Sheikh Abdu Razzaq Al-Mehdi Shared the Following Message He Received:

"Peace and blessings be upon you, our Sheikh.
I swear by the One who has no god but Him,
Sheikh Abdul Rahim Attoon stated in his lectures for the 'Khutbah Preparation' program:
The Imami Shia are not disbelievers, and no scholar has declared them as such.

Additionally, another person remarked: 'We were mistaken when we said that democracy is disbelief.'

Sheikh Attoon holds other views as well.

Our Sheikh, I know this man personally and can confirm that he did not hold such beliefs until recently. It is only in the past year, around 2023, that he began promoting these ideas.

There is no power and no strength except with God."

Humanitarian Crisis in Al-Hol and Al-Roj Camps: Families Trapped in Legal and Humanitarian Uncertainty

The Al-Hol and Al-Roj camps in northern Syria have become notorious for their harsh conditions, where families of alleged ISIS members are detained without legal action or trial. These sites, not meant for displaced persons but instead used to imprison individuals and families, have evolved into what many describe as open-air prisons, where people are left to suffer in legal and humanitarian uncertainty without knowing when or if they will ever be released.

Al-Hol Camp: A Detention Site With No End in Sight

Al-Hol camp, home to approximately 39,904 people, is primarily used to hold families of suspected ISIS members under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). These detainees, many of whom have been there for years, are left in overcrowded conditions, with little access to basic services or justice. The tragic death of a Tunisian child in the camp, caused by a lack of medical care, highlights the severe lack of healthcare and the dangers faced by vulnerable individuals in these camps.

Life in Al-Hol is a constant struggle. The detainees—mostly women and children—are subjected to deplorable conditions, with no clear path to legal recourse or release. They live in fear of being forgotten, trapped in a situation with no resolution in sight.

Al-Roj Camp: Years of Suffering for Migrant Women and Children

Al-Roj camp, similarly, houses families, many of whom are migrant women and children from various countries. These women, who are often referred to as "muhajirat," have been detained for years under harsh conditions. The camp suffers from a severe lack of basic necessities, including blankets, flooring, clean water, and adequate heating. In the harsh winter months, many families resort to dangerous alternatives such as using gas for warmth, further exposing them to the risk of accidents and health issues.

Despite their prolonged detention, the people in Al-Roj remain in legal uncertainty, with no clear timeline for their release or any hope of justice. They are caught in a system that offers no answers, only a continuing cycle of deprivation and uncertainty.

Urgent Need for Legal Action and Humanitarian Assistance

Both Al-Hol and Al-Roj camps represent a humanitarian disaster that requires urgent international attention. The families held in these camps, many of whom have no connection to ISIS or its ideology, are trapped in a never-ending cycle of suffering. These camps are not refugee sites—they are detention centers where individuals are held without trial, legal rights, or due process.

Immediate humanitarian aid is essential, but equally important is the need for legal action. Families must either be released or given a clear path to justice. The lack of legal action and transparency, along with the ongoing suffering in these camps, calls for an urgent global response.

Lebanon:

U.S. efforts, led by Amos Hochstein, to broker a ceasefire in Lebanon have so far been unsuccessful. The Lebanese Hezbollah, however, has agreed to the terms and is prepared to implement UN Resolution 1701, including withdrawing behind the Litani River. This comes after a visit by Ali Larijani, which appears to have been aimed at facilitating Hochstein's efforts. Nevertheless, Tel Aviv insists on receiving a green light to strike Hezbollah in Lebanon if the group violates the agreement.

Additionally, the rebels have surrounded the State Security Branch checkpoint in the town of Inkhel, intensifying pressure on the Assad regime to release both the child, Ward Al-Halawiya, and his father.

Al-Jadeed correspondent reports: The Israeli army has advanced beyond the town of Shma'a in southern Lebanon and is now on the outskirts of the town of Al-Bayyadah, over 6 km deep into Lebanese territory. If it manages to push past Al-Bayyadah and reach the town of Naqoura, it will have gained control of the strategic coastal line of the southern border towns.
