Course Representatives (CRs) Registration for the 2nd semester is officially open for all level students!

Steps:

👉 Choose a CR for your group by voting.
👉 The chosen CR of your group should REGISTER HERE.

📌 For more information about Course Representatives, please refer to the “CR Policy” below.

This semester, I have closely collaborated with university officials to enhance the Course Committee Meeting (CCM) system. The process has been made completely anonymous and significantly more efficient for CRs. Now, all CRs need to do is:
1️⃣ Facilitate the feedback process for CCMs via the university Intranet,
2️⃣ Attend CCM meetings and trainings to advocate for the interests of their respective groups effectively and other details mentioned in CR Policy

In Semester 1, we collected votes from nearly 3,000 students, listened to all feedback, and actively worked to address every concern raised. Your voices have been heard, and together, we have made meaningful changes.

It all began one day at the start of the first semester when Azimjon developed a severe headache and went to the medical center. He was referred to the hospital, where doctors discovered that Azimjan was suffering from sinusitis, requiring surgery. After receiving this diagnosis, Azimjan returned home to Bukhara to the surgery. Unfortunately, during the operation , Azimjan fell into coma. Since then, for the past three month our friend and fellow student, Azimjan, has been in a coma.

Now, Azimjan urgently needs another surgery to recover, but the cost is substantial—$81,000.

This is where our help is needed.

As the year comes to an end, we’d like to take a moment to distract you from your marathon of olivye and “seld pod shuboy” devouring (don’t pretend you haven’t been refilling that bowl all day!) to wish you a Happy New Year!

On behalf of the entire SU Team, WE wish you nothing but happiness, good health, and success in 2025.

Let’s leave all the sadness, stress, and broken New Year resolutions in 2024, and step into the new year with positivity, big dreams ...and maybe a little less seld pod shuboy salad in the fridge..


We hope to see you smashing your studies (with a little help from our revision sessions😏) and having a blast at all our upcoming events.

Remember, student life isn’t just about grades—it’s also about those late-night parties with WIUT SU.

🔵Swap opens on January 3rd, so get ready to negotiate like it’s a bazaar.

And lastly, a little tip for the holidays: don’t forget to pace yourself with the salads. There’s only so much mayonnaise one stomach can handle, and let’s not start Semester 2 in a food coma😅

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is now accepting registrations for the Roger Hatchuel Academy free training program, taking place in June 2025 in Cannes, France.

The Roger Hatchuel Student Academy is a unique 6-day educational program at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, tailored for final-year students. Since 2003, it has inspired the next generation of creative leaders by providing the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to explore various creative directions and launch a career in advertising and creative communications.

To be considered, nominees must:

-Be a final-year full-time student
-Be 18–25 years old (born on or after June 20, 1999)
-Demonstrate a keen interest in advertising and creative communications

Please note that the program is delivered in English. Only apply if you feel confident participating in discussions and collaborating with international peers.
