The deprived one is the one who turns the pages of Twitter, Facebook and then Telegram, and after that Instagram for long hours....

Then, he is unable to turn the pages of the Qur’ān!

I swear by Allāh! this is extreme deprivation!

Sin destroys the mind , the mind has a light and sin extinguish the light of the mind

Yes we should unite - and we ask to unite upon Tawheed and Sunnah, with the rejection of shirk and Bid’ah.

But if we ask a Shi’a don’t call upon Alī and respect the Sahābah, he will hate us. If we tell a Sufi don’t call upon saints and don’t dance in masajid, he will hate us. If we tell an innovator The Prophet ﷺ completed the religion so don’t innovate into it, he will hate us.

Then they accuse us of complicating the religion and splitting the people.

May Allah unite us upon the Haqq Aameen

Ramadan 2025 is your golden opportunity to break free from the forces dragging you down. These enemies weaken your faith, steal your time, and distance you from Allah’s guidance. But this month, you have the power to fight back. Recognize them, resist them, and reclaim your path to kheyr in this life and the next. Let’s expose them and learn how to defeat them once and for all.

1. The Nafs (The Self)

Your biggest battle is with yourself. The Nafs is naturally inclined toward evil, pushing you toward desires, temptations, and self-destruction. Allah says:

“Indeed, the soul is persistently commanding toward evil, except those upon whom my Lord has mercy.” (Surah Yusuf 12:53)

This Ramadan, discipline your Nafs by fasting with sincerity, as it weakens the hold of desires. Praying Tahajjud, as night prayer strengthens the soul. Making sincere du’a, asking Allah to purify your heart.

Allah promises success to those who purify their souls:

‎قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا ۝ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
“He has succeeded who purifies it, and he has failed who corrupts it.” (Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10)

2. Shaytan (Satan)

Shaytan is your open enemy. He has one goal: to lead you to Hell. Allah warns:

“Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy.” (Surah Fatir 35:6)

He whispers doubts, distractions, and procrastination. Worse than the devils from the jinn are the shayateen from mankind…those who corrupt you without you even realizing it.

This Ramadan, seek refuge in Allah by saying A’udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim when you feel tempted. Stay in a state of wudhu and dhikr, as Shaytan flees from the remembrance of Allah. Read more Quran, especially Ayat-ul-Kursi and Surah Al-Baqarah, as they weaken his influence.

3. The Dunya (This Worldly Life)

The Dunya is designed to distract you. Wealth, status, entertainment, and comfort can easily pull you away from your true purpose. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“By Allah, it is not poverty that I fear for you, but I fear that the world will be spread out for you as it was for those before you, and you will compete in it as they competed, and it will destroy you as it destroyed them.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This Ramadan, remember death often—this life is temporary. Give charity and detach your heart from materialism. Spend time in the masjid and replace distractions with worship.

4. Rebellion Against Allah (Disbelievers Who Lead You Astray)

There are people who turned their back on their creator by rejecting the truth and want you to follow them. Allah says:

“They wish that you disbelieve as they have disbelieved so that you would be alike. So do not take them as allies.” (Surah An-Nisa 4:89)

This Ramadan, start a journey to be mindful of entertainment that promotes kufr, sin in movies, music, and trends that can slowly alter your values. Avoid people who mock your Deen either with their tongue or by their actions but rather surround yourself with people who push you toward Jannah. Filter what you consume…media that normalizes haram is a slow poison.

5. The Hypocrites (Munafiqoon)

They dress like us, speak like us, but work against Islam from within. Allah warns:

“They are the enemy, so beware of them.” (Surah Al-Munafiqun 63:4)

This Ramadan, strengthen your knowledge so you’re not easily influenced. Follow the scholars of truth, not those who twist Islam for worldly gain. Make du’a for sincerity, asking Allah to keep your heart firm.

6. Ignorance

Ignorance leads to misguidance, doubts, and a weak connection with Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When Allah wishes good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This Ramadan, read Tafsir and understand the Quran deeply. Attend Islamic lectures by learning from reliable scholars. Ask questions because seeking knowledge is an obligation.

7. Bad Friends

Your company shapes you. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“A person is upon the religion of his close friend, so let one of you look at whom he befriends.” (Abu Dawood & Tirmidhi)

This Ramadan, cut ties with toxic influences, even if it’s hard. Surround yourself with righteous company, those who remind you of Allah. Spend more time in the masjid, replacing bad habits with good ones.

8. Wealth and Comfort

Money is not evil, but attachment to wealth can corrupt your heart. Allah warns:

“Indeed, your wealth and your children are but a trial.” (Surah At-Taghabun 64:15)

This Ramadan, give extra in charity to purify your wealth. Live simply and avoid excessive spending. Focus on the hereafter, as true wealth is in Jannah.

9. Laziness

Laziness prevents progress. The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge in Allah from it:

‎اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This Ramadan, have a schedule and plan your worship. Push through tiredness, as Shaytan whispers excuses. Seek Allah’s help by praying for energy and strength.

10. Social Media & Netflix

The biggest time-wasters of today. These platforms are designed to distract, addict, and corrupt. The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Be keen on what benefits you, seek Allah’s help, and do not be helpless.” (Muslim)

This Ramadan, reduce screen time and replace scrolling with Quran. Unfollow harmful content to protect your heart and mind. Use technology for good, like listening to beneficial lectures.

Final Advice

These enemies are real and dangerous. But Ramadan is your chance to break free. Make this month count by strengthening your relationship with Allah, replacing bad habits with righteous actions, and asking Allah for guidance and protection.

May Allah give us the strength to defeat these enemies and grant us success in this life and the next. Ameen.

Anas ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him) said:

There will come upon the people a time when holding onto the religion will be like holding onto hot coal. Tirmidhi

It appears that we are entering again those times that the prophet described, holding on to hot coals

.We need to equip ourselves with knowledge, strengthen our imaan by going back to the Quraan and sunnah , that's the only way we can await victory from Allah

Our Lord, shower us with patience, set our feet firm, and grant us victory against those who deny the truth Aameeen
