Rajasthan Excise Act of 1950:
The Act applies to the entire state of Rajasthan.
The State Government can declare the quantity of an excisable article that can be sold by retail in a particular area or to a specific class of people.
Selling more than the declared quantity is considered a wholesale sale.
The Act defines an excisable article as fermented wash, distillation material, or any other item the State Government declares to be excisable.
The Act prohibits the manufacture, cultivation, or collection of certain items without a license from the Excise Commissioner.
