🌵Best Deeds Is When Doing It Regularly🌵

Narrated 'Aisha: Once the Prophet (ﷺ) came while a woman was sitting with me. He said, "Who is she?" I replied, "She is so and so," and told him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly, "Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly."

#Part 151

The Prophet ﷺ dies 🥀 💔(151)

The Prophet’s ﷺ strength began to ebb, and Aishah held the Prophet ﷺ against her between her breast and throat.

Just at that moment, her brother Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr entered the room, holding a root (Miswaak) used to clean teeth. Aishah saw the Prophet ﷺ looking at the Miswaak, so she asked him if he wanted it, and he nodded. She took it, and after chewing the end a little to soften it, she gave it to him.

A bowl of water was kept near the Prophet ﷺ , and he dipped
both his hands into it and wiped his face saying,

“There is no god but Allah. Verily, these are the pangs of death.”🥀

He either lifted up his hands or pointed his forefinger toward
heaven. His voice was weak, but ‘Aishah could hear him speak as he raised his eyes and repeated three times:

HADEETH

“With the blessed from among the prophets, the evertruthful, the martyrs, and the righteous! O Allah, forgive me and have mercy on me. I choose to be with the exalted companions! O Allah, the exalted companions!”🌹

Abu Bakr unties the Mourners As the news of the Prophet’s failing health spread among the
Prophet’s Companions, their world darkened, and they were on the verge of losing their senses. No day had been brighter than the day the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah, and no day was darker than the twelfth of Rabi’ Al-Awwal, 11 A.H., the day he died.🥀💔

Meanwhile, Umar was in the Prophet’s Mosque telling the
people that the Prophet ﷺ would not leave this world until Allah had destroyed the Hypocrites. He threatened to kill anyone who claimed the Prophet ﷺ was dead.

That Monday morning, Abu Bakr noticed that the
Prophet’s health seemed to be improving, and he returned home, optimistic that the Prophet ﷺ would soon recover.

When he reached home, however, he heard that the Prophet ﷺ had passed away. He mounted his horse and galloped back to the Prophet’s Mosque. He entered without saying a word to anyone and walked into the Prophet’s house, where the Prophet ﷺ lay, a Yemenite sheet covering his body. Abu Bakr uncovered the Prophet’s face, kissed him and wept.

“May my mother and father be your ransom,” Abu Bakr said.💔

“You have tasted the death that Allah has decreed for you. There is no death after this one.”

Conscious that the people needed to be addressed, Abu Bakr went into the Prophet’s Mosque where Umar stood fiercely denying the news of the Prophet’s death. Abu Bakr asked Umar to sit down, but he refused. Abu Bakr then went to the Prophet’s pulpit and praised Allah. He looked at the anxious faces before him and addressed them thus:

“O men, if anyone worships Muhammad, let him know that
Muhammad is dead. But if anyone worships Allah☝️, then know that Allah is alive and will never die. Allah says in the Qur’an:

“Muhammad is but a messenger, and many other messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you return to disbelief? Truly, those who abandon belief do not hurt Allah. Indeed, Allah rewards those who are grateful.” (3: 144)

No one had ever reflected on the significance of the verse Abu Bakr recited during his address. It was inconceivable to most of the Companions that the Prophet ﷺ would pass away before they did. Abbas relates; when Abu Bakr read this verse to us, it was as if Allah had never revealed it until that moment.

Umar was especially devastated by the news. Later, he was to describe his reaction in the following words:

“By Allah, when I heard Abu Bakr reciting the verse, I was
taken aback and fell down as it I did not have any legs. It was at that moment that I comprehended that the Prophet ﷺ had died.”💔

To be continued..

A Supplication to Remove Poverty and All Harms

Mak-hool (rahimahullah) said:

Whoever says —

There is no power nor strength except with Allah, and there is no refuge from Allah except unto Him

— Allah will remove from him seventy types of harm,

the least of which is poverty.

[Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah), 20447]

From the Treasures of Jannah

Abu Musa (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said to me, "Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Jannah?"

I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!"

Thereupon he (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,

"(Recite) 'laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa bilLaah' (there is no change of a condition nor power except by Allah)."

#Part 145

Dhul Khalasa is destroyed& the fall of the false prophet Aswad Ansi(145)☝️

In Ramadan, 10 A.H., the Prophet ﷺ sent Ali bin Abi Talib to Banu Mazhaj in Yemen to call them to Islam. Ali was not to fight them unless they attacked first. Ali’s call to the people of Banu Mazhaj toward Islam was received with hostility.

They shot arrows at Ali and his men, but the Muslims were undeterred and counter attacked. After Ali had shown the Banu Mazhaj that they were no match for the Muslim warriors, he called off the attack and once again extended an invitation to embrace Islam. This time the Banu Mazhaj accepted the offer and became Muslim☝️.

After the chieftains and notables of the tribes came forward and took the oath of allegiance, they gave Ali a charity offering for the poor and weak, saying,

“Take from this the right of Allah.”

Ali and his men returned north and met the Prophet ﷺ in Makkah during his Farewell Hajj.

