This is the stunning 16th-century Transfiguration Church in a tiny village called Ostrov outside Moscow 🇷🇺. Ostrov itself traces its history back to the 14th century as a favorite hunting spot of the princes and, later, Muscovite tsars like Ivan IV. The church was built in his time and is one of the most striking examples of Russian tent-roofed architecture.
