I had the pleasure of meeting Reverend Paul Persson, a key figure linked to the establishment of the Nekemte Health Science College. This institution, founded in 1951 GC, stands as one of the oldest of its kind. It owes its inception to Swedish missionaries, among whom were members of Reverend Paul's family.
Reverend Paul shared the rich history of the college with me. His father played a crucial role in its foundation, while his mother served as a nurse at the Nekemte Specialized Hospital during the same year. Their contributions, along with those of their team, have been instrumental in shaping the college into the esteemed institution it is today.
