The officer disclosed that a significant number of soldiers had unofficially deserted their posts. Many of these soldiers had reportedly bribed their superiors to remain off duty while still being counted as active personnel.

The officer highlighted that due to widespread corruption, particularly involving the former Syrian defense minister, there were thousands of "ghost soldiers." Their salaries were sent to specific individuals from Syrian Ministery of Defense.

According to official reports from November 28th, some military units had operated with less than 30% manpower. This raised serious concerns about the overall effectiveness and readiness of the Syrian army, as it was estimated that most units were functioning at under 30% combat readiness.

These revelations painted a troubling picture of the Syrian military's operational capabilities and raised significant questions about the regime's ability to maintain control in the face of ongoing challenges. The officer's insights underscore the deep-seated issues within the military structure that contributed to its decline during that period.

Multiple Air Defense Systems were targeted and destroyed in the Khuzestan Province, including an S-300 Surface-to-Air Missile Battery, which provided Aerial-Coverage for the Bandar Imam Khomeini Petrochemical Complex, the Major Port of Bandar Imam Khomeini on the Arabian Gulf, and the Abadan Oil Refinery. Additional Systems were also struck in the Ilam Province, near the Tange Bijar Gas Refinery.

Iranian Officials have stated that the Attack has raised “Alarms” within Government and Military Circles, as Critical Energy and Economic Hubs are now seen as Vulnerable to Future Attacks from Israel or the United Stated. SDF Retaliation: Multiple Soldiers Wounded, 3 Vehicles Hit

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have conducted retaliatory strikes against Turkish military positions in recent attacks:

- Til Temir Countryside: Two Turkish bases were targeted, resulting in injuries to 8 soldiers and damage to 3 military vehicles.
