My result was released yesterday, but I just waited for this result to come out so that I could post them back to back. My brother, Asliddin, was able to secure 8.5/C2 in this attempt. We both sat the test for fun, and I am more than happy that he succeeded. Keep up the good work, bro!

Hi everyone!

Sorry couldn't post for a while. The end of the academic year was somewhat demanding. But a lot happened in between. Today, I would like to share my latest result, which was the same as last year's. I took it with BC, again, and it was CDI, not papar-based. I am happy that there is no reduction in any section as I didn't have time to prepare properly. In terms of my first CDI experience, I'll do a separate post outlining the pros and cons.

PS. This is a downloadable version of TRF, hence the color.

The diagram demonstrates the construction and operation of a home smokery for the preparation of smoked food. Overall, it is apparent that a home smokery can be built using widely available materials, and most of the process takes place under the ground in an enclosed space. Most notably, this process makes skillful use of simple environmental processes such as air circulation to give food extra flavor and longevity.

A home smokery needs three holes of different width and length under the ground that must have a couple of lids and a box to cover. The first hole is the deepest one for letting air in, which can pass to the next hole with a medium depth. This hole is filled with logs that are burned constantly to produce smoke that moves to the next compartment through a pipe sloped slightly upward. The smoke has to go through bricks to reach meat products such as fish, which usually hang on the box above ground level. This smoke is supposed to impart a pleasant flavor to the meat and prolong its life.

One of our subscribers asked me for a sample answer. Enjoy!

The line graph compares the amount of money spent on monthly contracts. It covers four mobile operators over the first three quarters of the year 2002 in a country in Europe.

Overall, contract costs increased for Domo, Lex and Alpha, with the last operator showing a significant rise at the end of the third quarter, while Sim TX, despite initial increases, closed the third quarter with the same amount it had in the beginning.

During the first quarter, almost all companies experienced growth. Sim TXโ€™s figure dipped slightly in February but was able to recover quickly by March at 9 euros per contract. Both Lex and Alpha rose by a negligible 1 euro, with the former going from 12 euros to 13 euros and the latter from 5 euros to 6 euros. Meanwhile, the most expensive operator, Domo, recorded a stable rise and closed the first quarter with 17 euros.

The following six months were somewhat volatile, and all operators swapped their original positions as September drew near. The greatest increase was seen in Alpha: after a brief period of decline to 5 euros, the contract costs in this company skyrocketed to 25 euros in the third quarter, showing the highest figures among all. The prices of Domo and Lex also went up, albeit rather modestly and with short periods of stability and decreases. Domo finished at 23 euros, just behind Alpha, and Lex was third at 18 euros. The only company that showed an overall fall was Sim TX. Although it recorded rising numbers at 14 euros in June, the figures then plunged back to 8 euros by September, the lowest price of the four.

Finally, the result that totally made my day is this. Sarvar has been working in our center more than a year now and been involved in many projects that benefited most students. He is a rare breed I must say. The methods that he uses are, to put it mildly, unconventional and unique.

Considering the fact that he got an 8.5 in speaking in his previous attempt, the examiner giving him a 7.5 was a shock. He will apply for EOR because examiner did not do justice to his speaking ability which is at C2 level at the least.

But, against all odds, he pulled that off, and here it is, another C2 level teacher in the town.

BTW, THAT 8.0 FROM WRITING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. You can definitely learn something from him in terms of speaking and writing. Just follow his channel: @sanctumsanctorium

Khushnud is another determined fella with a lot of ambitions ready to make major steps in his life. Before the exam he told me that he wanted a 9 in one of the sections, but hey an 8.5 is also a C2 level and for me it is a 9. Anyways, my heartfelt congratulations!

Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by governments rather than private companies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is sometimes argued that governments ought to regulate how scientific studies are done compared to private entities. I totally agree with this point of view.

To begin with, if the research is controlled by the government, it will ensure that ethical rules are followed. That is to say, officials always require researchers to follow all the guidelines and standards set by the government and will hold them accountable for their actions. For instance, animal rights can be protected where the research involves testing on animals, and this will make sure that studies are carried out in an ethical and humane manner.

Additionally, government oversight also prevents distortion of research results. It is not uncommon for private companies driven by commercial interests to fund certain studies and make them downplay the findings to keep the public in ignorance. A good case in point is the research into the effects of a chemical called aspartame. The results of this study were downplayed and the negative impact of the chemical was largely ignored, as the main patrons were from the soda industry, which had its own interest in this research.

Furthermore, this can also help to achieve transparency. Government involvement means that other researchers will also have access to particular research, which will further encourage collaboration and build trust within the scientific community. Some might argue that private companies are more efficient and innovative, but they are mainly secretive and less likely to share their methods, findings and aims with wider audiences as these might be against their interests.

In conclusion, while private businesses can be efficient in doing research, I would argue that it has to be regulated by the government so that research can be transparent, follow ethical considerations and prevent any biased results.