The delegation of Azd Shanwah👍

The Azd Shanwah, a famous tribe of southern Arabia, sent a
delegation headed by Sard bin Abdullah Azdi, and they all embraced Islam☝️.

The Prophet ﷺ appointed Sard as their chief and ordered the Muslims among them to fight the polytheists in southern Arabia.

Dhul Khalasa is destroyed🚫

The Prophet ﷺcontinued to receive delegations and individuals. Jareer bin Abdullah Bajli was one such individual who called upon the Prophet ﷺ and later became one of his most renowned Companions.

His tribe, the Bajela and Khash’am, had a large temple called Dhul Khalasa, which its pagan devotees put on par with the Ka’bah. They called Dhul Khalasa the “Ka’bah Yamaniya” and referred to the Ka’bah as the “Ka’bah Shamiya.”

One day, the Prophet ﷺ said to Jareer, “Will you not give me
peace from Dhul Khalasa?”

Understanding that the Prophet ﷺ wanted him to destroy the pagan temple, Jareer told the Prophet ﷺ that he was not a good horseman. At this the Prophet ﷺ struck Jareer’s chest and said,

“O Allah, keep Jareer firm on his horse. Guide him and let him guide others.”🌺

Accompanied by 150 horsemen from his clan, the Ahmas,
Jareer attacked the temple and burned it down. When the Prophet ﷺ heard the news, he invoked Allah’s blessings five times for the people and horses of the Ahmas.

The rise and fall of Aswad Ansi 🗡️🚫

Islam continued to spread throughout Yemen in southern
Arabia, and soon the Prophet’s administration controlled the entire region. Suddenly, the second false prophet whom the Prophet ﷺ had seen in his vision arose from the city of Khaf Hannan.

His name was Aswad Ansi, and backed by seven hundred warriors, he claimed to be a prophet and ruler.

Aswad captured the city of San’a, and he quickly gained
power and territory. The situation became so difficult for the Muslim administrators that they found themselves confined to the territory of Ash’arain. For three or four months these distressing circumstances persisted until Firoz Delmi, a Muslim from Persia, and his men moved against Aswad and his army.

Firoz killed the false prophet, cut off his head and threw it outside the citadel. The sight of their leaders severed head shattered the resistance of Aswad’s soldiers, and they fled.

When peace was restored, the Muslim administrators wrote to the Prophet ﷺ and resumed their duties.

Aswad Ansi was killed exactly one day before the Prophet ﷺ
himself died. The Prophet ﷺ, however, had already been informed by revelation that Aswad would be killed, and he announced the news accordingly. The letter bearing the good news was later received by Abu Bakr Siddeeq .

#Sahih-hadith:

Praying at night is an honor for the believer, and its virtue is great; therefore, the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, urged people to maintain it, and for a person to perform it while he is active and strong; for that is more beneficial and healthier.

In this hadith, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, informs us that if a Muslim wakes up for a voluntary prayer, or to recite the Qur’an at night, “the Qur’an becomes difficult,” meaning: it becomes difficult and heavy on his tongue, and he is unable to recite it correctly, controlling its words and meanings; due to sleep overcoming him, to the point that he does not know what he is saying from the Qur’an, and perhaps he may make a distortion or mistake, so if that happens, then he should sleep, and not pray, or recite while in this state, and he should rest until he returns to his activity.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, urged his nation to worship in a way that is not difficult for them, and that God accepts. This is from God Almighty’s mercy towards the Islamic nation, that He removed from them hardship and difficulty in their worship, and He wanted ease for them and did not want difficulty for them, as God Almighty said: {God intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship} [Al-Baqarah: 185], and His saying: {God does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity} [Al-Baqarah: 286]. In the hadith: the urging to approach prayer with humility, a free heart, and energy.

A STORY OF A WOMAN WHO HAD TAQWA

ALLĀH'S statement;

*بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم*

ALLĀH will grant after hardship, ease.

This is a sure promise from HIM, and indeed, ALLĀH'S promises are true and HE never breaks them,

This is an ALLĀH'S saying;

Verily, along with every hardship is relief. Verily, along with every hardship is relief. (94:5-6)

There is a relevant Hadith that we should mention here.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Hurayrah said: "A man and his wife from an earlier generation were poor. Once when the man came back from a journey, he went to his wife saying to her, while feeling hunger and fatigued, Do you have anything to eat'

She said, Yes, receive the good news of ALLĀH'S provisions.'

He again said to her, If you have anything to eat, bring it to me.'

She said, 'Wait a little longer.'

She was awaiting ALLĀH'S mercy. When the matter was prolonged, he said to her, Get up and bring me whatever you have to eat, because I am real hungry and fatigued.'

She said, I will. Soon I will open the oven's cover, so do not be hasty.'

When he was busy and refrained from insisting for a while, she said to herself, `I should look in my oven.'

So she got up and looked in her oven and found it full of the meat of a lamb, and her mortar and pestle was full of seed grains; it was crushing the seeds on its own. So, she took out what was in the mortar and pestle, after shaking it to remove everything from inside, and also took the meat out that she found in the oven."

