A general strike has been called and most of the major companies and car salesman have closed their businesses in this N Idlib town near the Turkish border. The business owners maintain that they are taking this step due to the customs taxes which has been imposed on them by the new government headed by Ahmad Shara’ (Abu Muhammad Jolani). They say it causes a big hardship on them and forces them to raise their prices.

Speculations on Assad’s Future Amid Russia-Turkey Talks

According to Clash Report, citing regional sources:

- If Russia and Turkey reach an agreement during the Doha meeting, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, his family, and some Ba'ath Party officials may leave the country.
- Russia is expected to propose names to Turkey of individuals who could represent opposition demands for a transitional process without Assad.

In a separate report by Bloomberg, quoting a Kremlin insider:
- Russia reportedly has no plans to secure Assad’s future, especially as the Syrian army continues to abandon its positions.

These developments come amid ongoing efforts to address Syria’s prolonged crisis. The discussions and potential outcomes could significantly impact the region's political landscape.

They announced the targeting of military leaders in Mount Zain al-Abidin, followed by another strike in Masyaf this morning. Yesterday, they succeeded in killing Brigadier General Oday Ghassah, head of the Military Security Branch, along with other key targets in the operational areas.

BREAKING: Hamas statement on the Ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel

“In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We commend the pivotal role played by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon in supporting Gaza and the Palestinian resistance, as well as the immense sacrifices made by Hezbollah and its leadership, foremost among them the martyred Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. We value the steadfastness of the Lebanese people and their ongoing solidarity with the Palestinian people in facing the zionist occupation and its brutal aggression. We ask Allah to safeguard Lebanon and its people from all harm.

The enemy’s acceptance of the agreement with Lebanon without achieving the conditions it had set represents a significant milestone in shattering Netanyahu’s illusions of reshaping the Middle East by force and his delusions of defeating the forces of resistance or disarming them.

We affirm that this agreement would not have been possible without the steadfastness of the resistance and the popular cradle that surrounds it. We are confident in the continued support of the Axis of Resistance for our people and their struggle through all possible means.

As we in Hamas closely follow the developments of this agreement in Lebanon, we express our commitment to cooperating with any efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. We are keen to end the aggression against our people within the framework of the national terms agreed upon, which include a ceasefire, the withdrawal of occupation forces, the return of displaced persons, and the realization of a genuine and comprehensive prisoner exchange deal.

We take pride in and salute the epic steadfastness and resilience of our steadfast people in Gaza, who, for over a year, have been writing with their blood and sacrifices shining pages in the continuous history of our people's struggle. We stand with them as one body in the trenches of defending our land and confronting the enemy's schemes, pledging loyalty to them until the aggression ends.

We call on Arab and Islamic nations and the free forces of the world to launch serious and concerted efforts to pressure Washington and the zionist occupation to end its brutal aggression against our Palestinian people and halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

We reaffirm that the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance will remain on the covenant, adhering to our national principles and legitimate rights, defending their land and sanctities until the occupation is defeated, removed, and the independent Palestinian state is established with Al-Quds as its capital.

Israel Agrees to Ceasefire in Lebanon: Key Details from a Political Source

A report from the Hebrew page Almog Boker has quoted a political source outlining Israel's stance on a potential ceasefire in Lebanon and its broader strategic considerations. Below are the key takeaways:

Conditional Ceasefire in Lebanon
Israel has agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon but emphasized that this does not signify an end to the conflict. The political source stated, "We will assess the ceasefire based on developments on the ground and act accordingly."

Lessons from the Gaza Ceasefire
The source drew parallels with the ceasefire in Gaza, during which Israel resumed fighting despite significant international pressure. "The security doctrine has shifted. Israel will now respond to any threat in Lebanon—a response that has been absent for the past 20 years," the source explained.

Strategic Reasons for the Ceasefire

At this stage, Israel sees the ceasefire as beneficial for several strategic reasons:

1. Avoiding UN Action: A ceasefire preempts a potentially unfavorable decision by the UN Security Council, particularly during the U.S. transitional administration, which could have imposed a ceasefire on Israel.

