EYEWEAR TRIAL FOR KIDS

INCENTIVE
● Transport allowance: $160 (4 x $40 NTUC vouchers) - Kallang Bahru
● Essilor Eyewear (frame + lens) of choice at end of study (up to ~$740 value)

SCHEDULE (Weekdays between 9:30am - 4pm)
Screening: 1 visit (1.5 hours)
Eye Testing: 3 visits (1 hour max per visit)
Select Eyewear (1 hour)

REQUIREMENT
● Kids who are 6+ or 7+ years old only
● Myopic, between 0.5 to 4.75, wearing normal spectacle i.e. no other eye condition e.g. lazy eye, crossed-eye, turn eye, etc
● Less than 100 degrees difference between left and right eyes
● Astigmatism not more than 1.50
● NOT under special myopic control, e.g. wearing high end glasses, using atropine solution or Ortho K (hard lenses) or myopia control
● Agree to wear trial eyewear for ≥10 hours per day at least 6 days per week
● Have not taken part in the previous phase or screened-out, and siblings not in previous studies
