This is to inform you that our BEAP and BAQS teachers have kindly agreed to provide CPFS students with SUPPORT and will conduct EXTRA sessions on Friday. This is a chance to develop your skills in English and Maths. We RECOMMEND you to attend these classes so that you can get higher marks in future exams.

Here is the timetable for every FRIDAY class in BEAP 1, BEAP 2 and BaQS 1, BaQS 2 modules.

If you are competing your Secondary Education (11th grade of school or 2nd level of lyceum) in 2025 and planning to continue your studies at WIUT Foundation (Level 3)

Please note that ADMISSION to WIUT is open for the Academic year 2025-2026 🎉

Earn the UK degree with an international qualification at Westminster International University in Tashkent!

Here is what you need to do to start your application (for CPFS students only):

1. Register at admission.wiut.uz (https://admission.wiut.uz/). The instruction is below 👇

2. Get temporary proof of study at CPFS (for BEAP 2, BaQS 2) from Admin Unit and upload it in the admission site. You need to come to room 20, to the Pre-University department, on the 1st floor of Lyceum building.

3. Successfully complete CPFS Level 2. Then, in middle of June get Certificate with Transcript and upload instead of temporary proof of study.

4. If you study only BaQS 2, then meet English language requirements: https://www.wiut.uz/certificate-international-foundation-studies

5. If you study only BEAP 2, then meet Maths requirements: http://www.wiut.uz/math-exams

6. Upload all the necessary documents by the deadline.

Let us remind you that All 12 Teaching weeks and 2 Assessment weeks for Semester 1 have finished.

You will have New Year holidays starting from 23.12.2024 till 12.01.2025🥳🥳🎄🎄⛄️⛄️

Dear BEAP2 students,

This is a reminder about the upcoming Speaking Exam on the 16th, 17th and 18th of December 2024.
Check the exam timetable carefully.
Make sure you know the time and locations of your exams.
Arrive at least 15 minutes earlier.
Bring your Student ID to the exam. You will not be allowed into the exam room without it.
Be prepared and practice a lot with your speaking exam partner.

Note that at 17:00 the door of the admin unit will be closed, and portfolios will be taken out of the box. All portfolios, that come after 17:00 will be marked as LATE SUBMISSION and you will loose marks.

The DEADLINE for BEAP 1 Portfolio submission is TODAY, 11th of November till 17:00.
You have to submit your Portfolio to the "SUBMISSION BOX" in the Pre-University department, room 20 on the 1st floor of the Lyceum building.

Those who cannot submit the portfolio, need to inform the Admin Unit and submit MC form. The deadline is 20.12.2024 till 16:00

Dear Students,

While we as a University strive for excellence, growth, decency and integrity, unfortunately, there are some cases where individuals violate our norms, compromise our shared values and misbehave, to put it mildly…

1. Recently several students have been disciplined and strictly punished (some even suspended) for abusing their Face ID to allow strangers to have unauthorized access to WIUT.

We want to remind you of the importance of maintaining the security and integrity of our campus access protocols, particularly concerning the use of Face ID for entry.

Recently, there have been incidents where students have allowed non-students, including friends and acquaintances, to gain unauthorized access to the University premises by misusing their Face ID credentials.

This practice is strictly prohibited. Allowing unauthorized individuals to enter campus not only compromises the safety of our community but also violates university regulations. We take this matter seriously, and any student found to be abusing their Face ID access will face severe consequences, including disciplinary action that may lead to suspension or expulsion from the University.

We urge all students to adhere strictly to our access rules and to report any suspicious activity immediately. Your cooperation is essential in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.

2. Unfortunately, recently we have been addressed with concerns and complaints about improper language used at WIUT, many times aloud in public.

As a vibrant community dedicated to learning, growth, and mutual respect, it is essential that we maintain an environment that reflects our shared values, decency and cultural level. One aspect of this is our choice of language, particularly in public spaces on campus.

Why Language Matters

Using vulgar or swear words can create an atmosphere that is unwelcoming and disrespectful.

Here are several reasons why we encourage everyone to choose their words carefully:

1. Respect for Others: Our campus is home to individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Swear words can be offensive to many, and using them can alienate or hurt others. Respecting each other’s feelings fosters a more inclusive environment.

2. Professionalism: As representatives of our institution, the way we communicate reflects not only on ourselves but also on our community as a whole. Maintaining a professional demeanor helps us all to be taken seriously in academic and social interactions.

3. Positive Environment: A respectful language contributes to a positive atmosphere where everyone feels safe and valued. This is crucial for effective learning and collaboration among students and staff alike.

Your mark for BEAP1 In-class test 1 has been published on SRS system. In order to see your mark, you need to LOG IN to srs.wiut.uz with your ID number and password that you used to ENROLL. Then go to MARKS, choose Basics of English for Academic Purposes 1 and press TBA. If your mark is 40% and above it means you have successfully passed the first exam🥳. If your mark is less than 30% it means you will retake this exam in REFERRAL/DEFERRAL semester. If your mark is between 30-40%, it means you need to get higher mark for the next exams. Otherwise, you will need to retake in REFERRAL/DEFERRAL semester.
