues about which one must know, the sins of the heart, the organs, the tongue and the like are included. Moreover, the one for whom az-Zakah is obligatory has to know about the obvious judgments pertaining to az-Zakah, and likewise those of Pilgrimage (Hajj) for the one who is able to perform it. The prophet, salla-l-lahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:
"طلبُ العلمِ فريضةٌ على كُلِّ مُسلمٍ"

The knowledge of the Religion is among the best of the acts of obedience; and it is the most worthy of allocating the precious time it takes to acquire it. This is especially so because at-Tirmidhiyy related that the Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: what means: <<Allah facilitates a route to Paradise for he who follows a route to seek knowledge>>
The greatest of all knowledge is that of the fundamentals of the creed. This is why the Messenger of Allah taught it to the Companions prior to teaching them the rules of the Religion. In his book, Misbah az-Zujajah, al-Busiriyy classified as sahih what Ibn Majah related that Jundub Ibn ^Abdullah, may Allah raise his rank, said: what means: "We were with the Prophet of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, as young men. We learned the matters of the belief before we learned the Qur'an. Then we learned the Qur'an which added to our belief."
^Aqidah (creed) advocated by Shaykh Fakhrud-Din Ibn ^Asakir, may Allah endow mercy on him, to contain a multiplicity of meanings in spite of its brevity. In it, the author summarized the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama^ah with a few brief terms. Its words are easy for children to memorize and enjoyable for adults to study. Furthermore, it became famous among the Muslims. These qualities inspired us to explain its terms in order to facilitate learning and to propagate its message without using lengthy explanations.

The Order of Creations
After Allah created the water and the Throne, He created the Upper Pen, then the Guarded Tablet, and then the rest of the creations
The Upper Pen and the Guarded Tablet: It was narrated in the description of the Guarded Tablet that it is a white pearl and its edge is made of red ruby. Its width is the traveling distance of five hundred (500) years.
Allah ordered the Pen to write. The Pen wrote, by the Will of Allah, without anyone holding it. It wrote on the Guarded Tablet what was and what will be in this life until its end. Fifty thousand (50,000) years after this event, Allah created the heavens and Earth in six (6) days. No person is born and no drop of water falls except in accordance to what was written in the Guarded Tablet.
Earth: The Earth that we are on is one of seven (7) Earths that Allah created; it is also the highest one. Each Earth is separated from the other. In the seventh Earth there is a place called Sijjin. The souls of the blasphemers go there after their bodies decay, until the Resurrection (Ba^th). Hellfire (Jahannam) is under the seventh Earth. It is the fire with which Allah threatened the blasphemers and sinners among His slaves. Allah created this Earth during the first two days.
The Seven Heavens: After Allah created the Earth, He created the seven heavens. Each heaven is a solid body that is held up without any pillars. The heavens are separated. From one heaven to the other is a distance of five hundred (500) years, and every heaven has a gate.
The first heaven is so far away from the Earth. Some people are unable to encompass this to the extent that they believe that the space which contains the stars and planets is the entire universe. They also falsely believe that it extends without an end. There is no point to their claims, because Allah told us in the Qur’an and the Prophet also informed us in his hadiths what is contradictory to their claims. Paradise exists above the seventh heaven.
The Earth: After the creation of the seven heavens, Allah created what is on the Earth: rivers, trees, mountains, and the like.
Adam: Allah then created Adam on the last and sixth day, which was Friday. Adam was the last kind of the creation, humans. He is the first of the prophets. Allah created him from clay after it was mixed with water from Paradise. From his left rib, Allah created Lady Eve (Hawwa'). Angels, jinn, and animals were created before Adam.