Abu Hurayrah added,

"By HE in Whose Hand is the life of Abu Al-Qasim (Prophet Muhammad)! This is the same statement that Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Had she taken out what was in her mortar and not emptied it fully by shaking it, it would have continued crushing the seeds until the Day of Resurrection."

▪️Shab e Barat in Islam

Some people use the word al-Sha‘baniyyah to refer to the last days of Sha‘ban , and say, “These are the days of bidding farewell to food,” and they take advantage of these days to eat a lot before Ramadan begins. Some scholars say that this idea was originally taken from the Christians, who used to do that as their fasting period (Lent) approached.

To sum up, there is no celebration in Sha‘ban and there is no special act of worship to be performed in the middle of it or during the last days of the month. Doing that is an innovation that has been introduced into the religion.

And Allah knows best.

▪️SHAB E BARAT/ 15th NIGHT OF SHA ’BAN : BID’AH?

▪️What is Shab e Baraat that is celebrated by many South

Shab e Barat is a bid`ah and there is no celebration in Sha’ban and there is no special act of worship to be performed in mid-Sha’ban or during the last days of the month. For more, please see the detailed answer.

▪️Celebrating Middle of Sha’ban
▪️Shab e Barat in Islam

Praise be to Allah.

▪️Celebrating Middle of Sha’ban
Some Muslims celebrate the middle of Sha‘ban, fasting on that day and spending that night in prayer (qiyam). There is a hadith concerning that which is not sahih, hence the scholars regarded celebrating this day as an innovation (bid ‘ah).

Muhammad ‘Abd al-Salam al-Shuqayri said:

“Imam al-Fatni said in Tadhkirat al-Mawdu‘at: Among the innovations that have been introduced on “Laylat an-Nisf ” (mid-Sha‘ban) is al-Salat al-Alfiyyah, which is one hundred rak‘ahs in which Surat al-Ikhlas is recited ten times in each rak‘ah, offered in congregation; they pay more attention to this than to Jumu‘ah and ‘Eid prayers, although there is no report concerning it, except da‘if (weak) and mawdu‘ (fabricated) reports, and we should not be deceived by the fact that these reports were quoted by the authors of al-Qut and al-Ihya and others, nor should we be deceived by what was mentioned in Tafsir al-Tha‘labi, that it is Laylat al-Qadr.”

Al-'Iraqi said:

“The hadith about the prayer on Laylat al-Nisf (mid-Sha‘ban ) is false. Ibn al-Jawzi narrated it in al-Mawdu‘at (which is a compilation of fabricated hadiths):

▪️Chapter on the hadith, prayer and supplication on Laylat al-Nisf:

The hadith, “When the night of ‘nisf Sha‘ban’ (mid-Sha‘ban) comes, spend the night in prayer and fast on that day” was narrated by Ibn Majah from ‘Ali. Muhashiyyah said: (It was also narrated) in al-Zawaid. Its isnad is da‘if (weak) because of the weakness of Ibn Abi Basrah, of whom Ahmad and Ibn Ma'in said: He fabricates hadith.”

Praying six rak‘ahs on Laylat al-Nisf with the intention of warding off calamity, having a long life and being independent of people, and reciting Ya-Sin and offering du‘a in between that -- there is no doubt that this is something that has been introduced into the religion and is contrary to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The commentator on al-Ihya said: This prayer is well known in the books of later Sufi masters, but I have not seen any sahih report in the Sunnah to support it and the connected du‘a. Rather this is the action of some shaykhs. Our companions said: It is makruh to gather on any of the nights mentioned in the mosques or elsewhere. Al-Najm al-Ghayti said, describing spending the night of al-Nisf min Sh‘ban (mid-Sha‘ban) praying in congregation: That was denounced by most of the scholars of the Hijaz, including ‘Ata and Ibn Abi Mulaykah, the fuqaha of Madinah and the companions of Malik. They said: All of that is an innovation (bid‘ah) and there is no report to suggest that the Prophet spent that night in praying in congregation or that his Companions did that either. Al-Nawawi said: The prayers of Rajab and Sha‘ban are two reprehensible innovations.”(Al-Sunan wa’l-Mubtada‘at, p. 144)

Al-Fatni (may Allah have mercy on him) said, after the comments quoted above:

“The common folk are so infatuated with this prayer that they stored up a lot of fuel for it and many evils resulted from it, and many transgressions are committed which we do not need to describe. (It is so bad that) the close friends of Allah feared His punishment and fled into the wilderness. The first time this prayer occurred was in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) in 448 AH. Zayd ibn Aslam said: We never saw any of our shaykhs or fuqaha saying that Laylat al-Bara-ah (15 Sha‘ban) had any superiority over other nights. Ibn Dihyah said: The hadiths about the prayer on Laylat al-Bara-ah are fabricated and one has an interruption in the isnad. Anyone who acts upon a report which is known to be false is a servant of the Shaytan.” (Tadhkirat al-Mawdu‘at by al-Fatni, p. 45)

SAYING "IF ALLĀH WILLS" WHEN PLANNING FUTURE ACTIONS

ALLĀH says:

And never say of anything, “I will definitely do that tomorrow,” without adding, “if ALLĀH wills!”

