Let me tell you a fact.
My english marks in IFSCA Grade A are among Indiaโs top 5 scores for two consecutive years.
61 in 2023 (highest 65)
and 63 in 2024 (highest 68.5)
Both time, without a single mock test before exam.
I have got the idea about how to perform and score well in IBPS english with experiences after multiple phase 2 exams. Initially, I didnโt had idea.
My first english score was 51/100 in Nabard that was quite low. People got 63-65 at that time.
So, experiences make you wiser. Donโt think that your experiences would go waste.

The reason for decreasing 5 questions in Quant and Reasoning each is difficulty level.
Now, SBI PO exam is little on the higher side so they reduced 5 questions each because in 20min, it is highly challenging to do 35 questions of high level. So they reduced the number to 30 questions.
Hence donโt expect direct and simple DI and arithmetic there like Niacl AO or RRB PO

Thinking to switch now from regulatory to Upsc preparation for 2025 after a upsc preparation gap of 4 years. As there is certainty regarding dates, i can plan well.
Also, i have 4 attempts left for upsc, I need to take risk.
Though many things get compromised while going for this journey. So much to do, so little time. Unlike regulatory, where we can balance out the things.
Process is long. Either I have to do it in one go (at least any upsc post) or leave.
Ultimately, the upsc process wonโt be easy till August 2025. The big task is Upsc mains. So many papers. After that it becomes light to prepare for interview.
What do you suggest? Whether to go full fledged till August for this?

Few tips:
1. Be confident. 10 minutes of condifence is must there.
2. Listen carefully because it is video mode so keep your ears open.
3. Donโt panic if u donโt know the answer. Just say sorry sir or mam, i will read in detail about this. Donโt try to bluff or answer everything.
4. Be polite and crisp. Use examples of your state or district to support your arguments.
5. Know about yourself well and why you want to be in Nabard.
6. Try to stay neutral. Donโt try to think about whether she is nodding head or not. Just present your answer well without looking at expressions. But always look towards the screen and maintain good eye contact.
7. First impression is also important so first few minutes be very calm and answer what is asked nicely. Somehow if u couldnโt then donโt panic you still have 10 minutes to impress.
8. Youโll be very nervous immediately before your interview but donโt think it as interview.. take it as conversation. You need to be cool at that moment. Do practice for that too. Give multiple mocks and try to make yourself fearless and composed.
9. Your marks will highly depend on your 10-12 minutes performance. So donโt think that anyone is having edge or something. Do ur best. Even agriculture graduates get less marks. Your performance will decide more.
10. Questions or topics in Nabard interview gets repeated because they are limited so do see last yearโs transcripts and transcripts of students who will appear before you.

Let me share with you how Nabard interview will take place based on experience.

Then your interview will be over.