2. Rearming and Regrouping: The pause allows Israel time to strengthen its military capabilities and provide critical rest for its forces, especially reservists who have been fighting on two fronts for over a year. The upcoming U.S. administration is expected to make it easier for Israel to acquire essential weapons and broader international legitimacy for future operations.

3. Severing the Lebanon-Gaza Connection: A ceasefire disrupts the link between the two fronts, isolating Hamas in Gaza and undermining its strategic position.

U.S. Support Against Hezbollah

Israel has reportedly received official assurances from the United States, granting it freedom to act against any Hezbollah violations. This includes military responses to attacks, preemptive actions, and targeting Hezbollah’s efforts to arm or reinforce itself.

Hezbollah’s Weakening Posture

The source noted that Hezbollah is significantly weaker than it was prior to October 7, 2023. *"If we are required to return to fighting, we will do so with full force against an enemy that we have already weakened and will not allow to regain strength,"* the source stated.

This development underscores Israel's cautious yet calculated approach to managing its northern and southern fronts while maintaining readiness for any future escalation.

#Tel Aviv

Following his visit to Tel Aviv, the US envoy threatened to withdraw from mediating between Lebanon and Israel if an agreement is not reached within days.

So far, indications suggest that Netanyahu is unlikely to allow any agreement. His goal seems to be the dismantling of the Shia militia group Hizbollah, and Christian and Druze voices in Lebanon are starting to rise. The question remains whether Netanyahu will agree to limit Hizbollah's activities to politics only, or if he will allow the group to maintain a limited arsenal in the Bekaa region to support Assad's militias.

The issue appears to be more complex than just the Litani River and southern Lebanon.

The Shia militia group Hizbollah launched 150 rockets at Tel Aviv today, a new message that coincided with the mediation efforts of US envoy Hochstein. The move suggests that Hizbollah is either ready to escalate the situation or is in its final stages.

Humanitarian Crisis in Al-Hol and Al-Roj Camps: Families Trapped in Legal and Humanitarian Uncertainty

The Al-Hol and Al-Roj camps in northern Syria have become notorious for their harsh conditions, where families of alleged ISIS members are detained without legal action or trial. These sites, not meant for displaced persons but instead used to imprison individuals and families, have evolved into what many describe as open-air prisons, where people are left to suffer in legal and humanitarian uncertainty without knowing when or if they will ever be released.

Al-Hol Camp: A Detention Site With No End in Sight

Al-Hol camp, home to approximately 39,904 people, is primarily used to hold families of suspected ISIS members under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). These detainees, many of whom have been there for years, are left in overcrowded conditions, with little access to basic services or justice. The tragic death of a Tunisian child in the camp, caused by a lack of medical care, highlights the severe lack of healthcare and the dangers faced by vulnerable individuals in these camps.

Life in Al-Hol is a constant struggle. The detainees—mostly women and children—are subjected to deplorable conditions, with no clear path to legal recourse or release. They live in fear of being forgotten, trapped in a situation with no resolution in sight.

Al-Roj Camp: Years of Suffering for Migrant Women and Children

Al-Roj camp, similarly, houses families, many of whom are migrant women and children from various countries. These women, who are often referred to as "muhajirat," have been detained for years under harsh conditions. The camp suffers from a severe lack of basic necessities, including blankets, flooring, clean water, and adequate heating. In the harsh winter months, many families resort to dangerous alternatives such as using gas for warmth, further exposing them to the risk of accidents and health issues.

Despite their prolonged detention, the people in Al-Roj remain in legal uncertainty, with no clear timeline for their release or any hope of justice. They are caught in a system that offers no answers, only a continuing cycle of deprivation and uncertainty.

Urgent Need for Legal Action and Humanitarian Assistance

Both Al-Hol and Al-Roj camps represent a humanitarian disaster that requires urgent international attention. The families held in these camps, many of whom have no connection to ISIS or its ideology, are trapped in a never-ending cycle of suffering. These camps are not refugee sites—they are detention centers where individuals are held without trial, legal rights, or due process.

