🔘 GOAT

What does GOAT stand for?

◻️Greatest of all time

GOAT is an acronym that stands for "Greatest of all time." You will most likely see the acronym in sports discussions when people are referencing the greatest athlete in a particular sport. You can also use GOAT to describe something that is really good, like a piece of pizza or TV show.

The acronym commonly appears in forums or on social media to discuss the best person or thing.

While GOAT is typically used sincerely to brag about someone or something, it may also be used sarcastically to make fun of a person or thing that is terrible.
For more fun and flare, add the goat emoji next to the GOAT acronym.

Famous GOAT Debates

There may be no greater pastime than debating who or what is the best of all-time, whether it be sports, movies, TV, music, or food. Here are some of the most famous GOAT debates:

Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James

This is one of the most famous GOAT discussions, especially come NBA playoff time. Supporters compare stats, dominance, competition at the time, quality of teammates, influence, and of course, championships. Just like the conflict in the Middle East, this will never be resolved.

The Godfather vs. The Shawshank Redemption

This one comes from IMDb (Internet Movie Database), which is an online database of movies and actors.
Users are allowed to rate how good or bad they think a movie is and these two movies are at the top of the list. Part of this is actually due to fans of The Godfather and The Dark Knight down voting the other movie in an attempt to get to number 1.

This opened the door for The Shawshank Redemption, which is one of the most played movies on cable TV. Get busy voting or get busy dying.

Chicago style pizza vs. New York style pizza

This GOAT debate is all about preference. You got the Chicago style, also known as deep dish, with an abundance of tomato sauce, cheese, and assorted toppings. Then you have the exact opposite with New York style thin crust, tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings. Can we just agree that both taste great?

Other GOAT Claims

Kanye West interrupts T Swift

Probably the most shocking GOAT claim ever was when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift after she won the VMA for Best Female Video.

He claimed that Beyoncé should have won because she had one of the greatest music videos of all time. His outburst birthed the "Imma let you finish" meme.

Muhammad Ali announces that he is the GOAT

We go all the way back to 1964 for the infamous interview with Muhammad Ali after he upset Sonny Liston. Ali declared that "I am the greatest! I'm the greatest thing that ever lived." Not much humility in that statement but there's no denying that he was the GOAT.

Example
This hamburger is the goat!!

⚪️ Tweenager

What is a tweenager?

◻️A pre-teenager

A tweenager is a person who is a pre-adolescent youth on the verge of becoming a teenager. The "tween" is typically between the ages 9 and 12.
Tweenager originates from "between" which refers to the age range where a young person transitions from child to teenager status. It became popular in the early-2000s as a way to describe these strange and usually awkward years. A tweenager is going through, or just about to go through, puberty, which greatly influences their physical appearance and social awareness.

While it is most often used to describe the awkward pre-teenager years, it may also be used to describe the general youthfulness of a person, regardless of his or her age. He or she may act or look like an eternal youth and be dubbed a "tweenager."

Example
My lil sister just became a Tweenager yesterday.
God help us all!

🔘 Left No Crumbs

What does left no crumbs mean?

◻️Completely dominated

Left no crumbs is another way to say that someone completely obliterated (in a good way) another person, game, performance, look, etc. People typically use it with the "ate that" phrase to emphasize someone's fantastic achievement.
There is no clear creator to attribute the phrase to; instead, it organically evolved out of the "ate that" saying on social media. It gained popularity in 2017 but took off in early 2018 and is similar to the "left no prisoners" saying.

Examples of when you would see it include on Twitter when a person is stanning their favorite musician or in a message from your work boyfriend remarking how well you did on your presentation. You may also say it in person to your BFF after she sings great at a talent show.

🚩Example

🔘 Name Shame

What does name shame mean?

◻️Inability to remember a person's name

Name shame is a term that refers to the inability to remember the name of a person with which you have spent a lot of time. The shame part of the term comes from the fact that you have spent a lot of time with the person yet you still cannot remember his or her name.

The inability to remember a name often happens because the person is not memorable or has a forgettable face. You cannot apply this term to people with memory loss issues, that's just not fair.

🚩Example
I've hung out with him in a group 4 different times yet I still can't remember his name.
