I say this again and again the student of knowledge should invest in buying books and building their own libraries. Books are the weapon of the student of knowledge if you have no weapon with what will you defend your self with. Scholars of the past will self their furniture in their home just to buy books. Buy books even if you dont need them now you will surely need it tomorrow

One thing I find really helpful as a student is to know how and when to take step back,
During the journey of seeking knowledge you will face road blocks, when you feel really stagnant and frustrated start all over and review everything you’ve done so far.
For example If your halfway through the Quran and you cant seem to pass that point then take a step back and start from the beginning, take some time to review everything you’ve learned up to that point and renew your intention.
Come back to your memorization once you’ve solidified what you’ve done before and have renewed your niyyah.
If your studying Aqeedah and feel frustrated at certain points and you lack understanding on certain things, then sit back, pick up a beginner text like Usool Thalatha and start from the beginning to strengthen the basics.
If your studying bayna yadayk and you feel like you’re not leaning anything and feel like you’re in a slump, then open book one and read everything you’ve learned so far all over again, memorize all the Vocab all over again and make sure you don’t miss a single word.
Knowledge is simply constant revision, you will always be learning the same exact things, the same material from the same sources, the only difference is the levels become more advanced as you progress.
Learn how to take a step back and regather your thought process, motivation, and intention. By restarting whenever its needed you are grounding yourself more and more every single time.
Don’t make it a habit to constantly restart though, because constantly running back to the starting line can be detrimental to a student in the long run, but don’t feel scared to take a step back if you feel frustrated or are stuck with something.
A lot of people don’t do this due to the fear of their peers surpassing them, but if thats the case then you misunderstood what knowledge is, it was never a competition in the first place, so focus on rectifying yourself and giving yourself the reset you need.

Sulaymān At-Taymī (d.143H) said: "If I were asked, Where is Allāh? I would say, above Heaven. If they said, where was His Throne before He created Heaven? I would say, above the water. If I were asked, where was His Throne before He created the water? I would say, I don't know."
This Aqeeda Salafiyya
The Aqeeda of Imam Ahmad which he took from his teachers like Abdurrahman Ibn Mahdi, Yahya al-Qattan, Waki' ibn al-Jarrah, Shafi'i, Ibn Uyaynah etc
Who then took their Aqeeda from the likes of Amr ibn Dinar, Zuhri, Ayyub As-Sakhtiyani, A'mash etc
Who then took their Aqeeda from the likes of Anas Ibn Malik, Asma bint Abu Bakr, Usama ibn Zaid, Bara' ibn Azib etc
Who then took their Aqeeda from the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman Ali etc.
And the Prophet ﷺ took his belief from Jibril, and Jibril brought revelation from Allah
That is the Salafi Aqeeda and Manhaj
That is our belief, that we can trace its chain of transmission back to Allah عز وجل
The belief that was revealed to Muhammad ﷺ and passed down to us until this day.
None oppose it except that he's either a zindiq, mubtadi' or jahil.