Immediate humanitarian aid is essential, but equally important is the need for legal action. Families must either be released or given a clear path to justice. The lack of legal action and transparency, along with the ongoing suffering in these camps, calls for an urgent global response.

Rodionov added that Russian forces have not withdrawn from any position in this area, but instead have reinforced their presence through these observation points.

Struggling Idlib Faces Winter with Rising Costs and Hardship

As winter approaches, the situation for displaced people in the Idlib region is becoming increasingly dire. The cold season is particularly harsh for families living in camps and makeshift shelters, who already face the daily challenges of displacement and poverty. The freezing temperatures, lack of proper insulation, and limited access to basic necessities only worsen their suffering.

In this context, the recent decision by the Al-Julani-led administration to raise the price of a barrel of improved diesel by nearly five dollars has sparked further frustration and anger among local residents. The price hike, which affects displaced families as well as the owners of machinery and vehicles, adds a significant financial burden to those already struggling to survive.

The price increase comes as many families in Idlib are preparing for the winter months, when the demand for heating fuel typically rises. The raised diesel prices make it even harder for residents to stay warm, especially for those living in overcrowded camps with no access to proper heating or shelter.

For many, this decision feels like a further exploitation of their suffering. Rather than offering relief or aid during this difficult time, the move is seen as a way to profit from the hardships of the displaced, further exacerbating the challenges they face.

With the added pressure of rising costs and the coming winter, the people of Idlib find themselves in a tough position, struggling to make ends meet in an environment that offers little in terms of support or assistance. The increased diesel prices are just one of the many ways in which the residents of the region feel the weight of both the ongoing conflict and the local administration’s policies.

As the cold sets in, many hope for a change that prioritizes the well-being of displaced people, rather than exploiting their vulnerabilities for profit.

The Arrest of Abu Ubaida: Protests Against HTS Corruption Lead to Kidnapping

In a disturbing development from Idlib, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani's forces, under the control of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), have recently arrested Amer Al-Salem, known as Abu Ubaida, after his involvement in protests against the group's widespread corruption and authoritarian rule.

Abu Ubaida was riding his motorcycle on the Atarib-Sahhara road when he was intercepted by HTS’s Shabiha militia. The Shabiha rammed their vehicle into his bike, causing him to fall, before violently beating and abducting him.

The reason behind his arrest is linked to his active participation in protests criticizing HTS for its mismanagement and repressive policies in the region. Al-Salem had become a prominent figure in calls for greater accountability, demanding an end to corruption and human rights violations committed by HTS leadership. His outspoken stance and involvement in organizing anti-corruption protests made him a target for HTS's security apparatus.

This incident is the latest in a series of crackdowns by HTS against anyone who dares to challenge their authority. With increasing public dissatisfaction over the group's governance, HTS has resorted to intimidation and violence to silence critics and maintain control over the Idlib region.

The arrest of Abu Ubaida serves as a stark reminder of HTS’s growing authoritarianism and its intolerance for opposition. As tensions in Idlib continue to rise, the future of the region remains uncertain, with local residents fearing further repression in the face of mounting dissent.

The Al-Zahra Mosque... which we are discussing:
A brother sent me this photo, in which the name "Ali" appears next to a verse.
I told him, "It seems they have written the names of the caliphs on the walls, not just Ali's."
However, this goes against the practices of the early generations of the ummah, as the four imams disapproved of writing verses on the walls of mosques. So, how can writing the names of the caliphs be permissible?!
What stands out to me is that this mosque bears similarities to husseiniyahs, along with other religious violations. Therefore, it seems likely that there are hidden motives behind the construction of this mosque. Verification is essential, and altering some of its features is an obligation. And Allah knows best.
Tomorrow, with Allah's help, we will address all of this.

Clashes and Tensions in Daraa and Sweida: Daily Protests Continue

Local clashes continue between rebels and Assad militia in the provinces of Daraa and Sweida.

The Assad militia persists in provoking residents in both Sweida and Daraa by detaining civilians, particularly young men, as they pass through security checkpoints. The most recent tensions escalated into clashes and road blockages in Daraa's countryside, following the arrest of Mohammad Ali Al-Darawsha, a young man from the town of Eastern Karak.