#Istighfar (to ask Allah for forgiveness) is a type of dhikr too, it is done by many statements, like saying: “Astaghfirullah”,
“Rabi-ghfirli”, or “Ghufranak”, or “O Allah forgive me”; all of these give one meaning which is: Asking Allah for forgiveness, all of these are called istighfar. Also if one makes istighfar for himself and did not mention other than himself he will get reward. However, if he mentions himself in the istighfar along with other than himself he will get more reward; like if he says: “O Lord
forgive me and forgive my parents” or “O Allah forgive me and forgive so and so”. If one goes beyond that and generalizes his istighfar he will get even more reward like saying: “O Lord forgive me and forgive the believer males and females”.
If the person makes istighfar for himself and did not mention others, this is called Religious Istighfar, which will earn him reward. If he mentions his parents, it will be more beneficial like saying: “O Lord for give me and forgive my parents”, when the good deeds are displayed to the parents they will see this istighfar, they will say: Where is this from? They will say: This is from the istighfar, which your son made to you, after your death. By this, the son would have benefited himself and his parents. All of these statements are called Religious #Istighfar

Why was this named by that?
The heart was named ‘Qalb’, a word which is derived from the Arabic word “Taqallub” meaning “instability” because it changes frequently and rapidly. Its unstableness is quicker than the movement of the boiling water. And here we would like to mention the importance of keeping our hearts steadfast on faith in Allah, the Exalted, a faith inclusive of the ultimate conviction clear from any doubt.
{إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا ...}[سورة الحجرات /ءاية ١٥]
Verse 15 of Surat Al-Hujurat means: [The believers are those who believe in Allah correctly and His Messenger and do not have any doubt.] A doubt is something which occurs in the heart. Therefore preserving one’s heart is critically important because the heart is the origin for one’s organs, if it is corrected, then the rest of the organs are corrected, and if it is corrupted, then the rest of the organs will consequently be corrupted. Having a doubt in Allah or His Messenger or the Religion of Islam is blasphemy, causing one to fall out of the circle of Islam.

All Messengers came with the same religion but they differed in the laws revealed to them.
1) Imam al-Bukhariyy and Imam Muslim narrated that the Prophet
صلى الله عليه وسلم
said:
الأنبياء إخوةٌ لعلّات دينهم واحدٌ وأمهاتهم شتى
The hadith means that all Prophets came with the same Religion which is Islam, but the laws revealed to them might be different.
2) Hence, all Prophets starting with Prophet Adam including Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), ^Isa (Jesus), and the last of them all Prophet Muhammad called people to the Religion of Islam; to worship only Allah without associating partners to Him and to believe in the Messengers of Allah.
However, some Prophets differed in the set of laws that were revealed to them. For example at the time of Prophet Adam, it was permissible for the brother to marry his non-twin sister; however, this is not permissible in the laws revealed to Prophet Muhammad.
Likewise, at the time of Prophet Musa, they were obligated to pray two prayers only during the day and night, but in the laws revealed to our Prophet we are obligated to pray five prayers during the day and night.
3) Allah said in al-Qur’an:
{إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللهِ الْإِسْلَامُ}
The verse means: The only true religion accepted by Allah is al-Islam.
From this verse and the aforementioned hadith of the Prophet we understand that all Prophets came with the same religion al-Islam and we certainly love all the Prophets. 👇👇👇

ماذا كَانَ يَقُولُ حبيبُنا مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ وإِذَا أَمْسَى
رَوَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَغَيْرُهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ: (أَيْ عِندَمَا يَدْخُلُ فِي الصَّبَاحِ) «اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ». وَإِذَا أَمْسَى (أَيْ عِندَمَا يَدْخُلُ فِي الْمَسَاءِ) قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ».
قَالَ الْحَافِظُ ابْنُ حَجَرٍ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ » مَعْنَاهُ يَا اللهُ أَنْتَ أَبْقَيْتَنَا إِلَى هَذَا الصَّبَاحِ بِإِرَادَتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَنْتَ أَبْلَغْتَنَا إِلَى هَذَا الْمَسَاءِ بِإِرَادَتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَحَيَاتُنَا بِمَشِيئَتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ وَإِذَا مِتْنَا فَمَوْتُنَا بِمَشِيئَتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ، وَالنُّشُورُ هُوَ الْبَعْثُ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، أَنْشَرَهُ اللهُ أَيْ أَحْيَاهُ. «وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ» أيْ لا مَصِيرَ وَلا مَرجِعَ لَنَا إلا إلَيكَ، أنتَ تَبعَثُنَا مِنْ قُبُورِنَا.
أَصبَحَ: فِعلٌ لازِمٌ وفاعِلهُ ضَمِيرٌ مُستَتِر تَقدِيرُهُ هُوَ.
أمسَى: فِعلٌ لازِمٌ وفاعِلهُ ضَمِيرٌ مُستَتِر تَقدِيرُهُ هُوَ