This prohibition is like others; although it was addressed to the Messenger (ﷺ) for a specific reason, it is also applicable to all accountable individuals. ALLĀH forbade the individual to say, concerning matters in the future, “I will definitely do that” without also mentioning the will of ALLĀH. This is so as to avoid falling into error, which is speaking of the unseen future without being certain as to whether he will do it or not, or whether it will happen or not. That is because failing to say “if ALLĀH wills” is attributing the action to the will of the individual, independently of ALLĀH, and that is not allowed, because the will is all ALLĀH’s.

And you do not will except that ALLĀH wills - Lord of the worlds. {at-Takwīr: 29}

Moreover, mentioning the will of ALLĀH makes things easier, brings barakah (blessing) and is a means of seeking the help of one’s Lord.

Abu Hurayrah (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said:

Suleiman bin Dawud (peace be upon them both) said: "Tonight I will go round (i.e. have sexual relations with) one hundred women (my wives) everyone of whom will deliver a male child who will fight in ALLĀH'S Cause."

On that an Angel said to him, "Say: 'If ALLĀH will.' " But Solomon did not say it and forgot to say it. Then he had sexual relations with them but none of them delivered any child except for one who gave birth to a half-formed child.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If Solomon had said: 'If ALLĀH will,' ALLĀH would have fulfilled his desire and that saying would have made him more hopeful."

21. Zulm means to deprive someone of his right and to act unjustly. Shirk is a grave iniquity because man sets up such beings as equals with his Creator and Provider and Benefactor as have no share whatever in creating him, nor in providing for him, nor in bestowing the blessings on him, which he is enjoying in the world. There could be no greater injustice than this. The Creator’s right on man is that he should worship Him alone, but he worships others and so deprives Him of His right. Then, in whatever he does in connection with the worship of others than Allah, he exploits many things, from his own mind and body to the earth and heavens, whereas, all these things have been created by Allah, the One. And man has no right to use any of them in the worship of any other than Allah. Then, the right of man’s own self on him is that he should not debase and involve it in punishment. But when he worships others than his Creator, he debases his self as well as makes it deserving of the punishment. Thus, the entire life of a mushrik becomes zulm in every aspect and at all times and his every breath becomes an expression of injustice and iniquity.

Luqman 31:13

English - Sahih International

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Luqmān said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allāh. Indeed, association [with Him] is great injustice."

English - Tafsir Ibn Kathir

Luqman's Advice to His Son

Allah says:

And when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him:"O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah.

Allah tells us how Luqman advised his son. His full name was Luqman bin Anqa' bin Sadun, and his son's name was Tharan, according to a saying quoted by As-Suhayli.

Allah describes him in the best terms, and states that he granted him wisdom. Luqman advised his son, the closest and most beloved of all people to him, who deserved to be given the best of his knowledge. So, Luqman started by advising him to worship Allah Alone, and not to associate anything with Him.

Then he warned him:

إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed.

meaning, it is the greatest wrong.

Al-Bukhari recorded that Abdullah said:

"When the Ayah
(It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with Zulm) (6:82) was revealed, the Companions of the Messenger of Allah were distressed by this, and said,

Who among us does not confuse his belief with Zulm!'

The Messenger of Allah said:

إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ أَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَى قَوْلِ لُقْمَانَ

That is not what it means. Have you not heard what Luqman said:
يَا بُنَيَّ لَاا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ
(O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed)"

It was recorded by Muslim.

When Luqman advised his son to worship Allah Alone, he also told him to honor his parents. This is like the Ayah,

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. (17:23)

These two things are often mentioned together in the Qur'an.

Allah says here

Go to next ayah for complete tafsir

TAFSIR Alaa Maududi

(31:13) And call to mind when Luqman said to his son while exhorting him: “My son, do not associate others with Allah in His Divinity.[20] Surely, associating others with Allah in His Divinity is a mighty wrong.”[21]

20. This particular admonition from the wisdom of Luqman has been cited here for two reasons: (1) He gave this admonition to his son, and obviously, no one can be insincere to his own children. A person may deceive others, may behave hypocritically towards them, but no one, not even a most depraved person, will try to deceive and defraud his own children. Therefore, Luqman’s admonishing his son thus is a clear proof of the fact that in his sight shirk was indeed the most heinous sin, and for that very reason he first admonished his dear son to refrain from this iniquity.

(2) The second reason for this narration is that many parents from among the disbelievers of Makkah were compelling their children to turn away from the message of Tauhid being preached by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and remain steadfast on the creed of shirk, as is being stated in the following verses. Therefore, those foolish people are being told, as if to say, The well-known sage of your own land had wished his children well by admonishing them to avoid shirk, now you should judge it for yourself whether you are wishing your children well or ill when you compel them to follow the same creed of shirk.”

#Part 109

The conquest of Khaybar (109)

In Muharram of 7 A.H., the Prophet ﷺ announced the march to Khaybar. Those who had failed to join the expedition to Hudaybia asked to go along, but the Prophet ﷺ announced that only those who had already proved their resolve for Jihad were to go.

