The Director General of Ethiopian Capital market announced the registration of two directives:

1. THE PUBLIC OFFERING AND TRADING OF SECURITIES
2. RECOGNITION OF SELF-REGULATORY ORGANIZATIONS DIRECTIVES

The “Directive on Public Offer and Trading of Securities” establishes rules for public offerings of securities in Ethiopia. It applies to all public securities offers, regardless of whether they will be traded on an exchange or over-the-counter (OTC).

The Directive for Recognition of Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) in Ethiopia provides guidelines for establishing, licensing, and regulating entities as SROs within Ethiopia’s capital market. Under the oversight of the Ethiopia Capital Market Authority (ECMA), this directive mandates that eligible entities, such as exchanges or industry associations, apply for recognition to function as SROs, enabling them to regulate their members, promote market integrity, and mitigate systemic risks.

የሰነደ መዋዕለ ነዋይን ለህዝብ የማቅረብ እና ግብይት መመሪያ ከ 3 ቀን በኃላ ወደ ስራ ይገባል ተብሎ እንደሚጠበቅ የኢትዮጵያ ካፒታል ገበያ ባለስልጣን አስታውቋል

የባለስልጣኑ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ሀና ተኸክሉ እንደገለፁት " ይህን ገበያ በስራ ላይ ለማዋል የሚያስችለው መሰረታዊ የህግ ማዕቀፎች መጠናቀቃቸው እና ለፍትህ ሚኒስትር መላኩን በመጥቀስ በዚህ ሁለት ወይም ሶስት ቀናት ዉስጥ ይፋ እንደሚደረግ አስረድተዋል።

ከ 100 በላይ ገፆችን ይዞል የተባለው ይህ መመሪያ ወደ ስራ ሲገባ በይፋ ገበያዉ ተግባራዊ መሆን እንደሚጀመር ይጠበቃል።
