An Anglo-Scandinavian disc brooch with a fylfot design, found in Thetford, Norfolk, 9-10th Century. This was a locally produced variation of a popular Viking Age design in Scandinavia. With this variation of the fylfot, one can easily see where the head and handle of the Big Dipper would be.

A lovely Celtic helmet of the Novo Mesto type, found in the Sava River, Croatia, 2-1st Century BC. The crest ends in a face flanked by two triskelions; possibly depicting a deity, watching over the warrior in battle. My guess would be Lugh, who was often depicted with three heads; this could explain the triskelions.