The laggards were to be left out of the expedition and the spoils. And so it was that the fourteen hundred Companions who had taken the pledge under the tree near Hudaybia marched out.
Leaving Madinah in the care of Saba bin Arfatah Ghafari, the
Prophet ﷺ set out along a well-known caravan route.

Halfway down, he diverted his troops to another route that led to Khaybar so as to block the Jews’ escape to Syria. The last night of the march saw the Prophet ﷺ and his
troops camp close to Khaybar while the Jews remained oblivious of their presence.

The Prophet ﷺ led Fajr prayer in darkness, and then he mounted his animal to resume the journey to Khaybar. The Jews meanwhile, carrying spades and baskets, began setting out for their fields. When they saw the Muslims, they rushed back shouting,

“By God, Muhammad has appeared with his troops.” The Prophet ﷺ remarked to his men,

“Allahu Akbar! Khaybar has met its doom. When we appear on the plains of a people, the morning turns gloomy for them.”

The population of Khaybar, which lay 171 km north of
Madinah, was spread along three main settlements, Nataah, Katibah and Shaq. Nataah had three citadels, Hisn Na’am, Hisn Sa’b bin Mu’adh and Hisn Qal’a Al-Zubayr.

The two citadels in Shaq were Hisn Abi and Hisn Nizar, while Kattibah had three castles, namely Hisn Qamus, Hisn Wateeh and Hisn Salalam. There were a number of other citadels and castles in Khaybar, but they were smaller and not as wellfortified as those mentioned above.

The Prophet ﷺ pitched his tents east of the citadels of
Nataah, out of shooting range. He then charged at Hisn Na’am. This stronghold of the Jews was well-protected, high and virtually impregnable. It was their first line of defence and the home of their legendary champion, Marhab, who was reputed to have the strength of a thousand men.

A few days went by with both sides trading arrows.🏹 Then the Prophet ﷺ gave his men news of victory. He announced,

“Tomorrow I will give the standard to a man who loves Allah and His Prophet ﷺ, and who is in turn loved by Allah and His Prophet.”💞

The Muslims spent the night in anticipation, each man yearning to be chosen as standard bearer. At daybreak the Prophet ﷺ inquired, “Where is Ali?” The Companions replied, “He has an eye infection.” Ali was brought before the Prophet ﷺ , who applied spittle to Ali’s eyes and prayed for his recovery.👍

Ali found his eyes were cured instantly and he was then given the standard. The Prophet ﷺ instructed him to invite the enemy to Islam. Only if they rejected the call to faith was Ali to fight.⚔️

Hadith...

Abu Hurairah narrated:
""Some meat was brought to the Prophet (s.a.w) and a foreleg was presented to him, and he used to like it, so he bit from it. Then he said: 'I will be the 'Leader' of the people on the Day of Resurrection. Do you know why that is? Allah will gather the people, the first and the last, on one level ground where they will (all) be able to hear a caller, and all of them will be visible, and the sun will be brought near such that the people will suffer distress and trouble that they cannot tolerate nor bear. Then some people will say: "Don't you see the state you have reached? Why don't you look for a person who can intercede for you with your Lord? " Some of them will say to others: " You should go to Adam." So they will go to Adam and say, "You are the father of all mankind, Allah created you with His Own Hands, and breathed into you from His spirit (which He creted for you) and ordered the angels to prostrate for you. Will you not intercede for us with your Lord? Don't you see what has happened to us? Don't you see the state we have reached?" On that Adam will reply, "Today my Lord has become angry such that He has never before been angry, and will never be thereafter. He forbade me (to eat from) the tree, but I disobeyed(Him), Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to somebody else; Go to Nuh." They will go to Nuh and say: "O Nuh! You are the first among the Messengers to the people of the earth, and Allah named you a thankful slave. Will you not intercede for us with your Lord? Don't you see what has happened to us? Don't you see the state we have reached?" You are the Messenger of Allah and His Word which He placed into Mariam, and a Spirit from Him, and you spoke to the people in the cradle. Intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see what has happened to us?" Then 'Eisa will say: "Today my Lord has become angry as He has never before been angry and will never be thereafter." You are the Messenger of Allah and the last of the Prophets, and your past and future sins have been pardoned. Will you not intercede for us with your Lord, don't you see what has happened to us?" Then I will depart until I come to under the Throne to fall prostrating before my Lord. Then Allah will guide me to such praises and beautiful statements of glorification which He did not guide anyone to before me. Then He will say: "O Muhammad! Raise your head. The Innocence (96)

He consulted with his Companions about how he should deal with the situation affecting his household and all of Madinah. Ali subtly advocated separation, but Usama and the others counselled otherwise.

Following this consultation, the Prophet ﷺ ascended the
pulpit and declared it was up to the people to seek redress from the one whose evil had touched even their Prophet’s household. His words were taken to heart by the chieftain of the Aus tribe, who pronounced the death sentence on Abdullah bin Ubayy for beginning the scandal. Since Abdullah bin Ubayy belonged to the Khazraj tribe, their chieftain took the sentence as an affront to the entire tribe👎. More disunity and ill will were bred until the Prophet ﷺ intervened to heal the breach.

