Dear IIC members, kindly take note that there will be NO Invest Academy lesson next Tuesday (10/09/2024) in view of the club's Annual General Meeting 2024.

Registered members should have received a confirmation email and registration will commence at 6:15 p.m. A buffet dinner will be available for all registered members on a first-come, first-served basis.

Members who did not register are welcome to walk in after 6:45 p.m. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.

We strongly encourage your attendance to gain insight into the overall activities of IIC. While Invest Academy showcases the depth of our Research and Education arm, there’s also an untold story waiting to be revealed from the Financial Events arm.

Last week, we commenced our Invest Academy (IA) Lessons for the AY24/25 with an incredible turnout of close to 250 members. We had a fruitful session, setting the stage for what's to come. The purpose of IA is to unite NTU students who have a keen interest in the finance industry and the curiosity to learn practical investing skills and strategies.

Weekly sessions will be held every Tuesday, covering topics like macroeconomics, financial instruments, types of portfolios, and several other key concepts that one needs to know to be well-versed in the financial markets and start investing.

We’re excited about the journey ahead and are confident that by the end of the next two semesters, our members will have gained the knowledge and skills to navigate the financial markets with confidence. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to grow together in this ever-evolving field!

Nanyang Women In Finance will soon be hosting Irene Liu, an industry veteran who is currently Managing Director of Strategy and Consulting at Accenture. Irene will be sharing about her experience that she acquired at top consulting firms (Irene is a former Partner and CFO at PwC). She is a specialist in various sectors - risk analytics, data governance and financial expert.

Whether you're passionate about finance and consulting or just curious to learn more, we welcome you to join this talk! It is open to everyone, regardless of club membership status or gender (males/females/non-binaries can attend!).

What is this about?
We welcome all penultimate students from all majors and background to join us for this case challenge and have the opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded students during a case study challenge session and develop solutions on a selected business scenario. This is an exciting, collaborative and interactive event that will give students exposure to a realistic business case and help prepare them for our Assessment Center and beyond.


Students will be prioritized in the 2025 Corporate Analyst Development Program Summer (CADP) Internship Assessment Center. The CADP Internship Program is a 9-weeks program designed to develop Summer Analyst on their foundational skills within one of our lines of business or corporate functions, in one of three core business disciplines: Analytics, Project Management and Process Improvement.
