Personal Growth:
Ask ALLAH, SWT to reveal to you this month how to be better and do better. Ask for the strength to apologize where you know you have wronged someone.

Sustainable efforts:
As custodian of the earth, we are to prevent waste and preserve the planet. This Ramadan, try to bring your own water bottles and food containers. Unless the food/drink are already packaged, bringing your own containers allows you to control what you consume. Clean up staff is less likely to throw away what they might feel is abandoned food or water if it’s in a personal container.

Planning Ahead:
Do your food shopping as far ahead as possible and your meal planning, even include your Eid shopping so that the last 10 days of worship isn’t crowded with other external activities. You stand a better chance of getting the things you want before it’s sold out by planning ahead.
(2). If you’re going to do dietary changes like smoothies, try to add chia seeds, oatmeal, wheat germ and other healthy fulfilling and dense nutrients to tame your hunger.

Community Ties:
If you or a group of friends can, try to coordinate iftars for family, friends and co-workers, either at home or at a local restaurant. This will help to build good memories and encourage better connections. This works so well for children to invite their classmates.
(2) if there are halfway houses or youth centers in your community with Muslim populations, try to coordinate food donations/deliveries from the Iftar leftovers.

Safety and travel:
Try to car pool as much as you can, especially if you’re planning to visit different Masjids. This will help to free up more parking for the community. You will also have more than one driver, if needed.

Performance:
Even though you may travel a bit for Iftars, it’s probably a good idea to perform your Taraweeh salat at one Masjid so that you can complete The Holy Qur’an. Some Masjids may do 8 Rakats, while others may do more.

Consideration:
Try to schedule your time off for the Eid or last 10 days as far in advance as possible. It shows consideration for your co-workers when they are able to plan around your absence as well. This includes scheduling for school aged children.
(2) please do not forget about our new shahadas. If you haven’t seen them recently, then please find them and support them. This can be a very difficult time for them as the community seeks to perfect their own individual acts of worship and goals. Remember them especially for the Eid when families tend to group off after the Eid prayers and our new members are left out and don’t know how to navigate. This is never done intentionally. But think of how wonderful you would feel if you went to a foreign country where you didn’t speak the language well, and someone came up to you and made you feel special that entire day. It would be wonderful. So let’s do the same with intention.

It is the hope that these multipliers bring the joy of a good challenge and the reward of ALLAH, SWT’s Acceptance. Ameen!

I don't see events in the world as isolated events, war on Palestine, trump presidency, overthrowing of Asad regime in Syria, etc. These to me our not isolated events, but major events pushing history in a certain direction described by the Nabi as "jabbabirah" in the ahadith describing the timeline of history. It will all connected. Few events that are of major significance happen outside Prophecied historical tegectory.

fourth field of Islam is still expanding, the field of Islamic eschatology, even our earlier schalors ( Allah have mercy on them all) left big 3 books on the subject untouched by even their own research like books by kirab ul fitan by Nu'am bin Hammad.

The Next big fitnah will be the fitnah of ihlas, NABI ( blessings forever) described it like this

Now there are many instances of war and fleeing from war. They almost always happen together, so what could he ( blessings forever) be reffering to... whenever I heard this hadith I always put to the side because I was not able to connect it to any other hadith or ayahs. That's what my teachers taught me. If it's a stand alone hadith keep it to the side till Allah opens understanding for you. So last night I heard a schalor give a bogus interpretation to this hadith. So I looked every single hadith with the word ihlas. I went through them all. I tried to think of an ayah that seemed to connect to it's linguist meaning...or any other hadith meaning. I looked for 10+ hours. I still am not sure. But only 90% sure it is the fitnah of going to back to riding camels. This fitnah will lead to even more wars and more fleeing. Why did I say all this ? Trump is going to do what israel wants or get assassinated... Trump will have to do one thing to make israel happy. Remember dajjal will establish a government that will be just and happy on the outward sense. That is to attack Iran. Dajjal will start his base from Iran and goto Israel. When the war between the US and Iran takes place, it will 100% take place, the world will plunge into darkness. Internet will be gone, the US will win , but shattered, the oil industry will be destroyed, etc. In one hadith the Prophet ( blessings forever) said one blow and in another he said two blows and then Persia ( Iran) would be no more. Trump presidency is tied to war on Iran. Surah Rum menstions a war between rum and Persia , but America is not the Rum mentioned in Quran, Russian area is.

So these 4 years are critical and crucial. Allah knows best.

Iran will not be like Iraq and Afghanistan, Iran is going to permanently destroy US hegemony power, which is necessary for dajjals / Isreal government to be established as the strongest government. Anyway all this long winded writing to say , next four years we need to get ready....

In the light of the above here is an Islamic joke for a Muslim philosopher ,
teleology
is simplely another word for the will of Allah. Thus connecting prophecies with the hereafter which will lead one into a type of fana. On top of that a good dose of the Quran should really kick in a state of consciousness that gives deeper insights.