#Istighfar (to ask Allah for forgiveness) is a type of dhikr too, it is done by many statements, like saying: “Astaghfirullah”,
“Rabi-ghfirli”, or “Ghufranak”, or “O Allah forgive me”; all of these give one meaning which is: Asking Allah for forgiveness, all of these are called istighfar. Also if one makes istighfar for himself and did not mention other than himself he will get reward. However, if he mentions himself in the istighfar along with other than himself he will get more reward; like if he says: “O Lord
forgive me and forgive my parents” or “O Allah forgive me and forgive so and so”. If one goes beyond that and generalizes his istighfar he will get even more reward like saying: “O Lord forgive me and forgive the believer males and females”.
If the person makes istighfar for himself and did not mention others, this is called Religious Istighfar, which will earn him reward. Be aware, all of you, from laziness (al-kasal). The Prophet, ^alayhi-s-salaatu was-salaam, said as part of his du^aa’: Wa a^oodhu bika min al ^ajzi wal-kasal. Al-^ajz means the weak endeavor in working for the Religion. It is not the weakness of the body. Many people have weak bodies, but when it comes to endeavor, they are stronger than men with strong bodies. Both weakness and laziness delay the person from reaching higher ranks”
One says: “Allaahumma innee a^oodhu bika min al-hammi wal-Hazan, wa a^oodhu bika min al ^ajzi wal-kasal, wa a^oodhu bika min al-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a^oodhu bika min ghalabati-d-dayni wa qahri-r-rijaal”
This du^aa’ is for relieving one from worries and concerns, sadness, laziness, the weak endeavor in the Religion (it was also said the bad misunderstanding), cowardliness, stinginess, debts, and from being harmed and humiliated by the people
BENEFIT: Among the benefits of this du^aa' is if someone is consistent in saying it, his heart will strengthen, meaning he will gain bravery, and he will be relieved from debts and worries and concerns, in shaa' Allah
One is advised to say this every morning and evening

The Messenger of Allah Salla l-Laahu ^alayhi wa sallam said what means: 'Whoever says in the morning and evening:
"رضِيتُ باللهِ رَبًّا وبالإسلامِ دِينًا وبمحمّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نبيًّا"
Three times shall be admitted into Paradise'.
This Dhikr means: “I have accepted, as I always will, that Allah is my Lord, Islam is my Religion and MuHammad is my Prophet”.
This Hadith means that Allah will save from the torture of Hellfire the one who says these words of praise daily three times in the morning and similarly in the evening after Maghrib.
This Promise from Allah is incomparably great, for despite how easy it is for the tongue to say these words lil-Laah, without much effort and in such a short time, the Muslim will be rewarded greatly simply for saying them. Tabaaraka l-Laah.

The Prophet of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: “La yadkhulul-Jannata qattat.”
Qattat is a term for the one who practices tale-bearing. This Hadith means that he will not be among the first people to enter Paradise; rather, the qattat will enter it after receiving the punishment that he deserves in Hellfire.

From the route of Abu Malik al-Harith bin ^Asim al-Ash^ariyy, may Allah accept his deeds who said: what means: The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: Ablution has half the reward of 'Iman (belief and/or prayer), saying al-hamdulillah (praising Allah) fills the Balance with reward, the reward of saying subhanallah and al- hamdulillah (praising Allah and clearing Him from non befitting attributes) fills what is between the heavens and earth, prayers prevent from sinning and guide to correctness, charity stands as a proof of belief for the donor, patience provides enlightenment along the correct path, the Qur'an either substantiates your good doings or substantiates your bad doings. Each person endeavors and either attempts to be obedient to Allah and save himself from torture, or attempts to follow the devil and ones desires and deserves the torture. Narrated by Muslim

From the route of ^Abdillah Jabir bin ^Abdillah al-Ansari, may Allah accept both of their deeds, who said “what means”: that a man asked the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, who said: Should you observe that I pray the five prayers that are written on one, and I fast Ramadan, and deem the lawful as lawful and do it and the unlawful as unlawful and avoid it, and I do not add anything to that, would I enter Paradise? He said: <<Yes.>> Narrated by Muslim.