By then, ‘Aishah herself had recovered from her illness, and
one night she went to relieve herself accompanied by Umm Mistah. In the darkness, Umm Mistah tripped over her sheet and then proceeded to curse her son. ‘Aishah rebuked her for her imprecation, but the lady told ‘Aishah she was justified in cursing him. After all, wasn’t he also parroting the same lies about ‘Aishah⁉️

“What lies?” asked ‘Aishah. The whole story came rushing
out and ‘Aishah listened silently. When she returned it was to ask the Prophet’s permission to go to her parents’ house. Once she got there her parents sorrowfully confirmed that all of Madinah was whispering about ‘Aishah and Safwan. The tears would not stop.💔

Two nights and a day went by, and ‘Aishah cried while her parents watched and wept too💔. After the second night had passed, the Prophet ﷺ came to Struggling with his own emotions, he said, as

befitting the spiritual head of the community and her husband, “‘Aishah! I have come to know of this and that about you. If you are innocent, Allah will bring your innocence to light. If you have sinned, then repent and seek Allah’s forgiveness, for He forgives those who repent.”

‘Aishah listened without tears. She asked her parents to reply
on her behalf, but they sat mute with grief and reverence for the Prophet ﷺ . Then ‘Aishah spoke in ringing tones: “By Allah, I know that the lie had been repeated so much so
that it has stuck to your hearts and you people have taken it as true. Now, if I say I am innocent – and Allah knows well that I am innocent – you will not accept it as true. In case I confess anything – and Allah knows very well that I am quite innocent – you will take it as true. Thus, I for myself and for you, say what the father of Yusuf said:

“…Patience is beautiful. I seek the help of Allah against what you assert.” (12: 18)

With those words she turned her back on the Prophet ﷺ and
lay down💔. At that moment Allah sent the Prophet ﷺ a revelation.

To be continued..

Al-Haqqah 69:12

English - Sahih International

That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.

English - Tafsir Ibn Kathir

That We might make it an admonition for you,

The pronoun "it" here refers to the species of the object (ships) due to the general meaning alluding to this. Thus, the meaning is, We caused its type of creation (ships) to remain (in the earth) for you, so that you ride upon the currents of the water in the seas. '

This is as Allah says,

and has appointed for you ships and cattle on which you ride; In order that you may mount on their backs, and then may remember the favor of your Lord when you mount thereon. (43:12,13)

And Allah said,

And an Ayah for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship. And We have created for them of the like thereunto, on which they ride. (36:41,42)

Qatadah said,

"Allah caused this ship to remain until the first people of this Ummah saw it."

However, the first view (that it refers to all ships in general) is the most apparent.

Allah continues saying,

and that it might be retained by the retaining ears.

meaning, that a receptive ear may understand and reflect upon this bounty.

Ibn
Abbas said,

"This means an ear that is retentive and hearing."

Qatadah said,
(by the retaining ears), means:

"An ear that Allah gives intelligence, so it benefits by what it hears from Allah's Book."

Ad-Dahhak said,
(and that it might be retained by the retaining ears). means,

"An ear that hears it and retains it, meaning the person who has sound hearing, and correct intellect."

And this is general concerning everyone who understands and retains

Officially, the damage was caused after an IOF interceptor missile hit a rocket from Lebanon, knocking it off of its course. All of the injuries are minor or moderate despite the significant damage to the home.

It should be noted that Palestinians in the interior are not afforded nearly the same protection as zionist Jews. They have no air defenses or shelters, and the IOF places sensitive military sites near occupied Palestinian villages to use them as human shields. #Part 80

The tragedy at Bir Ma’una🥀 (80)

About the same period, the Muslims suffered another setback more tragic than that at Raj’i. Abu Baraa Amir bin Malik, who was known as “Mal’ab Al-Insa” (one who plays with lances), sought an audience with the Prophet ﷺ , who then invited him to Islam. Abu Baraa neither accepted nor rejected the Prophet’s counsel. He chose instead to volunteer his own opinion about the inclination of the people of Najd toward Islam.

He suggested that if the Prophet ﷺ sent some of his Companions to Najd, the people there would enter Islam. He also assured the Prophet ﷺ that the Muslims would be under his protection.

The Prophet ﷺ sent off a contingent of seventy Muslims
who were well-versed in the Qur’an. They camped at Bir Ma’una, and Haram bin Malhan went to Aamir bin Tufayl, a bitter enemy of Allah, with a letter from the Prophet ﷺ. Amir’s response was not to read the letter himself but to order his servant to do so. He took Haram unawares and pierced the latter’s body with his lance. With his last breath Haram sighed, “Allahu Akbar! By the Lord of the Ka’bah, I have succeeded in my mission.”

Amir then called out to the tribe of Banu Amir to attack the
rest of the Muslims, but they refused to break the pledge of protection made by Abu Bara. Amir then called upon Banu Sulaym and some of its sub-tribes such as Ral, Dhakwan, Lehyan and Usayya, who readily came to besiege the Companions and put all of them to death save Ka’b bin Zayd and Amr bin Umayya.