We should be extremely thankful to Allah for what He has guided us to.  I don't know how Allah plans to make some of these concepts reach the ummah but these are important concepts , which brings clarity to a lot of issues.  The ummah is divided between these perspectives,  look to the seen world ( majority) and look to the unseen world , and even fewer who look to both with the same focus and intensity , that it flows as one organic whole.   When the two eyes become one, is a type of fana.

On that note
One can say it's like having two eyes. Or like walking on the beach One foot on sand  and one foot in the sea shore. 

The sea shore... everything is by Allah's will & mercy.  Allah has allowed so many to goto jannah by this situation.  Everything to prepare the ummah happening and what the Prophet said is true.  Allah is also showing us that the ummah in the grips of divine punishment in Dunya but mercy in the next.  In this the heart is looking to the unseen.

On the sand, the shariah wants the ummah united.  We have to help our brothers and sisters.  We have to establish khilafah which is a fard kafayah.  We are not required to fight but the Army of the khilafah is.  In this heart is looking to the seen world and it's obligations

The situation between tbe two ( salt water and fresh water)  which is a type of barrier or barzakh in which we get guidance from Prophecies (blessings forever) Which tells us to prepare to save yourself, your families,  and communities by establishing a life outside the matrix. In this the person is looking to both the seen and unseen world.

Salvation can be had from any of tbe three perspectives,  the idea is to walk with
Islam ( sand )
Iman ( sea shore )
Ihsan ( sea shore and sand walking leaving perfect foot prints)
And alamaat ( the time of movement and direction of movement) as one organic  whole.

One day your mind can be on the sand, the next moment on sea shore, or the next hour on both or next whole week focused on the walking experience ( wind hitting your face)   etc
All these changes are called qalb which means to change.  It is a sign of a living heart.

One eye on the seen world and one eye in the unseen world.

Tragedy and Hope, Dr. Carroll Quigley, American (S)Election Circus, Two-Party Dialectics

With all the hysteria about the two parties and the candidates, please remember this quote from Dr. Carroll Quigley in his 1966 tome, Tragedy and Hope, pages 1,247-1,248.

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps of the right and the other of the left, is a foolish idea except to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy…..Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, un-enterprising and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it every four years if necessary by the other party, which will be none of these things but which will still pursue with new vigor approximately the same basic policies.”

Quigley was a professor at the (Jesuit) Georgetown University’s infamous Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) for 30+ years and was a globalist insider. He acted as an archivist for the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR).
Quigley completed his Bachelors, Masters, and PhD degrees at Harvard University. He taught classes to the US military, and also taught at Harvard and Princeton. He was a tutor to Bill Clinton among others. Clinton name-dropped Quigley as an inspiration right after he won his first Presidential election back in 1992.

As the “Quigley Formula” shows, right and left are meaningless divisions. There are no two parties. Rather there is a mono-party. The presidential circus race every four years is not an election but a selection. As mentioned previously, do not get bothered to vote in national elections. Your vote only has some influence at the local level, but not any beyond that. Any vote for either of the two parties is a vote for the establishment. Look at who funds the parties and who counts the votes. The Presidents are nothing but mere puppets for those who have real power.

And the goal is to move from the enjoyment of desire to the enjoyment of servitude,  and that leads to true happiness since that is why we are created, and part of this ( intellectual) servitude is to dive into Quran and get flashes of discovery like constellation.

I will point out the ayahs of dawah did not get canceled with the ayahs of jihad.  Meaning there is no nasikh and manookh between the ayahs that said " repel evil with good" meaning when they persecute you,  give dua to them,  these verses did not get canceled by ayaat of jihad (qitaal).  Why?  Because the issue of dawah and jihad are interrelated.  Some schalors of lesser knowledge have said , now jihad will continue , no matter the situation,  with or without the khilafah state till judgement day.  This is double wrong.  Why? There is no evidence big or small that nasikh and mansookh took place. 

In hadith literature also, the preferred method to deal with difference of opinion of two authentic hadith in the hanafi mazhab is nasikh and mansookh,  then  preference to one hadith over the other, then bringing the two hadith together the other mazhabs put finding a way to join a hadith together first, then preference of one hadith over another and then nashikh & manookh. 

The reason I mention this, the chapters of jihad in the hadith literature never were considered to cancel the hadiths of dawah.  Again pointing to the wisdom to why that was the case.  That is different times will require different types of responses.  We don't study the searah as an organic whole.  We can call this fiqh us seerah. Even though apparently or seemingly  there is such a big difference difference between the attitude of Mecca vs Medina and later the Islamic state. 

The Prophet ( blessings forever) went through both phases.  Extreme persecution with no state and times of jihad, international relations crisis when the Muslim ambassador was killed by the byzantine empire at the time of Thabook.

Medni phase  did not cancel out the mecci phase as a whole. The reason I want to point this out is because this is of great eschatological importance.

ANSWER to both questions was yes. Yes he ( blessings forever) looked into the mirror while combing and Yes he combed his beard with water starting from the right side.