On Thursday evening and Friday morning, rebels and local factions launched an attack on several Assad militia checkpoints in Eastern Karak, including those between the towns of Karak and Rakham, and Karak and Al-Ghariya Al-Sharqiya. Intense clashes broke out, with the Assad militia responding with heavy machine gun fire and artillery shelling.

In retaliation, the rebels targeted additional checkpoints, including the Western Mleha checkpoint in eastern Daraa, the checkpoint between Dael and Ibta in central Daraa, and the State Security branch in the northern city of Inkhel, using machine guns.

To show solidarity with the people of Eastern Karak, the rebels blocked the Damascus-Amman International Highway near Namer with burning tires and stones, and also shut down the road connecting Sweida to Izraa in northern Daraa.

Meanwhile, in Sweida, clashes broke out between local factions and Bedouin groups from the Al-Lajat region, involving machine guns and RPGs. Both sides engaged in a series of mutual detentions, but following the intervention of local elders, the dispute was resolved and all detainees were released.

Our reporters also documented two targeted assassinations: "Nawaf Al-Anbar" from the town of Khirab Al-Shahm in western Daraa, and "Mohammad Abu Marrah," from the village of Labin in Sweida's countryside, both of whom were killed by direct gunfire.

Additionally, local sources reported the death of "Dhufar Hassan Ibrahim," a member of the Assad militia from Sweida and originally from Latakia, as well as the killing of "Mohammad Said Al-Ghasin," a conscript in the mandatory military service, while serving in the Aleppo countryside. Al-Ghasin was from the village of Al-Sharayeh in the Al-Lajat area.

Along the Jordanian border, several drug smugglers were killed and others wounded while attempting to return from Jordan to Syria. All the smugglers were from the Bedouin tribes of Sweida.

At the Golan Heights border, several rockets and drones were fired from southern Lebanon, hitting the Golan region. Iraqi factions also launched multiple drones at the area, but the Israeli occupation army successfully downed one of the drones in the village of Saida, in the Quneitra countryside.

In Sweida, peaceful protests continue, with residents rallying daily for the 450th consecutive day in Al-Karama Square, demanding the overthrow of the criminal regime. Hundreds of people from Sweida and its countryside have gathered to participate.

This mosque, which we are discussing, bears several similarities to the Hussainiyyas:

First, the name "Al-Zahra" is a distinctive title used by the Rafidah (Shi’a sect), which they coined for Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). We will address this further.

Second, the architectural design of the building closely resembles that of modern Hussainiyyas.

Third, the mosque is dominated by the color black, both inside and out, much like the Hussainiyyas.

Fourth, some have pointed out that the way the name of Allah is written on the minaret resembles the script used in Iran.

Fifth, even the Friday preacher wore black!

Given all these similarities, one might wonder if they are merely coincidental. If only one or two features resembled the Hussainiyyas, we could dismiss it as accidental, but when multiple aspects align, it warrants closer scrutiny and investigation.

Further commentary and ruling will be discussed in the following article.

The Corruption of Al-Jolani and His Family: Exploiting the People of Idlib

A recent two-day internet outage in Idlib has revealed alarming truths about the widespread corruption of Al-Jolani and his network. For years, Al-Jolani and his family have been profiting from the people’s basic needs, especially through monopolizing internet services. The claims that these profits are reinvested into infrastructure are, in reality, a facade. Instead, the money is being funneled directly into their personal accounts, while the infrastructure remains largely underdeveloped.

Al-Jolani purchases internet data in bulk from Turkish suppliers for just $0.62 per megabyte and resells it for $2.25 per megabyte—an over 360% markup. For landline users, the price per megabyte is as high as $5, representing an 800% profit margin. These inflated prices exploit the people of Idlib, who are left with no alternative.

Al-Jolani’s telecommunications company justifies these high prices by claiming the profits are being used for infrastructure. However, there is no visible progress on these projects. The money generated is instead directed into Al-Jolani’s private accounts, with no accountability or transparency. The public is left in the dark about where their money is going, and the so-called “taxes” imposed on them are collected without any legal framework or receipts.