Ka’b bin Zayd was wounded, and left for dead. Later he was rescued from the scene of the carnage, and he recovered only to be martyred in the Battle of the Trench. Amr bin Umayya Damri had been grazing his camels along with Mundhir bin Uqba when he saw the vultures hovering at Bir Ma’una.

Instantly he guessed the outcome of the Muslims’ visit to Amir bin Tufayl. Mundhir rushed to the spot to rescue his brother Muslims. He took on the enemy and fought until he was overcome.

As for Amr bin Umayya, he was taken captive but proved to be more fortunate than the rest of his Muslim brothers. When Amr bin Tufayl was told that the prisoner belonged to the Mudir tribe, he simply took off a lock of Amr’s hair as a trophy and freed him in fulfilment of a vow made by his mother.
Thus it was that Amr bin Umayya escaped death, and he
immediately headed toward Madinah. On the way, he came across two men from Banu Kilab at Qarqaran. Taking them to be enemies, Amr killed them both although they had with them a covenant of peace from the Prophet ﷺ.

Back at last in Madinah, he informed the Prophet ﷺ of what he had done.

So what will happen next⁉️

The Revelation of the Qur'an in Stages

Allah tells:

And with truth We have sent it down,

Allah tells us that His Book, the Glorious Qur'an, has been sent with truth, i.e., it contains the truth, as Allah says:

لَّـكِنِ اللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَأ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكَ أَنزَلَهُ بِعِلْمِهِ وَالْمَلَـيِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ

But Allah bears witness to that which He has sent down unto you; He has sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness. (4:166)

and with truth it has descended.

means, "It has been sent down to you, O Muhammad, preserved and protected, not contaminated or mixed with anything else, with nothing added or taken away. It has come to you with the truth, brought down by one mighty in power, trustworthy and strong, one who is obeyed by the higher group (angels).'

And We have sent you, (O Muhammad),

That is, it is not your responsibility to cause, in a supernatural manner, springs to gush forth or gardens to grow or pieces of the sky to fall down in order to convince those people who do not judge the Quran by its teachings nor decide between the truth and falsehood on merit. As the Quran has been sent down with truth, you should present it before the people and tell them plainly that the one, who believes, does so for his own good and the one who rejects it, does it at his own peril.

#Part 76

Ghaseel Al-Malaaika 🌹(76)

After this exchange, Abu Sufyan went back, and the pagan
troops began leaving the area. They rode their camels🐫 and kept their horses🐎 by their side to indicate the end of the battle and that they were headed back to Makkah🕋. Their inexplicable decision to head back was nothing but a sign form Allah’s grace upon the Muslims, for nothing stood between the pagans and Madinah. Had they pressed on they would have found no opposition in the defenceless city, and the course of history would certainly have been entirely different.

After the departure of the enemy, the Muslims came to the
battlefield to take care of the wounded and the martyred. Some of the dead were transported back to Madinah, but the Prophet ﷺ ordained that the martyrs be brought back to the site of their deaths and that they be buried in battle dress without a bath and funeral prayer.

He also buried two to three martyrs in a single grave. In some cases, he directed his Companions to shroud the martyrs in pairs. The martyr who had learned more of the Quran was lowered in the grave first👍. Paying tribute to their sacrifice in the cause of Allah, the Prophet ﷺ said, “I shall be a witness unto them on the Day of Resurrection.”

As they retrieved the bodies of their martyred brothers, the
people came upon the body of Handhla bin Abu Amr above the earth with water dripping from it. The Prophet ﷺ explained to his men, “The angels are bathing him🌹.”

Apparently, the newly married Handhla had just consummated his marriage, when the call for Jihad was made. Without even stopping to bathe, he left his bride and rushed to the battlefield. Handhla fought heroically and was martyred, so the Prophet ﷺexplained that the angels were bathing him to purify his body. Handhla was forever remembered as “Ghaseel Al-Malaaika” (one bathed by angels).

It was time to bury Hamzah as well🥀. The dead hero had earned Allah’s pleasure, and that was more rewarding than ostentation of a grand burial. In fact, he was shrouded in a sheet so small that when his head was covered, his feet bared and when his feet were covered, his head was exposed. Some rushes were then put over his feet.

Back to Madinah🌴

The martyrs had been buried and Allah’s blessings invoked
upon them.

Now it was time for the Prophet ﷺ to return to Madinah. On the way, he stopped to give solace to some women whose relatives had fallen in the field. His invocation of Allah’s
blessings upon them comforted them immensely. Many of the bereaved Muslims bore their losses with patience and took comfort in knowing that their Prophet was safe, although they had lost their own loved ones in the bargain.

113. It should be noted that this is the third answer to the demand of the disbelievers of Makkah for signs. They said: We will not believe in you until you do this and do that before our eyes. In answer to this demand, they are being warned: Nine clear signs, like the ones you are demanding, were shown one after the other to Pharaoh before you and you also know well what he said, simply because he did not want to believe in Moses (peace be upon him); you also know that when he rejected the Prophet, even after seeing the signs, We drowned him.

