For the last three years of full scale war by russia against Ukraine, we have mainly focused on countering russian propaganda -- what is aimed at promoting russian hegemony over Ukraine and what we often call "the free world". A world with democratic freedoms and values.
During these years of war to defend democratic freedoms and values, to defend Ukraine and the free world, the United States has been a partner and a strong supporter.
With the election of Donald Trump as the President of the United States, another source of propaganda has become a much stronger voice on the international stage. No longer limited to influencing the electorate in the United States, it is increasingly turning its attention to other countries.
Perhaps ironic, as it is labelled an "America First" political movement with an interest in US nationalist, anti-interventionist positions, it now appears more keen than ever before to influence the political directions in countries that are far away from America.
Examples of this includes efforts to influence the current elections in Germany, its support for Orban in Hungary and its criticism of repeating the fraudulent elections in Romania.
The movement is now actively colluding with a russian propaganda narrative to delegitimise and discredit the elected President of Ukraine. The current angle is an attempt to claim that "Zelensky was installed by the CIA".
During many years the CIA has certainly attempted to influence the world in a direction believed to be beneficial to US interests, both covertly and through soft powers. This is not a secret in itself, although MAGA supporters now claim that the CIA has been working against US interests. If that is true or a conspiracy theory is an internal matter for the United States to determine.
What can be said, is that the President of Ukraine was not "installed by the CIA" as it is now claimed.
This notion is a disrespect to the people of Ukraine who have fought for and gained their right to self determination.
Today marks the day in Ukraine of the Heavenly Hundred. People of Ukraine who gave their lives to achieve democratic self-determination. The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and international volunteers and supporters continue to defend this right today in a full scale war launched by a country who could not tolerate such self determination.
The choice of President of Ukraine, the very existence of a Ukrainian President, and no matter who the people chose to hold that position, is thanks to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. In this video we were working on our improvised stabilization point where we were receiving wounded and treating them before they reach doctors. We spent half summer there and provided aid to many wounded soldiers.
All the manipulations are done by professional paramedics, in controlled environment, during evacuation. All the patient were treated and made it safely further to the hospital with all the necessary care in full.
We are volunteers and not sponsored by the government or any other organizations, we regularly go to rotations where not enough medics and we work on evacuations and stabilization points, during summer rotation we evacuated many new soldiers who were released from the prison recently to be mobilized to the army. We find their stories unique and interesting so we decided to share on of them. We film our work to save it as an educational material so other paramedics can learn, also we try to document this events for the history.