The corruption doesn’t stop at internet services. Al-Jolani controls monopolies on basic goods like fuel and food, taking advantage of the population’s need for these essentials. Meanwhile, Al-Jolani’s dispute with Mazen Marabi, a key internet supplier, highlights the extent of his greed. When Marabi requested a larger share of the profits, Al-Jolani refused, exposing the personal interests that drive his business practices.

The situation is further complicated by Turkish suppliers who are exploiting the region’s needs. These companies set arbitrary prices, with no oversight or regulation, further burdening the people. Al-Jolani’s political connections add another layer of corruption, with suppliers being threatened into complying with his demands.

The internet outage has revealed the depths of Al-Jolani’s corruption and the exploitation of the people in Idlib. The profits from basic services continue to line the pockets of Al-Jolani and his associates, while the people suffer in silence. The system is one of unchecked greed and oppression, with little hope for accountability.

As Imam Al-Shafi’i wisely said: "May Allah reward hardships with all good, even though they choke me with their bitterness, and my gratitude is not a thank you, but through it, I know my enemy from my friend." The people of Idlib are starting to see through the deception, but the question remains: how long will this corruption persist, and what can be done to stop it?

Syria Response Coordinators report that over 1,843 individuals have been displaced from 37 villages and towns in northwestern Syria in the past 48 hours. This surge in displacement is a direct result of ongoing military escalation by Syrian regime forces and their allies, along with an increase in attacks on residential neighborhoods and agricultural areas.

The displaced populations primarily come from the western Aleppo countryside and the eastern and southern Idlib regions, with children and women constituting 81% of those affected, according to the Coordinators.

Civilian Displacement Renewed by Assad Regime’s Indiscriminate Targeting in Syria

According to the Response Coordinators of Syria, a renewed wave of civilian displacement is occurring from villages and towns near the front lines due to the Assad regime and its allies' indiscriminate targeting of these areas. After a brief pause in movement and the return of some families, the escalation of military activity has forced many civilians to flee.

Displacement has primarily affected regions in western Aleppo and eastern and southern Idlib, impacting over 37 villages and towns. Initial assessments indicate that more than 1,843 individuals have fled the area in the past 48 hours, with children and women making up 81% of those displaced.

The Response Coordinators warn that the ongoing military escalation by the regime is likely to lead to further displacement and increased population density, especially in camps. Humanitarian conditions are worsening, with response rates failing to meet needs—only 37% of requirements in affected villages and 24% in displacement camps are being met. Humanitarian agencies are struggling to secure adequate provisions for the newly displaced.

Field teams from the Response Coordinators are actively working to assess and record the number of individuals displaced to new areas.

Hassan Al-Matramawi Released After Four Years in Al-Julani's Prisons

Hassan Al-Matramawi, known as "Hassan Sheikh," has been released after spending four years in the custody of al-Julani. His father tirelessly advocated for his release, emphasizing the importance of family support for detainees.

Many families who do not speak out for their loved ones risk losing them entirely, as those without advocates often face tragic fates, including being killed and buried in unmarked graves.

This release brings attention to the ongoing struggles of detainees and their families in the Idlib region.

Hizbollah Rockets Continue to Pressure Israelis

According to Israel’s Channel 12 Hizbollah rockets smashed through the mostly abandoned village of Metula killing five Israeli’s. It isn’t yet clear if they were civilians or military personnel. Most of the rural villiage inhabitants fled the area months ago due to constant shelling by Hizobllah from across the border in defense of the people of Gaza currently undergoing a genocide at the hands of Israeli forces.

Metula is a very strategic town that lies directly on the border with Lebanon and due to his high elevation, gives the Israeli government a clear view of all happening in the immediate area on the Lebanese side of the border.

Muslim Ban
In the first month of his Presidency in 2017 Trump ordered a travel ban from several predominantly Muslim countries.