The nine signs mentioned here have also been mentioned in (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 133). These were: (1) The staff which turned into a monster snake. (2) Moses’ bright hand which shone like the sun. (3) The public defeat of the sorcery of the magicians. (4) Universal famine. (5) Storm. (6) Locusts. (7) Lice. (8) Frogs. (9) Rain of blood.

114. This has been particularly mentioned here because the mushriks of Makkah attributed the same epithet to the Prophet (peace be upon him) as contained in (Surah Al-Isra, Ayat 47). These wrong-doers say to each other: The man, you are following, is a bewitched person. Here they are being warned that they were following the attitude of Pharaoh, who gave the same epithet to Prophet Moses (peace be upon him).

In this connection, we want to make a brief reference to an objection which has been raised by the modernists against a tradition according to which the Prophet (peace be upon him) once came under the influence of sorcery. They say that this tradition confirms that the epithet “bewitched” applied to the Prophet by the Quraish was correct, whereas the Quran refutes this as false. They forget that the same argument could be applied to the case of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) whom Pharaoh accused of being bewitched. For the Quran says, in (Surah TaHa, Ayat 66-67): When the magicians threw down their cords and rods (instruments of their sorcery),it seemed to Moses as if they were running, as a result of which Moses (peace be upon him) conceived in his mind a sort of fear. If the words of the tradition were to be considered against the Quran, do not these words of the Quran contradict its own words that the charge of Moses (peace be upon him) being bewitched was false? Do these modernists consider this verse to confirm Pharaoh’s charge?

As a matter of fact, these objectors do not know the sense in which the disbelievers of Makkah and Pharaoh called the Prophet and Prophet Moses (peace be upon them) bewitched. What they meant was that some enemy had so bewitched them that they had lost their senses and so in their insanity claimed to be prophets and delivered a curious message. The Quran refutes this charge as false. As regards the temporary influence of magic on same person or a part of him has not been denied, for the influence of magic is like the effect produced on a person who is hit with a stone. The fact that some prophet was temporarily influenced by magic, does not in any way affect his prophethood adversely. Just as poison produced its effect on a prophet, or a prophet was wounded, so a prophet could also temporarily come under the influence of magic. Such a temporary magic could not cause any defect in his prophethood. God forbid, had magic produced any adverse effect on his reasoning and thinking faculties, one might have been skeptical about the authenticity of the message. And when Pharaoh and the disbelievers of Makkah said that Prophet Moses and the Prophet Muhammad were bewitched, they meant that they had lost their senses under the influence of magic. The Quran refutes this charge brought against the Prophets.

The Revenge🥀 (74)

When Hind saw Hamzah’s body, in a gruesome act of vendetta she cut out his belly, extracted his liver, and chewed it, but as she could not swallow it, she spat it out.🥀

Ubayy bin Khalaf made another effort to kill the Prophet ﷺ ,
but was himself struck down. The Prophet ﷺ used his lance to unhorse Ubayy, who bellowed like a wounded ox as he rolled down from his mount. He died at Sarf near Makkah trying to go back to his lines.

A few more men of the Quraysh came headed by Abu Sufyan and Khalid bin Waleed. They scaled the mountain at different points to overtake the Muslims at several places. Umar, along with a band of Muhajireen, fought them back and forced them to descend.⚔️

According to some sources, Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas shot three of their men dead with his arrows.🏹

Abu Sufyan and Khalid bin Waleed decided after the last
abortive attempt to defeat the Muslims that it was time to return to Makkah🕋. They were satisfied at the damage they had wrought. Even though they had lost twenty-two of their own, they had killed a great number of Muslims. The Muslim body count stood at seventy. Forty-one of the martyrs were from the Khazraj tribe, twenty-four from the Aus, and four from the Muhajireen🥀. A Jew was also killed.

At the Muslim camp, it was time to rest and take stock. When
the Prophet ﷺ finally sat down to rest, Ali fetched water for him to drink from Mehra, a stream in Uhud. The water smelled so unpleasant, the Prophet ﷺ couldn’t drink it. However, he washed his face with it and the rest he poured over his head.

His wound started bleeding again🥀, and Fatimah burnt a piece of matting and dressed her father’s wounds with the ashes to stop the bleeding.

Muhammad bin Muslimah fetched fresh water that the Prophet ﷺ drank gratefully. Because of his wounds, he prayed Zuhr sitting, and his Companions adopted the same posture.

The Muslim men were joined by their women who tended to
the injured. Among them were Aishah, Umm Ayman, Umm Sulaym and Umm Sulayt who fetched drinking water in leather flasks, and served it to the wounded.👍

English - Sahih International

Do they not see that Allāh, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse except disbelief.

English - Tafsir Ibn Kathir

See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, is able to create the like of them.

meaning, on the Day of Resurrection, He will recreate and restore their bodies, as He created them in the first place.

And He has decreed for them an appointed term, whereof there is no doubt.

means, He has set a time for them to be re-created and brought forth from their graves, an appointed time which must surely come to pass.

As Allah says:

And We delay it only for a term (already) fixed. (11:104)

But the wrongdoers refuse,

-- after the proof has been established against them,

(and accept nothing) but disbelief.

means, they persist in their falsehood and misguidance
