A newly published book on medicine for the first time has been published.
Abu Ishaq Ibrahim al-Qariji al-Andalusi (died after 637H.) who was one of the main physicians near the end of fall of al-Andalus.
The book talks about topics related to preserving the body from diseases, negative effects that can occur on body organs, herbal treatments, etc.
This book is based off three other famous books of medicine written by Andalusians:
1. al-Taysir fi al-Mudawa wa'l-Tadbir from ibn Zuhr
2. al-Kuliyat fi al-Tib from Abu Walid ibn Rushd
3. al-Adwiya al-Mufarida from Abu al-Abbas al-Nabati ibn al-Rumiya
Ustadh Al-Mahdi ibn Muhammad al-Saโidi helped annotate the book. He is doing a great job in publishing new books from Moroccan and Andalusi heritage.