Embassy to Jerusalem
In 2018 as president, Trump relocated the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the entirety of the city to the exclusion of any Palestinian right. In 2020 Trump stated that “Jerusalem will remain Israel’s undivided capital.”

Cut UNRWA Funding
In 2018 former President Trump cut UNRWA funding which provides essential services to Palestinian refugees.

Endorsed Israeli Settlements in the West Bank
In 2019, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, representing Trump stated, “The establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not, per se, inconsistent with international law.”

Support for a Muslim Database in America
In November 2015, during an interview with NBC News, Trump was asked if he would create a database to track Muslims in the United States. He responded, “I would certainly implement that, absolutely.” When pressed further on whether there should be a database for Muslims, he reiterated, “I would certainly look at it very seriously.”
In a similar context, Trump was also asked by reporters about the idea of requiring Muslims to carry special identification cards. While he did not explicitly confirm support for this, he did say, “We’re going to have to do things that we never did before,” suggesting openness to policies that target Muslims.

Trump has since walked back some of the statements regarding support for a Muslim Database but his initial support for the idea has left people wondering if he went back on his previous statements due to widespread condemnation and pressure or because he repented from his previous ideas.

The foundations of Belal Alzuhair’s faith in Donald Trump not clear. However in an interview after the rally Alzuhairi was confronted with some of the above mentioned past deeds and comments committed by Trump and he said, “We want to move on from the past.”

Kamala Harris’ support for the genocide in Gaza coupled with her refusal to distance herself from the genocidal policies of the Biden administration has made her a toxic choice as well for president leaving many Muslims looking to support third party candidates.

“We are with President Trump because we want a strong border.”

These are some of the statements he made in his endorsement of Trump to a raucous crowd in Michigan. Below are several acts of the man he endorsed:

‘Man of Peace’

In March of this year as Israel was in the midst of bombing hospitals and refugee camps Trump made no condemnations whatsoever to the mass killings that the entire world has witnessed. Instead he said regarding Israel, “You have to finish up your war.”

He also said regarding how Israel is going about the war, “I’m loving the way they’re doing it, because you’ve got to have victory. You have to have a victory, and it’s taking a long time,” Trump said in an interview with The Hugh Hewitt Show that aired in April of this year.

Alzuhairi said:
“”We, as Muslims, stand with President Trump because he promises peace-he promises, peace, not war.”
And he also said in his speech:
“The bloodshed has to stop all over the world, and I think this man can make that happen. I personally believe that God save his life twice for a reason.”

“We support Donald J. Trump for his commitment for promoting family values and protecting our children…”

“We as Muslims support this man, because we believe that he will be a president for all Americans embracing every race color and religion.”

US Assures Saudi to ‘Defend them Against Attack’

According to a report by Bloomberg, the US has assured Saudi Arabia that they will come to their defense in the event of an attack against them. It isn’t clear if this was communicated during the US Secretary of State’s most recent visit a few days ago to the region. This is significant because the Iranians warned Gulf countries not to allow the Israeli’s to use their airspace to attack Iran. It is possible that the Gulf countries are complicit in the current attack on Iran and needed those assurances from Washington.

Turkey: Recent Attacks and Responses

In recent weeks, Turkish intelligence apprehended an individual in Russia with links to the PKK organization, who was subsequently extradited to Turkey to face trial.

On a recent day, a man and a woman attacked the headquarters of TUSAS, an aircraft manufacturing company in Ankara, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to fourteen others.

The attack is believed to be a response to the recent arrest, with some linking it to a statement made by Devlet Bahçeli, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party, who had called for the dissolution of the PKK.

Initial reports suggested hostages were involved in the incident; however, it was later clarified that the individuals seen in distress were employees taking cover under desks.

Investigations indicated that one of the attackers had previously been a member of the PKK.

In response, the Turkish military targeted 32 PKK positions in northern Syria—specifically in Ain al-Arab, Qamishli, Hasakah, and Tal Rifaat—as well as in Iraq. The National Army also took part in these operations, employing mortar fire.

It is noteworthy that Assad's forces have historically provided support to the PKK, using the group as a means to counter the Syrian revolution and to exert pressure on Turkey.
