RBI Grade B 2024 - Some learnings/observations from Interview candidates for future exams' aspirants
(Based on their biodatas and interactions with 20+ candidates)
1) Almost 90% of the people were working. And almost all have worked in more than one organization.
2) Not a very relevant point, but only 5% were females out of total strength.
3) Almost every person had an attractive biodata, including their hobbies, achievements, courses, etc. Hardly any column was empty.
4) For working aspirants, their profile was mostly related to their job experience and related achievements.
5) Freshers had completed some relevant courses related to finance and economics.
6) Many people had participated in extra curricular activities like Sports, dance, etc.
7) Here's the fun part. Out of 4-5 freshers, 2-3 had higher self confidence than almost every working aspirant! And they performed extremely well.
8) One of the most confident person admitted that his confidence is due to his physical activity (he practices an extreme physical sport)
9) Another candidate remained calm and composed throughout. He practises meditation regularly, which was mentioned in his biodata.
10) Not even a single candidate was able to answer all questions. Everyone got stuck. The best ones got stuck in the most basic questions sometimes.
11) Still we claimed they were ready and didn't need to do anything more.
12) On knowledge, most of them had atleast some idea on multiple topics, no matter what subject we asked them. Silence was a rare occurrence.
13) And finally, almost one third were from IITs or some similar college. This might discourage a lot of you, but then, see the other side too. The glass is still half full.

Front running is an unethical trading practice where a broker or trader uses advance knowledge of pending large orders of clients to trade ahead of them for personal profit. They execute personal trades before processing clients’ orders, taking advantage of expected price movements.
For example, Lets say a broker gets an order from a major client to buy 500,000 shares of XYZ Co. Such a huge purchase is bound to drive up the price of the stock immediately, at least in the short term. The broker sets aside the request for a minute and first buys some XYZ stock for his/her own personal portfolio. Then the client's order is executed. The broker immediately sells the XYZ shares and pockets a profit.

Today IBPS PO Bhubaneswar centre:
Exam started half an hour late since there was some system issue. Even after starting, some candidates faced problems.
I understand that slight issues are normal while dealing with such systems, but the complaints are rising day by day.
It would be better if everyone who has dealt with such a situation atleast makes a collective effort of registering a complaint on the IBPS portal, and sending an email, giving details of everything that happened.
There's not much we can do. So this might be our only hope 🙏
