In this Post, we will talk about the perfect Strategy & methods to improve your Marks or Percentile in Mocks. Since we have now less than 40-45 days in hand for the prelims exam to start.

⭐ QUANTS

1. Start your day by taking Quizzes on particular topics like DI, SIMPLIFICATION, QUADRATIC EQUATIONS .( Refer to Adda & PM )

2. Give at least 2 sectional Tests daily from Now onwards . ( Refer to Any Platforms )

3. You can skip arithmetic, if you haven't covered any particular chapter. But I advise you to go through at least some chapters which are easy ones and won't take too much time to learn . You can practice some popular chapters like Time & Work , Profit & Loss . Do the basics of these chapters from any teacher and solve at least 100 questions to get some idea of the questions that can be asked.

4. Learn Squares till 30 & Cubes till 20. Tables till 30 are must to remember. Give at least 1hr daily on your calculation part. Just do a lengthy calculation by yourself. Like multiplication of 3 or 4 digit figures. Division of 6 digit figures by 2 digit figures. Visualise yourself and do calculations. Do perform this calculation part every day and after 20 days you will see a remarkable shift in your speed.

⭐ REASONING

1. QUIZZES of Puzzles & Miscellaneous parts . ( Refer to Adda, PM )

2. Every day take at least 2 Sectional Tests. ( You can refer to any Platforms ) .

3. Improve your understanding of Syllogism, Blood Relations, Chinese Coding . For this you can practice by taking Multiple PDFs available on different platforms. You can also watch YouTube videos for a fast approach.

4. Puzzles are the key to gain maximum marks in the reasoning section. Practice at least 20 Puzzles daily either from QUIZZES or PDFs. Sources don't matter much , what matters is your practice. Don't go for shortcuts in puzzles. This topic demands your creativity of thoughts. Learn it by yourself, at the start you might feel that you are taking too much time in solving puzzles but after rigorous practice you will find your own tricks and short methods to solve puzzles. It is about visualization.

⭐ ENGLISH

1. Give 4-5 sectional Test of Prelims with deep analysis of vocabulary & error detection part.

2. Moreover, Practice QUIZZES whenever you are free like when you are walking on the road, eating, and resting. My point is that whenever you feel like you are free then you can take multiple quizzes.

3. Reading is the most essential part to boost your Comprehension & Cloze test areas. So, give at least 1 hr for reading purposes daily.

Keep in mind, You can give SECTIONAL Tests of any prelims. The thing which matters the most is to develop Speed & Concept .🫶

It's high time and IBPS PO MAINS Result is on the way!

AN INTERNAL UPDATE✔️

IBPS has booked the Venues in different cities for the commencement of INTERVIEWS. As per the update, Interviews will begin in the February, first week. However, the exact date is yet to be finalized.

Accordingly, if we assume the MAINS Result date then it must be released at least 10 days prior to the Interviews. Thus, by default we can conclude that MAINS Result is expected by 22nd January or around it.

MY SUGGESTION!

I suggest you to start preparing for INTERVIEW, if you think you will score 60+ in MAINS.

You won't have too much time left for your Interview, at max 25 days and the victims will be ones who'll be called for their INTERVIEWS with its commencement.

⭐TEST SERIES ANALYSIS.

1. OLIVEBOARD

This is by far the most relevant Mock Test as per the feedback. The question level is on the moderate side and similar to the exam level. Sometimes in Live mocks they decrease the level of questions but in PAID Test you will get the similar level and toughness of the exam. If your English and Reasoning is weak, you can definitely choose Oliveboard because the content they provide for these two subjects specially are TOP NOTCH. The interface is a bit inconvenient, a lot of improvement is needed in that area. If your percentile is always above 90 here then you are a promising candidate. Most of the banking aspirants are on this platform, so the real & genuine competition is here.

2. TESTBOOK

Another good Mock Test in the Market. Originally it made mocks only for SSC exams but from the past 5-6 years they have entered into IBPS world and has become a big player. Arithmetic & DI becomes too hard sometimes and goes irrelevant. Reasoning is on the moderate to tough side. English is very relevant and will definitely give you some good learning. Overall it is a good test series and preferable. You will get a High number of aspirants using this test series, so if your percentile is above 90 then you can expect your selection. The interface needs improvement and doesn't match the real one.

3. GUIDELY

The cheapest one I guess. But the quality is not so good and needs more upgradation. First of all in the English section there are too many mistakes and most of the questions are repeated from one mock test to another. Quant level is on the higher side and if you want to practice good arithmetic/DI, you can buy Guidely. But don't rely on DIs asked sometimes as it is not possible to complete within a time frame as they are too lengthy. Reasoning is moderate and near to the exam level but you will find mistakes in critical reasoning. This test series got popularity after giving a very high discount rate. 3-4 years back people didn't know about guidely. So, don't expect good competition here and percentile hardly speaks the facts. The interface is very good and similar to the exam.

4. PRACTICE MOCK

Good test series but it is a little bit on the higher side. Sometimes you will feel demotivated to see your marks in english and reasoning, though if you will work hard you will see a remarkable shift in your scores. A very good test series if you want to practice high level reasoning and english. Sometimes it contains mistakes in the questions. Quant is relatively better than other test series and very much authentic to exam level. A decent number of people attempt this mock test. The interface is smooth and good. Competition is average not too low nor too high.

5. SMARTKEEDA

Overall a very balanced test series to invest in. You will get a good quality of questions to practice. Mistakes are near to negligible. Interface needs improvement as it doesn't match the real one. Competition is not that high, so don't rely on percentile. You can go for practicemock or smartkeeda. They both are on the same level.

No one gave me any information over the Adda 24/7 Test series, So I haven't added it in my list .

⭐ADVICE:

If you can afford it then you can buy Oliveboard or Practice Mock, and add one more test series which you like.

Go for the test series which most of the people use. As it will give you the genuine and authentic position of yourself in this Cut throat competition.

Because in a small pond every fish feels like a King/queen until it meets a real shark in the ocean.

But it is at this moment that you have to re-think and prepare a road for your next big target which is SBI PO/Clerk. I know, it is difficult to possess the failures and overcoming it takes a lot of courage.

SBI CLERK Prelims is 45-50 days away which is the golden opportunity with its incredible high vacancies. Don't let it slip away or it'll be the biggest regret of your preparation journey.

Around this time, 90% aspirants will give up because no one can take failures for long and people change their course of direction.
