The results of our Legal English competition are in! 🔥

Now, let's move on to the award process. After consulting with our team, we have increased the prizes for the competition. As promised, top teams who scored at least 17 points from the list (the top 6 teams) will receive a certificate.

BUT, that's not all. We've decided to hold a second round of the competition💥
The top 6 teams will be invited to participate in the second stage. In this stage, they will showcase their knowledge of Legal English through various legal questions, and this time it will also include a court case process (we'll announce the legal topics and other specific rules 3 weeks before the competition).

The best part: The top 6 teams will not only compete for certificates in the second round but also for cash prizes.

👇The following cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in the second round:

🥇1st place – 1 million UZS cash prize
🥈2nd place – 750,000 UZS cash prize
🥉3rd place – 500,000 UZS cash prize

However, the remaining 3 teams that don't make it to the top 3 will also receive participation certificates.

The second round will be held in one month. The exact date of the competition will be announced on our @TOLES_TSUL channel.

⚙️ Bizning maqsadimiz:

🔴Zamonaviy yuristlarga xos bo'lgan til ko`nikmalarini shakllantirish

🔴Talabalarning huquqiy ingliz tili bo`yicha bilimlarini sinovdan o`tkazish

🔴Talabalarning tahliliy va tanqidiy firklashni oshirish

📖 Bellashuvda quyidagi mavzular asosida shakllantirilgan savolar taqdim etiladi:
1. The language of criminal law
2. The language of banking and commercial law
3. The language of real property law


🔈 Bellashuv quyidagi bosqichlarda amalga oshiriladi:

1️⃣- bosqich. Jamoaviy savol-javob: Bunda savollar umumiy tarzda jamoalarga o`qib eshittiriladi va yozma shaklda qabul qilib olinadi. Savollar soni esa 15 ta.

2️⃣- bosqich. Umumiy ingliz tilidan huquqiy ingliz tiliga: Bunda har bir jamoaga umumiy ingliz tilidagi tekstlar taqdim etiladi, jamoa a'zolari umumiy ingliz tilidagi tekstni qanchalik darajada huquqiy ingliz tilidagi so`zlar bilan almashitra olishi baholanadi.

3️⃣- bosqich. Sud keysi. Har bir jamoaga huquqiy kazus beriladi. Jamoa a'zolari o`zlaridan sudya, advokat, ayblanuvchi, jabrlanuvchi, prokuror, guvoh tayinlab masalani ijro qilib berishadi. Bunda talablarning muammoga kreativ yondashishi va huquqiy tushunchalardan foydalana olish darajasi tekshiriladi.

🖥 Tanlovda ishtirok etish uchun @TOLES_CLUB_DISCUSSION guruhiga quyidagilarni yozib qoldiring:

1. Jamoangiz nomi;
2. Jamoangizdagi har bir ishtirokchi ism-familyasi va nechanchi kursda tahsil olishi.

👥 Tanlovdagi har bir jamoadan 6 nafar ishtirokchi qatnashishi talab etiladi.

🏆 G'olib jamoalar sertifikat va esdalik sovg’a bilan taqdirlanadi.

📌 Tanlov vaqti: 17-oktabr, soat 15:00 da TDYU 3-bino fayasida o'tkaziladi va tanlovda faqat TDYU (Toshkent davlar yuridik universiteti)ning barcha bosqich talabalari ishtirok eta oladi

Department of Foreign Languages at Tashkent State University of Law in cooperation with the University of Arkansas School of Law will organize master classes on "The skill of inquiring and replying in question and asnwer sessions".
During the master class, the participants will be provided with information forming proper questions and generating appropriate responds.
Christopher R. Kelly, a professor of the University of Arkansas School of Law, will lead the training.
